You can get a dog to love you but to respect you is a different story. My full time job is 12:00-7:30pm. Days I dont work I’m 100% available to watch your pups all day if need be. I can take care of bathroom breaks at 11am and 7:30-8pm Pups that I care for get 110% of my attention. At the moment I’m available to take care of clients dogs within their homes. If it means overnights I’m more than happy to.

“Meg was great with Roxy! I had booked Meg to house sit for my senior cat who, while intolerant of other animals, craves social contact from humans. In addition, she needs daily thyroid medication. Having a neighbor drop in once a day to clean the litter box and feed her wasn't going to cut it as Roxy tends to become stressed when her routine is changed very much, and she really needed someone to be there with her in the evenings/overnight. I was glad that Meg was available to house sit while I was out of state for a week. As luck would have it, however, Roxy showed symptoms of a UTI on the night before I was to leave, and I was concerned about leaving her. Because she's had UTIs before, I knew the signs and that she would be OK if she went to the vet the next day for a shot of antibiotics. I was able to make an appointment with the vet from the airport, and Meg brought Roxy to the vet at the end of the day. It was such a relief to know that Roxy was in such good hands! Meg kept me apprised with daily updates, and I returned home to find a happy, healthy cat! I would recommend Meg to anyone :)”

For Starters - I have ramps into my house and into my completely fenced-in back yard. I make every effort to make your dog feel like they are home. I have several dog beds throughout the house and provide easy access to my back yard. I am adept at giving medications, if necessary during your dog's stay. I live close to 2 cranberry bogs, which I use to walk larger dogs during their stay. I have been a pet owner since 2007 and have rescued a number of senior dogs since that time. Currently, I have a new senior addition to my household; Bailey, a very chill mini-border collie. She gets a long with most dogs and all people. I retired from my job in the pharmaceutical industry at an early age so that I could enjoy many years of retirement and doing the things that I enjoy such as taking care of other people's pets. I have a fenced in yard and provide water bowls both inside and outside my house. I keep a crate handy for separation issues. I have pill pockets for any medications that need to be given.

About: Lifelong dog owner and new cat mom! Batman is my dog and is 10 y/o and 75+ lbs. Did primary care for him from COVID onward (feeding, walking, spending time with, etc.) I’ve also frequently pet sat for friends and family who are out of town. Other skills/ situations I’ve handled in the past: - Training reinforcement (dog should already know the skill and/or command) - Dogs with knee injuries - Dogs with separation anxiety - Giving medication - Potty training (limited) - Dogs who are too big to be lap dogs and haven’t realized it yet LOL I am also a cape local, so I’ve learned all the good walking spots around here If you have any questions, lmk! Currently on summer break before going to NYC for college in late August, so I’ve got plenty of free time before then! Weekly availability schedule as follows: S: 12-7pm M: 9am-12:30, 1:30-7pm T: 9am-12:30, 1:30-6pm W: 9am-12:30, 1:30-7pm Th: 9am-1:30pm F: 9am-12:30, 1:30-7pm S: 12-6pm *I may be able to schedule outside of available times with 1 week of notice, but can make no guarantees. Please contact me first if you’re looking for a time outside my typical hours. My pets follow feeding schedules, so that’s 100% something I can accommodate. I have handled pets with limited access to or from parts of homes before. My dog has walked on both a harness and a collar, so I have experience with both. Please leave a harness is clear view of that’s your preference. Crating is not something I do with my pets, but I am aware of how to if that’s something you’d like. I interned with an interior designer, so I am aware of home etiquette! My baseline is taking shoes off at the door, sticking to main areas (kitchen, living room, yard), not accepting or eating food, drinking from my own water bottle, and I’ll typically use the bathroom in my own home before I go to a client’s unless it’s an emergency. If any of that is different in your home or you want clarification I can absolutely do that, just let me know ahead of time! And I will NEVER give out an address, security code, or key location.

About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes. Growing up, my family had large dogs (90+ pounds) for almost all of my life. I have watched and pet-sat for dogs of all sizes in the past few years for neighbors and friends. I’ve recently moved back to the Massachusetts area after a travel-heavy job for the past few years, so no fur babies of my own yet! I look forward to re-exploring some of the wonderful walking trails the Cape offers with your furry friends! I’m currently working as a server part-time, so have plenty of time to play with, walk, and feed your dogs/cats. I am available for boarding or pet-sitting in your home most weeks, and for walks nearly every evening, plus morning and afternoon shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a large backyard and walking trails within a 10-minute walk from my house, perfect for leashed adventures! I do not have any pets in the house full-time, but may have my parent’s well-trained and friendly rescue in the house on occasional weekends.

Cat boarding I accept throughout the week in addition to weekends. The animal comes first, simple as that. I offer dog walks around Cape, in home visits to feed and play in the yard, and selective boarding of pups in my own home as that’s limited to weekends only.
