We have left our dog Annie with Karen many times, sometimes for just a night or two and sometimes for over a week when taking longer vacations. We cannot begin to say how much we and Annie will miss Karen and Juni. Karen is the kindest person you could ever meet. She loves dogs and immediately took Annie in as though her own. She is a dog whisperer. Annie loves her. She is truly a remarkable dog sitter and human being. We could always relax when we left Annie with her as we were totally confident in her ability to handle any situation that might arise as well as know she always was providing exceptional care and a happy and loving experience for our pup. As for Juni, Annie loved playing with her, sleeping next to her and just being with her whenever she would visit. Juni is the sweetest, most friendly and happy lab. Annie will miss her terribly. Annie would begin barking with excitement the moment we got off route 6 for Hyannis. This always made our hearts sing. Karen and Juni are simply exceptional. My wife, Annie, and I will forever miss them.”

About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs prior to having kids, in my early 20’s. Summer residents and Nantucket residents where we resided before relied on me to walk and dog sit their pets. I’m currently home full time with my two boys. My oldest will be going into kindergarten in the fall and my youngest will be going to daycare part time and be home home with me the majority so I’m available/flexible. I am responsible and very protective of my kids along with clients pets. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your pet for nice long walks during the days on leash.

While I don’t have a pet of my own at the moment, I grew up with Golden retrievers and have experience helping my family raise 3 puppies - our 4th golden is currently 8 years old :) I also have experience caring for elderly dogs with arthritis/limited mobility and incontinence. I work in a very central office so this usually still leaves plenty of time for a bathroom break/romp in the yard. I am available for drop-ins any time on the weekends. For walks, I am available 730am-9am in the morning and 5pm-dusk M-F, and all day Saturday + Sunday. Additional rates may apply for longer required driving distance. Please feel free to message me about a drop-in or walk you need on the weekend if the time slot isn’t showing up when you go to book - it seems like there are issues with setting separate availability for week days vs weekends. I will follow whatever rules you normally enforce (or don’t!) in your house when you are gone and I will stick to your pet’s feeding schedule so that their routine remains regular. Just let me know any special needs before departing. Nothing is too much trouble :)

We cannot begin to say how much we and Annie will miss Karen and Juni. Karen is the kindest person you could ever meet. She loves dogs and immediately took Annie in as though her own. She is a dog whisperer. Annie loves her. She is truly a remarkable dog sitter and human being. We could always relax when we left Annie with her as we were totally confident in her ability to handle any situation that might arise as well as know she always was providing exceptional care and a happy and loving experience for our pup. As for Juni, Annie loved playing with her, sleeping next to her and just being with her whenever she would visit. Juni is the sweetest, most friendly and happy lab. Annie will miss her terribly. Annie would begin barking with excitement the moment we got off route 6 for Hyannis. This always made our hearts sing. Karen and Juni are simply exceptional. My wife, Annie, and I will forever miss them.”
“Our Portuguese Water Dog had a great stay with Julie! We met ahead of time and she showed me her space and where the dogs play/sleep/eat, which helped ease my nerves about leaving him with someone new. She sent updates and pictures throughout the weekend. I would absolutely use Julie again in the future and recommend her to anyone in the area looked for pet care!”
“Madaket was fantastic, we arrived at the property and my dog Olympia started sprinting around with her dog Millie. The property was also very large, which gave Olympia plenty of room to enjoy herself. Madaket sent several pictures and videos throughout the day. There is nothing better than feeling confident that your dog doesn’t miss you because you know they are having such a good time ?! I’d be happy to leave Olympia there any time! Plus she gave Olympia a little blue bandana ?”
About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs prior to having kids, in my early 20’s. Summer residents and Nantucket residents where we resided before relied on me to walk and dog sit their pets. I’m currently home full time with my two boys. My oldest will be going into kindergarten in the fall and my youngest will be going to daycare part time and be home home with me the majority so I’m available/flexible. I am responsible and very protective of my kids along with clients pets. I do not have a fenced in yard but I would love to take your pet for nice long walks during the days on leash.
