“Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in my teens. I love cuddling, playing, and offer to go on extended walks. I am open to assist with giving medication for doggies who need extra care. I will happily send over pics of your pet during visits. I'm currently part time at a pet hospital. Availability can vary, just message me and we can try to work something out. On days I work usually I'm available in the evenings. I can offer boarding if needed. I do not have a fenced yard, I like to take pets out on walks for potty multiple times a day. I have 1 dog ( Wilbur ) + 2 cats (Phineas and Senu ). Wilbur is very friendly and would love the company of your pet. He is a tree walker coonhound Cats can be separated if needed when boarding your pet. For check ins - I can come over to make sure your pets have their food + water set. If meds need to be given I'm open to doing that. I'll also spend some time with them to offer some love and make sure they have some time outdoors. If owner allows I can take your dog out hiking / extended walks or to the dog park! :)

“Delores is the best! a week before we were going to go on a beach trip, my fiancée and I found out our 12 year old cat was diabetic and needed insulin shots. Thankfully we found Delores who was exceptional with our cat. Insulin is a very time specific medication and she came everyday during the time stated, administered his insulin with no troubles, gave him many cuddles, and brought in our many packages (lol). He also had to have his inhaler once nightly and she was great at making sure he got what he needed! She was communicative and left detailed reports. We felt so much more at ease knowing she was watching our boy! Highly recommend her to anyone!”

I ended up having to extend the care last minute — she graciously worked with me on a moments notice. She was very polite and charismatic at meet and greet, took phenomenal care of Athena, was constantly quick to respond, kept me updated, sent photos, had full flexibility. She also helped work through any logistic issues efficiently and empathetically. My electronic lock to front door broke due to battery and she was at leasing office first thing, handling the situation for me. She made sure it was fixed and reassured me through my travels. She took my trash out. Left a thank you card. From start to finish she went above and beyond. It honestly felt like she treated my dog and home as her own, which is rare to find in sitters. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was in my teens. I love cuddling, playing, and offer to go on extended walks. I am open to assist with giving medication for doggies who need extra care. I will happily send over pics of your pet during visits. I'm currently part time at a pet hospital. Availability can vary, just message me and we can try to work something out. On days I work usually I'm available in the evenings. I can offer boarding if needed. I do not have a fenced yard, I like to take pets out on walks for potty multiple times a day. I have 1 dog ( Wilbur ) + 2 cats (Phineas and Senu ). Wilbur is very friendly and would love the company of your pet. He is a tree walker coonhound Cats can be separated if needed when boarding your pet. For check ins - I can come over to make sure your pets have their food + water set. If meds need to be given I'm open to doing that. I'll also spend some time with them to offer some love and make sure they have some time outdoors. If owner allows I can take your dog out hiking / extended walks or to the dog park! :)
About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes, as well as a few cats, for years in a more casual setting. I usually sit for friends, family friends, and neighbors, usually through check-ins, and only a few times with boarding in my own home. I have two dogs of my own, ages 5 and 9mo who were both raised from puppies, so I have basic puppy training and grooming skills. I also have experience with dogs who need regular medication or who have specialized/specific diets. I am open to caring for any pets except birds, special needs/sensitive reptiles, and insects. I am currently a student at Penn State and I am looking for summer job in my hometown. I would most likely be free at almost any time during the week and would be open to over night stays as well with prior notice. “Boarding with Ellen was outstanding. We had a family emergency that made taking our large dog with us impossible. He’s five-years old and had never been away from home - I am sure it was challenging for him. While not aggressive or disobedient, at about 120lbs he can be intimidating. Ellen was clearly very comfortable with him during our meet and greet visit and was very confident he’d be fine with her. He absolute was! She made him very at home on her beautiful farmette with her pack of critters. They all looked clean and loved. I noted her calmness with the dogs and confidence in their interaction under her watchful eye. The dogs have plenty of space to run and socialize. She made sure we gave her his “regular” food and medications, and verified other foods he would be allowed to have. She sent regular updates and photos during his stay. Each action shot was accompanied by a thoughtful narrative of the photo. We really enjoyed pictures of his quiet time, napping with the other dogs in her home was comforting. They all looked content. We needed an extra day of boarding because of the unpredictability of our travel and Ellen made it so easy. Our dog made new friends and we did too.”
