About: I grew up with animals. As a result, I have had the responsibility of animal care since I was 6 years old. It is a part of my core self. I trained a rescue pit bull in my adult life. Through this process I learned a lot about the psychology of dogs and how to be a responsible dog owner. I had 12 wonderful years with her. I lost her in May and i am missing that canine connection. I am responsible, dependable, and I have a flexible schedule and a calm home. I have a flexible schedule. I work full time but some of that is from home. When I am not, at home, my office is a 7 minute drive away. Well behaved dogs can come to my office me. I have a small home that is primarily one floor. It has a yard (not fenced). I do not have children or other pets. I live a quiet and calm life and I am able to attend to animals with full attention.

“David was such a great pal to my 8-month-old golden retriever, Stanley, who has the energy of a caffeinated toddler and the emotional eagerness of someone who thinks every head scratch might be their last. I got regular updates — photos of 5:30 a.m. tug-of-war, joyful dog park adventures, and one sneaky but proud toilet paper heist — which made being away for five days (our longest stretch yet!) so much easier. When I picked Stanley up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. Communication with David was smooth, direct, and quick, and he was super flexible. When Stanley saw me through the screen door at David’s place, he was wiggling with excitement — but also clearly torn to leave his new friends. I’d trust these two to hang out again anytime!”

About: I've always had a furry friend and love all dogs. I've helped train working service dogs and worked in a puppy nursery caring for dog moms and their litters. About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

About: I’m a young outdoors person who loves animals. Your animals needs will always be met with me. Whether it’s a younger dog who need lots of playing time and exercise, or an older pet who just needs loving, I will be perfect for the job. I’ve lived with animals in my house for my entire life. From Dobermans to Shih Tzus and turtles to fish. I have been house sitting for friends and neighbors for a while now with no issues. I’ve also done some dog training while my brother got his service dog. No matter what, your pets needs will be taken care of with me with love. I am a college student on winter break and would love to work a little bit over the break. Until January 20th, I am available 7 days a week and any times you need. The only times I will not be available is Christmas Eve/ Christmas Day. Other than that I have a very flexible schedule. I’ve got 2 older dogs (poodle and shih tzu) who are very friendly and love to play. I’ve got 2 different sized cages, small and large, for any type of dog you have. We do not have a fence in back yard but a large backyard to run around in with a leash and lovely neighborhood.

Debbie arrived on time and communicated with me and followed all of my little tips in a note I left for her. She was even able to switch up the arrival time on the second day as needed. Our pointer has to be crated and Debbie was able to easily access and secure the crate. The same dog is young and strong with a tendency to pull on walks and Debbie was easily able to walk both our dogs together and control them. I would definitely book Debbie again.”

“Karen and her daughter were amazing. I interviewed several people and found Karen to be super personable. I was worried about leaving my pup somewhere since we take him every where. I knew that a facility was not what I wanted and hoped to find a in home setting for him. After speaking to Karen and her daughter, I felt super comfortable with them. I realized they were an hour away but that didn’t matter. I drove up and felt extremely welcomed there when I walked in that door. Winston made himself right at home. I received lots of updates and pictures from Karen. Also, I got EVERYTHING BACK and was all organized as I left it. I am returning in a few weeks and have already booked with Karen again!”
“You guys, Michele is the one!! I couldn't have imagined a better person to care for my baby! She's so loving and so fun and a true kind soul. It's obvious that she truly loves these pups. My little guy had a great vacation with her! She took him out every day to super fun places and he had the time of his life! She went above and beyond to make sure my dog was happy and felt comfortable, even hand-feeding him his food when he didn't really want to eat. We're so thankful for her and can't wait to use her again!”
“Our Portuguese Water Dog had a great stay with Julie! We met ahead of time and she showed me her space and where the dogs play/sleep/eat, which helped ease my nerves about leaving him with someone new. She sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend. I would absolutely use Julie again in the future and recommend her to anyone in the area looked for pet care!”

“David was such a great pal to my 8-month-old golden retriever, Stanley, who has the energy of a caffeinated toddler and the emotional eagerness of someone who thinks every head scratch might be their last. I got regular updates — photos of 5:30 a.m. tug-of-war, joyful dog park adventures, and one sneaky but proud toilet paper heist — which made being away for five days (our longest stretch yet!) so much easier. When I picked Stanley up, he was calm, happy, and clearly well-loved. Communication with David was smooth, direct, and quick, and he was super flexible. When Stanley saw me through the screen door at David’s place, he was wiggling with excitement — but also clearly torn to leave his new friends. I’d trust these two to hang out again anytime!”
