About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. Currently I'm between more traditional 9-5 employment, so I have the time and space to give the care needed for the little (or big) ones. About: We are a trio (Riven, Matt, Jason) that have mostly work from home schedules. We have individual Rover verified profiles, and this one is Rivens. I have lived with cats, dogs, and animals of all sorts my whole life. After growing up on a farm and being a founding member of the local 4H Club, my love for animals continued to fostering through rescues, volunteering, and my own pets such as my now passed 17 year cat named Moya, whom I had had since she was a few months old. We around a lot of dogs over the course of the week, so we are unable to on any dogs that will not do well with others for more than an over night. If you have feline family, I am happy to play with crinkle balls, laser pointers, or be a lap as needed. For boarding, my Matt and Jason (also on Rover) and myself are home 95% of the day and can usually accommodate most pick up or drop off time, frequent potty breaks, and walks. About: I’ve taken care of cats for over 20 years, and have experience dog sitting for several households. I have dogsat for three dogs at a time for two separate households, either to take them on a walk and feed them or stay in their home for several days. I have also cared for kittens and puppies. I typically work remotely Mon, Tues, and Fri so those are the best days for me to pop over to visit, or stay the day(s) with your pet. I am always aware of where the animal is and if there are any safety hazards such as open doors or fences, items the pet shouldn’t get into, etc. I want the animal to feel comfortable around me so I will not force interaction but rather let them warm up to me especially if I am in their home. I like clear detailed instructions when needed so I know exactly what you expect and the right way to handle your pet since you know them the best!
About: I love dogs and have two of my own, one of which has a seizure disorder so I have experience with medication and health issues with dogs. I love spending my time with animals, especially cuddly ones!! I am a college student in Newton, MA currently. I am a full time college student so I am only available after classes (around 2 every day), but I do have a good amount of free time. I will walk, feed, play with and keep pets company in general. With my own dogs I have lots of time in the day to spend with and play with them. I have lots of experience in dealing with dogs who have seizures, and or need special attention and care. I also have experience in administering oral medication.

About: I've had numerous variety of pets my whole life, Worked in pet retail for a time, and genuinely feel I understand animals more than people sometimes. Currently I'm between more traditional 9-5 employment, so I have the time and space to give the care needed for the little (or big) ones. I am open to discussing the individual needs of every client, but the basics of walking, feeding, just plain old attention are well within my capacity.
