Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. About: I’m a young outdoors person who loves animals. Your animals needs will always be met with me. Whether it’s a younger dog who need lots of playing time and exercise, or an older pet who just needs loving, I will be perfect for the job. I’ve lived with animals in my house for my entire life. From Dobermans to Shih Tzus and turtles to fish. I have been house sitting for friends and neighbors for a while now with no issues. I’ve also done some dog training while my brother got his service dog. No matter what, your pets needs will be taken care of with me with love. I am a college student on winter break and would love to work a little bit over the break. Until January 20th, I am available 7 days a week and any times you need. The only times I will not be available is Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. I’ve got 2 older dogs (poodle and shih tzu) who are very friendly and love to play. I’ve got 2 different sized cages, small and large, for any type of dog you have. We do not have a fence in back yard but a large backyard to run around in with a leash and lovely neighborhood.

For cats I let the independent ones comes to me when they want attention and then cuddle up and give lots of pets to the ones who like more human affection.
“Debbie took our 2 dogs ( German shorthair pointer and chocolate lab) on nice long walk for two days in a row over the weekend. Debbie arrived on time and communicated with me and followed all of my little tips in a note I left for her. She was even able to switch up the arrival time on the second day as needed. Our pointer has to be crated and Debbie was able to easily access and secure the crate. The same dog is young and strong with a tendency to pull on walks and Debbie was easily able to walk both our dogs together and control them. I would definitely book Debbie again.”

I’ll make sure your dog is happy, fed, walked, exercised, and loved! ❤️ I am very flexible when it comes to scheduling and am willing and able to fit ample time into my weekly schedule to take care of your dog(s)! I care for pets by making sure they are fed, hydrated, happy, & of course, loved! If your dog likes toys please bring them along and I’ll play fetch with them! I also make sure they take frequent bathroom breaks and that they get plenty of exercise!
About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.

About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.
