About: I am athletic and have always grown up around animals. I work at a pet boarding/daycare facility that allows me to get additional experience. With that being said, I have handled several breeds including different diets. I have handled Yorkies to Mastiffs and love them all! Puppies are the show stoppers but tend to lose control at times so I am willing to work on standard obedience commands as well. About: I'll care for your pet like it's my own, and will provide ample ear scritches and snuggles as needed while they miss you during your time away. Our dogs share the couch and family spaces with us, but are crate trained as well. We go for walks daily and have playtime in the yard every 2-3 hours during the day if the weather is appropriate. We have two dogs, and an elderly cat that keeps to himself. Our yard is about an acre on a quiet dead end road and we have an electric fence for our pups, but can of course use leashes and leads as well!

At home, I’ve had dogs, cats, birds, and horses for my entire life. Over the last three years, I’ve cared for three senior dogs who required an array of medications. About: I’m currently working in a veterinary ER, as a veterinary assistant. I’ve also worked in shelter and veterinary hospital settings as a veterinary assistant. I have experience with dogs cats and exotics with a range of temperament and health conditions. I’m comfortable caring for aging / medically complicated animals, and animals with different behavior needs. I have experience with behavior training, crate training, potty training, medication administration, and any needs your pet may have! I work nights and have some extra flexibility for daytime appointments, and am able to fill up my days off with pet care. For boarding stays, my girlfriend and I have opposite schedules, and can for the most part provide care around the clock to pets staying with us. I am open to and capable of handling any temperament of dog / cat as I have a lot of diverse experience! I will focus attention on any animals that need caring for and match my care to their needs.

About: I have owned and helped take care of pets since I was a child and have worked in the veterinary field for 5 years. I am proficient at giving oral and injectable medications. I am a born animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I do work full time, so would mostly be available weekends but can be flexible depending on the situation. I do not currently own a dog or cat, but I volunteer with Our Companions in their Adopt a Shelter program spending time visiting and walking dogs in local shelters, and I have volunteered at their animal sanctuary in Ashford walking dogs. I am also in their Canine College program, taking and assisting in dog training classes. I enjoy using positive training techniques (treats and praise) to reinforce polite dog walking and attentive behaviors. I am comfortable walking dogs up to 70 lbs. I have recently retired, which gives me some flexibility, and I am participating in a Canine College dog training program. I love dogs, and I am looking for more opportunities to meet and spend time with dogs. I also enjoy cats and would be happy to house sit and/or walk your cat as well! I am learning about dog body language and how to help engage dogs in enrichment, calming, and attention-game activities while in a home, in a yard, and on a walk.
