But while I was gone he went out of his way to make sure she had the best day each day…play dates, went on adventure walks, cuddles! He was knowledgeable about dog traing and grooming (my dog came back soft and shiny.) He even bought her a very expensive chew toy, which he sent her home with. She actually cried a little when I took her home because she got so attached to Marc. I cannot recommend Marc highly enough.”

“Having moved recently to New Bedford, we didn´t have any close friends or relatives to leave our Lhasa Apso Johann with. We are so glad we came accross Taylor and Tyler on the Rover platform. They responded to my first contact almost immediately and were very attentive in getting back to me so we could arrange our meet and greet. They took care of Johann for 5 nights and would send me pictures daily and keep me posted. Johann adapted very well and we could see he was being well taken care of and having a fun time! About: I have a senior cat with a serious digestive and heart condition, so I’m certainly used to giving pets their proper medications, feeding at specific times, or just generally giving them the love and attention they need! I grew up with dogs, and have pet sat for friends, family and clients for years. I feel more than comfortable feeding, walking or staying with pups of any breed or size. I’ve been a sitter on Trusted Housesitters for years and have been lucky enough to let sit as far away as Berlin! I’d love the opportunity to take great care of your pets while you’re away! About: I wasn’t allowed to have a dog when I was growing up, I became the neighborhood dog walker! Once I moved out I’ve had dogs ever since. My last dog Chloe passed away in early May at the age of 17. I miss having a dog around but am not ready to get another yet. I would love to hang out with yours! I’m a high school math teacher and off for the summer so I have a very flexible summer schedule. I usually take a couple of walks a day and would love some company! I would be happy to adapt to your pets schedule. In the past my dogs are allowed on the furniture, and have been crate trained. I’ll follow any directions that you give. About: Our mission is to offer people a simple, affordable option for boarding their pets: to keep them fed, safe and company while you're away. There's nothing worse than doubling the price of your vacation just to get your pets looked after! We keep our boarding price more than reasonable to give folks the financial bandwidth to spend their vacation money on their vacation--not on boarding their pets. We are both contract workers with flexible schedules, and Taylor is often able to work from home so your pets will have plenty of companionship! So we told you our mission-- There's a few ways this translates. We have a huge yard. So, we don't take your pups on walks. BUT. We play fetch, tug of war, and intentionally initiate zoomies. If your pup is conditioned to expect walks, it's probably most fair to find a sitter who'll get that walk in! We love a good daytime cuddle, but we also like a good night's rest. Your dogs will get walks, play, get cuddles, etc. I am also used to working around specific quarks. For example, dogs who eat rocks may require a face mask for walks, dogs with sensitive stomachs, etc. I set alarms for their meals and keep a consistent walk/play routine. I feel responsible for their safety too, so if they play with dogs who are too rough, I will move along. Their happiness and comfort is literally my job!

About: Beyond being a dog owner myself to my beloved rescue Jordi, I've also taken more dog sitting jobs than I can count. I LOVE dogs! I like to go the extra mile by taking dogs on extra long walks and adventures, always administering their medication at the correct time, giving dogs extra love and cuddles, and always keeping the house super neat and tidy. I already walk my own dog twice a day, and he loves walking with a friend! If you need a drop in visit or occasional help with a dog walk, it's already a part of my routine. Of course I do not need to bring my own dog, but if your dog enjoys the companionship of other dogs, it could be a great option! He has trust issues, fear aggression, and separation anxiety so he has needed a lot of TLC but he is a great dog, with a huge heart. Once you are in his "pack", he will love you for life! Our 9 year old cat, Mist, was adopted from the HART Organization in ME 9 years ago. She is a dog in her alter ego and is simply a love. They both are happy, loved, and spoiled pets! “Having moved recently to New Bedford, we didn´t have any close friends or relatives to leave our Lhasa Apso Johann with. We are so glad we came accross Taylor and Tyler on the Rover platform. They took care of Johann for 5 nights and would send me pictures daily and keep me posted. Johann adapted very well and we could see he was being well taken care of and having a fun time!
