“Harriet provided stellar care for our two dogs, Theo and Bodhi, while I was away for two weeks in Europe. I was particularly grateful for her deep care for Theo in his old age. I felt absolutely secure while I was away, knowing that Harriet was taking such good care of the boys while I was gone.”
“Caitlin was amazing! Great communication before and during. She made our first rover experience 😍 a good one. I was so worried leaving Nala for the first time but text messages and pictures over the weekend made me feel better. I am so glad I have someone to trust with Nala from now on.”
“Karen took wonderful care of our 2 Goldendoodles and she took wonderful care of us as well. Our dogs had never been away from home overnight and my husband and I are big worriers. Karen never made us feel uncomfortable about all our questions and concerns and she stayed in close contact with us throughout their stay by sending photos and text updates regularly. We would absolutely recommend Karen if you are looking for a home away from home for your dog.”
“Chelsea is amazing!! She took such good care of our pup and on such short notice 🙏🏼. She is super responsive and communicative. I would highly recommend her! We will definitely be using her services again! ❤️”
“I would absolutely recommend Andrea & Bob B to anyone looking for a loving, trustworthy sitter/board. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly welcoming and made our furry family member feel completely at home. I had such peace of mind knowing he was happy, safe, and so well cared for. Our pup truly had a little vacation of his own! He went shopping, checked out a baseball game, ran around and played games in the fully fenced backyard, enjoyed plenty of snuggles, and was treated like part of the family. It was clear how much genuine care and attention he received. I am so grateful for Andrea & Bob, and the care they gave. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Five stars all the way! 🐾❤️”
“Caitlin and her family were great! This was my first time ever using ROVER and she made it a great experience. I'll definitely reach out to Caitlin in the future!”
“it was a wonderful experience using Michele to care of Coco. She kept us update with photos and text. She made us feel comfortable that Coco was in good hands. We will definitely use her again.”
“Zuzana did an amazing job taking care of our lab. Gizmo was a great host and our dog had a blast. Zuzana also went out of her way to purchase a new collar when ours broke last minute. Thank you so much! Would book again 100%!!!”
“Glenn proved to be a good sitter for our Havanese, Lucy. She seemed very happy to be with Glenn. We had the opportunity to meet with Glenn briefly before the sitting which made us feel comfortable leaving Lucy with a stranger. He lives very close to us, which was a nice bonus.”
“Sara took such great care of my Norma the 4 nights we were on the Cape for vacation! Norma is an anxious girl and Sara was able to quickly attune to her and help her feel right at ease (Norma usually barks when she meets new people; she didn’t bark at all upon meeting Sara and warmed to her very quickly!). Sara was responsive and communicative throughout Norma’s stay, sending along status updates and sweet photos and videos of Norma looking relaxed and happy. I will definitely have Norma stay with Sara the next time I’m on the Cape! Would highly recommend Sara to anyone looking for great dog care!”
“Cindi was absolutely wonderful in caring for our dog Benny. We got daily updates and pictures letting us know how he was doing. The meet and greet was really thorough and made us feel like Benny would be at a home away from home while we were out of town. I would absolutely recommend Cindi to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter for their pup!”
“Madaket was fantastic, we arrived at the property and my dog Olympia started sprinting around with her dog Millie. The property was also very large, which gave Olympia plenty of room to enjoy herself. Madaket sent several pictures and videos throughout the day. There is nothing better than feeling confident that your dog doesn’t miss you because you know they are having such a good time ?! I’d be happy to leave Olympia there any time! Plus she gave Olympia a little blue bandana ?”
“Ryan was great with Mila, with sending pictures and even being able to take her for a bit longer last minute without hassle. She looks forward to hanging with him again!”
“I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. Especially if your dog needs friends to play with and a watchful person to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. :) Thank you so much Julie!”
“Highly recommend Jennifer and Stephen to take care of your furbaby! It is a doggie heaven at their house with lounging spots galore. Sunny spot? Check. Soft like a cloud? Check. In front of a fireplace? Yep. I'd vote them the Outer Cape's best Dog B&B!”
“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”
“My wife and I recently moved out of state from the Cape. We could not leave without writing one last review of Karen. We have left our dog Annie with Karen many times, sometimes for just a night or two and sometimes for over a week when taking longer vacations. We cannot begin to say how much we and Annie will miss Karen and Juni. Karen is the kindest person you could ever meet. She loves dogs and immediately took Annie in as though her own. She is a dog whisperer. Annie loves her. She is truly a remarkable dog sitter and human being. We could always relax when we left Annie with her as we were totally confident in her ability to handle any situation that might arise as well as know she always was providing exceptional care and a happy and loving experience for our pup. As for Juni, Annie loved playing with her, sleeping next to her and just being with her whenever she would visit. Juni is the sweetest, most friendly and happy lab. Annie will miss her terribly. Annie would begin barking with excitement the moment we got off route 6 for Hyannis. This always made our hearts sing. Karen and Juni are simply exceptional. My wife, Annie, and I will forever miss them.”

“Karen made drop-in visits to care for my cat while I was on vacation. She came twice a day, early in the morning and again at dinnertime. She provided food, fresh water, changed the litter, and kept the areas clean. She also took away the used cans to recycle & took away the litter. The texts and photos were reassuring. I definitely recommend Karen. She was thorough and reliable.”

“Lana was the most responsive and caring sitter for my two cats. My Kitties are not used to having cat sitters and are very nervous around new people. She spent extra time communicating with me about their behavior. She also made sure that my extra shy little girl had a chance to eat by feeding her in the bedroom where she was hiding. Lana is a gem and I would be happy to have her take care of my cats any time. I cannot recommend her highly enough.”
“Tracey is a gem! She gave detailed recaps of the visits and gave my kitty so much love and attention. She was quick to respond and work with my schedule. It was such a relief to know my cat was in good hands while I was away. Would definitely use Tracey in the future!”

“Catlin was great!!! I needed someone last minute and was having a tough time finding anyone so last minute. She squeezed my baby (dog) in and took excellent care of him!! He was so worn out from all the playing he slept the rest of the day. Thank you so much.”
“Glenn and Kirsten took care of my pup, Jesse -- Kirsten took the time to show me around the yard to be sure I was comfortable with it, both made sure to inquire as to what Jesse's needs would be for the day... Thank you!”
About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.

“It was the first time we left our dog with a sitter and we couldn't be more pleased! Andrea and Bob took the time to get to know our Buddy before the first visit which was very comforting. And we loved the updates we received throughout the day. Looking forward to booking with them again!”
“Michele took good care of our senior dog so we could be tourists in Chatham for the day! She’s got a great fenced in and grassy back yard and even took notes for our dogs special needs.”
About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.
“Chelsea watched our miniature schnauzer mix for a day and she was absolutely wonderful with him. She was very responsive and flexible, and made the whole process so easy. When we went to pick up our pup, he looked so content just sitting in her arms, and he NEVER sits still. We will call upon Chelsea again in the future, no hesitation!”
“I've now left P'town but while I was there, meeting Cassandra and knowing that my Golden was in the hands of a kind, professional, patient and flexible person made my vacation so much more relaxing and enjoyable. Cassandra represents my first interaction with Rover and I am delighted to have been able to work with her.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

“We only had a short trip but our dog, Finn had an absolute ball at Marc’s house. The pictures he sent us showed Finn running, playing meeting other dogs and generally having a great time. Whenever we leave Finn with Marc, we can go away without any worries at all. When Finn comes home, he’s a happy and tired dog!”
“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”
About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. I’m home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout and spot for their bed. The ilving room has multiple sunny spots for napping throughout the day. We will take several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.
About: My name is Eric and I live in Falmouth with my wife, 3 children, basset hound and bunny. I work as a firefighter paramedic and have a rotating schedule with 6/8 days off. Looking to fill my time with taking care of your furry family members. We can host or my wife or I can stay in your home. We can also do drop in visits or walks throughout the day. I am comfortable administering medications orally or injected for pets requiring it. We are an active family that loves walks, playing fetch or just rolling around the yard. We do limit dogs that stay with us to be good with children ages 3-11 and other dogs. If we don't have a service listed please ask!
