“Caitlin was great! We booked because our family’s vacation rental did not allow pets. She was super attentive, quick to respond to texts, and very flexible with allowing us to pick up/drop off our 6-month old pup for day trips during the week. You can tell she really loves dogs and really cares about making sure her clients are happy. Both are so important when looking for someone to watch your precious baby! If you’re considering booking with Caitlin - just do it!”

“Our Portuguese Water Dog had a great stay with Julie! We met ahead of time and she showed me her space and where the dogs play/sleep/eat, which helped ease my nerves about leaving him with someone new. She sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend. I would absolutely use Julie again in the future and recommend her to anyone in the area looked for pet care!”

“Thank you so, so much again for the wonderful care! Our dog felt very comfortable and happy with you, and we had such a good feeling the entire time. “Stephen has been absolutely wonderful with my older dog, Billy. He is experienced, compassionate, and truly understands the special care and patience that senior dogs need. From the start, it was clear that he is attentive and thoughtful, always making sure Billy is comfortable and well cared for. His calm, caring manner gave me great peace of mind. I highly recommend Stephen to anyone looking for someone who genuinely understands and loves senior dogs.”

“Kellie is WONDERFUL! She took a chance on Mollie, our 3-year-old rescue Sheepadoodle, who would be staying in a new place for the first time without her older "sister" and guiding star, Sophy. We were worried Mollie's quirks would prove too much, but Kellie and her family proved us wrong. They believed in her, reinforced her confidence, and provided a loving temporary home. She thrived in their household the week we were away, and we still see the effects of her new-found confidence. We can't thank Kellie enough!”

“Cindi watched my dog Nora for 5 days !! Each night she would send me a detailed message about their day together , which always put my mind at ease . Nora came home happy and relaxed . I would highly recommend Cindi to anyone !!!”

“Our dog Rosco had a great time with Alyne! We were kept up to date on how Rosco was doing and sent many pictures. We were very happy with the service Alyne provided and will certainly use her again in the future!”

About: I have spent my entire life around dogs, but my professional experience sets me apart when it comes to reading and handling animals. For almost 3 years I worked as a Pet Care Specialist. I was responsible for the specialized daily care, behavioral monitoring, and medical treatment of all sorts of animals; birds, reptiles, small mammals, fish, etc. I am experienced and comfortable administering medication and recognizing signs of illness, in the case that you have a dog with specialized needs. Today, I work professionally as a dog groomer. Every day I work hands on with dogs of all sizes ages, and temperaments. Because of this, I have the experience and patience necessary to deal with anxiety prone dogs, high energy balls of chaos, puppies who haven't yet learned manners, and senior dogs who need gentle care. I'm confident I can meet your dogs needs, whatever they may be, and ensure their stay with me is as comfortable as possible. I'm also happy to provide my available grooming services if that's of any interest to you! I work 8 hour shifts at the grooming salon, and I am free on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, which gives me full, dedicated days to spend at home with your dog(s). For the days I am at work, a responsible family member will always be available at the house, to assist with potty breaks or just to hang out. Your pup will only ever be alone if they want to be. This allows me to provide boarding any day of the week! My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: Secure & Spacious Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. Socialization & Companionship: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and 2 cats who are well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to themselves. Separation When Needed: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. I am also fully able to accommodate crate-trained dogs if that's something they prefer. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap-dog type! As a professional pet handler, I promise to stay aware of your dog's body language and ensure they're recieving the best care possible. Their safety and peace of mind are my top priority.
“I’m so happy we found Karen, she takes such amazing care of our Goldie and sends us lots of updates. It definitely calms our anxiety (which is high!!) when we have to leave her! It’s also such a relief that Goldie has Juni to hang out with, such a sweet girl.”

“Could not have asked for a better boarding experience, dropping off/picking up and keeping in touch while I was away. Harriet’s farm is idyllic, and I’m confident my pup was well taken care of and had a great time while there. Thank you, Harriet!”

Right from her initial visit, I knew that I had hired someone who was not only professional & knowledgeable, but was also passionate about caring for animals! My cats & I highly recommend Chelsea to anyone looking for an outstanding pet sitter!”

“Skyla did great with our three cats. Typically our cat Hades can be shy around new people. However, he walked up to Skyla right away. She made our cats feel very comfortable and safe. She also sent pictures so we could see how they were doing.”

“Sarah did a great job watching Homer G! She watered plants, gathered up the mail, and even cleaned up around the house. I enjoyed getting pictures and reports of her visits. “My dog, Kiwi, had a fabulous visit with Andrea and Bob! They were extremely communicative and accommodating before our visit. They took care to learn Kiwi’s quirks, likes, and dislikes (she has a big personality, so there are a lot!). They even had toys and balls at their house for her to play with. It’s clear that they are experienced and intuitive dog caretakers, which is so important to me as a nervous dog mom. When I went to pick her up, Kiwi was all smiles and happy body language…I know she had a fabulous time and can’t wait to go back! Thank you, Andrea and Bob.”

“Chelsea watched our miniature schnauzer mix for a day and she was absolutely wonderful with him. She was very responsive and flexible, and made the whole process so easy. When we went to pick up our pup, he looked so content just sitting in her arms, and he NEVER sits still. We will call upon Chelsea again in the future, no hesitation!”

“It was our dog Milo’s first time in a day care and he had so much fun with Caitlin and family. I was so worried to leave him in a day care, but Caitlin constantly sent Milo’s pictures and videos Caitlin was also very accommodating because we had to board Milo at last minute.”

“Karen was fabulous! ❤️ She attended to our 2 dogs in our cottage for the 3 days we were celebrating our daughter’s wedding and visiting with guests at a different location. Our dog Buddy is difficult (chihuahua miniature pincher mix) and I was afraid no one would want to work with him. Karen was patient and kind and eventually got Buddy out for a walk to the beach.”

About: I have take care of animals for over 2 decades. Pups are my favorite and I also have chickens and volunteers with horses on a local farm. I respect nature and appreciate what great companions animals are for us humans. I treat them as family members. I had 3 dogs from puppies to their senior age and understand all stages of dog lives. I can play, socialize, train puppies. Walk fast pace with athletic dogs or slow down for littles or seniors. I can give medicine and keep an eye on health any conditions. I have 10yo son who is a huge dog lover and helps out with our dog and chickens and also does barn chores at the farm. I feel so blessed we both feel the same love for all creatures on Earth. I currently work from home, so your pup(s) will have a companion most of the time. I also go on 2-3 walks a day and we have a nice private yard for additional play and relax. We have a private yard, one friendly 2yo Boston terrier who has proven to be more than a gracious host to all sorts of furry visitors. He naturally accepts their energy if they want to play or are shy and need time. We also had some rescues and traumatized pets and Gizmo proved to a respectful companion. He is the reason I love pups and want them to have the most fantastic time in our home.
“Kellie was the perfect daycare sitter for Coco on a Friday afternoon! Cannot thank her and her family enough for being available and so loving to my dog. She had a great time and loved hanging out!”

“We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. “Abby was so amazing!!! I work long hours at the hospital and she not only picked my dog up from my apt but went above and beyond, taking my dog to the dog park and the beach! She sent multiple updates throughout the day. She was also easy to reach, very responsive, and friendly. I would highly recommend Abby to anyone needing a dog sitter.”

“Glenn and Kirsten were wonderful with our dog and super responsive with a last minute request for day care after our outside dog boarding plans on cape cod fell through. She had a great day, would recommend to anyone!”

About: Hi! We’re a dependable, dog-loving family offering in-home dog boarding and dog sitting on Cape Cod. If you’re looking for a safe, attentive, and comfortable home for your dog while you’re away, you’ve found it. We both work from home, so your dog will never be alone. We have a small, friendly Labradoodle who loves other dogs and is very used to sharing his space. Because of that, visiting dogs typically adjust quickly and feel right at home here. We’ve cared for many friends’ dogs over the years, including puppies, adult dogs, and seniors. We’re comfortable with different temperaments, energy levels, and routines, from active dogs who need lots of playtime and walks to more relaxed dogs who just want a calm, cozy environment. We have used pet sitters several times for our own travels, so we know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your beloved fur baby with a stranger. We will make your dog one of our family and give you regular updates, including photos. We know how important it is to trust who you leave your dog with. Our goal is simple: make your dog feel safe, happy, and cared for, so you can relax while you’re away. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to set up a meet & greet—we’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care fits very naturally into our daily routine because we both work from home full-time. This allows us to build our day around the dogs in our care rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. Our typical day includes morning potty breaks and walks, followed by a relaxed workday where dogs have plenty of supervision, companionship, and opportunities to go outside as needed. We take breaks throughout the day for playtime, short walks, and attention, depending on each dog’s energy level and routine. In the evenings, we usually incorporate longer walks, playtime, or wind-down time, making sure dogs are settled and comfortable before bedtime. Because dogs are part of our home environment, they’re included in our daily rhythm—not treated as an afterthought. On weekends, we’re generally home and maintain a similar routine, with even more flexibility for walks, outdoor time, and one-on-one attention. Overall, having dogs in our care is something we genuinely enjoy and prioritize, and our schedule allows us to provide consistent, attentive care throughout the day and week. We care for every dog as if they’re our own, with a focus on keeping their routine consistent, their environment safe, and making sure they feel comfortable and loved while you’re away. Before any stay, we take time to understand your dog’s daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any quirks or preferences—so we can mirror what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. In our home, dogs get: Plenty of supervision (we both work from home, so they’re rarely alone) Regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime based on their energy level A calm, safe environment with space to relax or socialize Lots of attention and affection throughout the day We’re also comfortable administering basic medications if needed and following any specific care instructions you provide.

About: A lifelong lover of animals of all kinds, I recently moved to the Cape with my 14 year old cat, Anya. I’ve had cats on and off my whole life, and for eleven wonderful years shared my life with a rabbit named Fiona. I have experience caring for special needs (Anya has IBD and Fiona was blind in her later years) and administering medications. I have enjoyed pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and am also a volunteer at a wildlife rescue where I help care for raptors, turtles, snakes, and an absolute queen of a porcupine. While I love dogs, I have less experience with them, so would be better fitted to smaller and/or calmer canines while I get some more experience under my belt. As an overprotective cat mom, I can assure you that I will care for your fur children as if they were my own, will follow your instructions to the letter, and will stay in communication with you so that you can enjoy your time away without worrying about your little ones. I’ve recently moved to the Cape and currently have lots of availability. I can currently not offer overnights, as I have my own fur child to care for, but would love to come for extended visits or walks! I will follow your instructions meticulously. I am used to caring for injured birds, so am extremely conscientious about making sure animals stay safe in their homes and on the leash.
“We were in need for a very last minute responsible, caring person to provide drop in and walks for our two dogs. Kellie responded immediately and based on your prompt response, communication and rave reviews, we hired her. She was responsive to my questions, very attentive to our two dogs and took extra special care of them due to the extreme heat. She sent pictures and comments and updated us frequently. Kellie is kind, attentive and an excellent caregiver. We will definitely be using Kellie’s services again and we strongly encourage you to as well!”

“Aliaksandra was lovely and incredibly helpful with walking my dog, Kona. She gave a detailed report of their walk with photos and her communication was great. She took such good care of my pup and I would recommend her to anyone.”

“Tracey was amazing. My dog is big and stubborn and she worked to understand how to get him on walks/in the car to quick park trips and kept me up to date on everything. I’m so appreciative she was able to get him out for me during these days and appreciate all her communication and patience!”

About: I am a very compassionate, enthusiastic person that absolutely loves dogs! I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! This is a huge peace of mind for many dogs and their owners- and my specialty catering to one dog - hence my pricing. Believe me it’s worth every penny! A bit about me- my family and friends have always say “I’m a dog whisperer”! I have always had dogs in my life, but I lost my best friend (yellow lab). She was my soulmate! I am now ready to enjoy and take care of your fur-baby or fur-babies as my own. I give one on one attention to your dog that you will not find anywhere! All the dogs do very well with me, and their owner’s have all said they’ve had a huge relief knowing their fur- babies are in good, loving hands with me! You will absolutely have a peace of mind!! I’m available for house sitting in their comfort of your home or vacation/summer home or boarding here at my home. I also do drop in visits with walks, play and company for your pet. I love going on adventures with trail hikes, beaches and exploring with your pups. I know dogs, and I know their needs. Dogs need social interactions, company and lots of attention just like we do as humans! Your dog(s) will always be my bestie too! I look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and your fur baby! I am home full time (early retired teacher) and have plenty of time to walk, play and cuddle with your pet! I’m available for your needs and your pet needs too! I have a great yard, deck to play and hang out together. I live in a quiet area that has great places for taking walks, hikes, beaches (when dogs are allowed during the year here), and adventures with your fur baby! People tell me it’s like doggie vacation camp when their dogs come stay with me!
About: I have my own golden doodle named Ollie who I have learned to take care of ever since I was eight years old. I love to walk, feed, bathe, and have fun with pets! I’m currently working part time, so I have a pretty flexible schedule! I have my own reliable transportation and am willing to travel to meet your pets! I am comfortable working with pets of all sizes. I can feed and provide comfort to pets. I hope to provide the best and most safe care I can!
“Elizabeth was fantastic! We felt guilty leaving our pup behind for our trip, but elizabeth provided updates and photos after every walk. She cared for our pup like it was her own! She even worked on commands and taught him a new trick while we were away :) would definitely use her again in the future!”

“While visiting Orleans on vacation, Marie walked my dog two afternoons. She took the time to meet with me and my dog a day before the walks. She took my dog for nice long walks and made sure she had food and water after the walks.”

“We hired Laurie to bale us out when we were in a situation, one with a broken leg the other with the darn upper respiratory virus. She was great. Very take charge, warm and friendly and our dog loved her. She gave good feedback about her walks and even helped catch our little sneak when she escaped our yard before her walk. I highlyrecommend Laurie!”

We especially appreciated the regular updates and photos — it was so nice to see how well everything was going. We will definitely book again very soon and can highly recommend this dogsitter!”

“Madaket was wonderful. I was sent pictures of my dog Shelby during my 2-week absence. I really appreciated that. It certainly looked like Shelby was enjoying herself. I would highly recommend Madaket as a dog sitter and plan to use her again!”

“Kari and her family took such great care of our dog, Bogey. Very proactive in communication and I felt completely at ease during my time away from my dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to trust them again with Bogey.”

“Clare is absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond in every way and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. It was clear she genuinely cares about the animals in her charge, and we came home to one very happy pup. We will 100% be booking with Clare again and cannot recommend her highly enough!”

“Marcia was wonderful; they made my pup feel like a member of the family! I got lots of updates so I didn't have to worry while I was away for work. Cane was having so much fun that I wasn't sure he'd want to come home!”

“Jenny took care of Ace within last minute need. She was amazing. Ace liked her from the moment he met her. She kept me in the loop about how Ace is doing and send pictures Proffesional and kind. Thanks Jenny See you in the summer.”

“Could not have asked for a better boarding experience, dropping off/picking up and keeping in touch while I was away. Harriet’s farm is idyllic, and I’m confident my pup was well taken care of and had a great time while there. Thank you, Harriet!”

“Jackie was awesome. It was a last minute booking and she was very easy to work with. I was nervous, as Sadie is only 5 months old, and it was the first time we had left her with anyone. Jackie was very knowledgeable about dogs and caring for them. Jackie sent me pictures and let me know how she was doing during her stay. I highly recommend booking with her.”
