“Where do we begin...this was a hard choice when trying to find someone to watch our fur baby for 6 days. He got to know Barb and a visit to her home for a meet and great. Then another visit for half a day. He was in heaven. Barb sent photos throughout the day. He was in a good mood and not anxious at all. Then we left TicTac in her care for 6 days. So many pictures came to us. He definitely has made new friends and was cared for so well. I highly recommend Barb 🌟”

About: I have extensive experience caring for cats from kittens to seniors, including administering oral medications. This includes my own cats and also family/friend cats. I have my own rescue pit mix dog who has needed some patience to build her confidence and I’m proud of the work we’ve done together in the 1+ years together. I’ve also worked as a kennel assistant handling meal times, medication, day cares, walks, and clean up. I have always loved pets, from hamsters up to big 100 lbs dogs. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.

About: Hello! My name is Natsuko and I live in Watertown with my fiancée Carson and dog Luna. I’ve lived with and cared for dogs since I was very young, and I’ve gained lots experience with dogs with a wide range of personalities and needs. I’m comfortable with puppy care, including basic leash manners and crate training, and I focus on consistency and positive reinforcement so dogs feel secure while learning. I’ve also lived with dogs who have anxiety or past trauma, and have experience slowly building trust and bonds. I am currently a remote freelancer and this set up gives me great flexibility to spend quality time with my dog Luna during my workday. She LOVES other doggos and would love to play with and go on walks with a new friend! We typically go on short pee breaks once every three hours and go on two long walks every day. My schedule is very flexible so I am confident I can accommodate for the bathroom/walk/eating schedules of any dog in my care. We live in a very walkable neighborhood in Watertown with the Fresh Pond loop a quick walk away! There are many options to take dogs out for a short or long walk. In our home, we have nice open spaces for dogs to play with each other and with toys. Since we have a dog of our own, we have dog proofed our whole home. Our dog Luna loves playing with other dogs and has had no issues with socializing. If a dog in my care needs a break from playtime or gets overstimulated, we have options to separate the dogs if needed since Luna is crate trained and we have many rooms for the dogs to use.
About: I love taking care of dogs and just hanging out with them. I work full-time onsite so I am only available after or before work hours to take them on walks and for stay over. However my husband works from home who also loves dog to keep them company during the day! I have a full time onsite job so I am not available during the day however my husband works from home so he is available. I handle the morning chores including pet meals and Phoebe’s first walk of the day. John handles the second walk of the day when he gets home from work and the second mealtime then. Night time, Phoebe always gets a walk before bed and cats get their last meal. On weekends and free days off together (I always have a 3 day weekend) Phoebe usually gets a trip out to a park, trail, or beach where she can either roam and get her running in. Phoebe gets playdates often with her dog besties who live nearby. Phoebe is crate trained and we have an extra crate on hand too as needed. Currently Phoebe and the cats roam free together when we’re at work because they’re trustworthy now but if a guest comes, we can separate rooms easily and use crates. In other clients homes, I will always follow the rules of the house. Dogs and cats alike will get lots of enrichment, walks, and playtime so everyone is satisfied and comfortable.

“Our dog Lincoln had an amazing time with Stefan and his family. I was very nervous to leave him, as we recently moved to Arlington. I shouldn’t have worried at all! Stefan eased my mind by sending me pictures and updating me on what he was doing. After a day, I started thinking that Lincoln was on a vacation! He got love, he played with other dogs, got exercise, and at night was snuggled in bed. His stay exceeded my expectations, and I would leave Lincoln with them anytime. He had a great time.
