About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”

“Alberta was the best match for "Lucky", my very personable and sweet 15- year old Golden Doodle. Before accepting Lucky for a Sunday-to-Sunday December stay, Alberta asked all the right questions from his daily routine to how best to administer his prescription meds. Alberta also required a current veterinarian record as proof that Lucky was up to date on all his shots and also so she could keep an eye on his health. Aside from a very professional, proficient, and friendly onboarding the real magic happened when Alberta cheerfully greeted Lucky and she knew to give him time and space to acclimate to his new B&B and her own three doggies - a greyhound, a lab and a golden mix. Every morning I received a cutie pie photo of my fur baby in a different scenario which showed me just how well he was doing! Snoozing on his bed, hanging with her other dogs in the fenced in yard, or begging for a treat. Normally when I pick up my boy from other sitters he looks a bit frazzled-as if to say- what was that all about!? LOL But after his stay with Alberta and family Lucky came trotting out, happy to see me and and freshly brushed too. I could see in his eyes that he was well-rested and happy. WOW! Thanks Alberta for all the TLC!”

About: I have had pets all my life and adore animals. I enjoy taking the time to play with the dogs, and giving them the love and attention that they need. The Townsend Rail Trail is right near my house, and I am able to enjoy multiple daily walks with my 4 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Loki, on that trail. At this time I are unable to accommodate dogs who are aggressive, or dogs who are not house trained. I currently work from Home, so I am able to devote plenty of time to ensuring that the dogs get plenty of love and attention throughout the day. My daughter also enjoy spending time with any dogs that I have at the house giving them extra love and attention throughout the day, always supervised and as appropriate with each dog. My yard is not fenced in, so a dog would be leashed to play in the yard, but I have a dog runs to enable the dogs to enjoy some time running freely in the grass each day. I am able to separate the dogs as needed and for feeding times to ensure that they remain stress free. We are able to accommodate crate training schedules as needed, our dog is only crate trained at night. We are home most of the time, but if we do leave the house we ensure that the dogs are not left alone for extended periods and we are able to seperate them safely while out of the house without crating them unless requested. We do have two cats, but as our dog does not get along with them we have them separated upstairs from the dogs and all pets are 100% safe. The dogs have free run of the downstairs and the cats have free run of the upstairs all day so that everyone remains safe and happy with no issues!

About: I've had a connection with animals since I can remember. I've cared for cats and dogs and have cleaned litter boxes, and have walked many miles in those decades. I'm currently working almost full-time as a school librarian so my availability is weekdays after 4pm, Wednesdays after 2pm. Weekends are open for pet care as are holidays and school vacation weeks. I love to give a dogs plenty of playtime, snuggles, belly and ear scritches, short walks, and long walks. Fresh water always available. And get them moving to work out those zoomies in their system!

About: Ever since I was little, I have always loved caring for my own pets. I have always lived with at least one dog. I currently have a pug, two shitzus, a cat, and a bearded dragon. I enjoy giving them the love, care, and attention they deserve, and so my goal is to give the same to your pets! About: I have spent my entire life around animals so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I grew up in a household with over 40 animals, including dogs, cats, and exotic pets. I have spent years working in a small locally owned pet store in my home town taking care of exotics, before moving into kennel work at a vet’s office. I have experience in giving medications to dogs and cats in different methods, and monitoring their health afterwards. My primary role was offering our boarding pets the comfort of a home away from home. I’m a reptile dad every day, taking care of my own snake and bearded dragon babies. I’m currently home every day with time and love to give to other pets and their people who need an extra hand. I have a big room with a comfy bed that they can lay on in a nice couch that we can sit and watch shows on. I also have a fenced in yard outback that I can take them in to play, but I have a spacious cemetery up and across the street that is great for leash walks as well. I also have various toys and litter boxes as well.
About: I have taken care of animals all my life.I love animals unlimited! I’m looking for summer work, I’m a teacher September through June. I will continue to work evenings and weekends during the school year !! I will be available all summer and starting September evenings and weekends. I am a very reliable, responsible person. I’ve cared for lots of friends’ animals In the past. I will do whatever is needed: feeding, walking, making sure they go to the bathroom and giving lots of love ! I will also give medications and care for elderly animals.
About: My love for my own pets inspired me to continue working with animals during college! With a major in psychology and a goal of working with therapy animals in the future, I love learning and growing as much as I can. I have professional experience in animal shelters, and a therapy animal program! I'm hoping to spend more time gaining experience working with animals. About: I love to work with animal, I’ve been in the veterinary profession for 10+ years. If your pet has special care instructions I will follow them perfectly. I have dogs, cats, and horses at home so I am very comfortable working with all sizes of animals. I also know how to care for birds, fish, guinea pigs, and hamsters and pigs. I know how much a pet can mean to someone so ill will care for yours as if they were my own I currently work 4 days a week. I am available Fridays to Sunday’s if you are looking for a weekend getaway or if you have a busy weekend and would like your dog to go for a walk I don’t offer in my home dog services but can offer cat or small animal boarding. About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. For drop in visits we are avaliable to work in the Shirely and immediately surounding area. We have some flexibility with the schedule that we can work out if you're interested! We offer lots of human and other dog socialization in our home. We have people and dogs visitors in home as well as on walks to parks and rivers.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life making me a true animal lover! I have experience both walking and dog sitting all sorts of dogs. I also had the pleasure of working at an animal shelter for a few years. I would love to get to know your dogs and help out with them as much as I can! I am currently a junior in college at Fairfield university. This semester I am available on Monday and Thursday afternoons between 1pm and 5pm and Wednesdays all day, 8:30am-5pm. I am also around on other days which we can chat about if need be! I can take care of your pet at your house. I would love to take them for walks or play with them off leash in a fenced in yard!

We left Sully for an extended period of time for the very first time, which of course came with parental nerves and concerns (especially since my dog has IBD, so he needs the extra care and attention) Ashton was incredibly responsive, accommodating, and understanding of our nerves, but his care for Sully quickly dissolved our nerves of leaving Sully with how well he cared for him. Ashton sent us morning/evening updates, pictures, and took care of our dog as if he was one of his own (so much so that we could tell Sully was sad to leave him!) Ashton is an amazing pup care giver, i’d recommend him 10/10 and will choose him 100x over next time we need a sitter (and i know Sully will be so excited to see him again)”
