About: I have been around animals ever since I was born, and started my first job petsitting in only 6th grade. About: I decided to try letting a husky pull me on roller blades 27 years ago, and a bond was created that I am convinced was the greatest thing ever. I became an aspiring writer and began researching dogs, playing with them and loving them all the same. I understood that some people just had that dog thing, but I wanted to know why. Still working on my writing, and still researching, I started roller blading around Webster lake with a rescue puppy this past year. I remembered the incredible joys that a dog would have discovering the freedom, and it's really incredible. I don't claim to be a dog whisperer, but I have learned from studying dog behaviors and personalities. Honey has been incredible this season. Some dogs would rather just sniff, and it's arguably the most incredible of dog traits. Sometimes finding the space to run can be a challenge, but even just on a walk, it's all about giving them the chance to choose when you can. I have been an educator as a substitute and a paraprofessional, and enjoyed 20 years with a number of schools and institutions. Coaching tennis, track, and rock climbing, I love giving new experiences. As director for an adventure camp or as recreation games coordinator, I was able to incorporate a team into all the fun. Relying on the service industry for work, I have developed my communication skills in many fields. 3 years working for the May Institute with adults with severe disabilities gained me a humility not found elsewhere. In the Healthcare industry I found incredible individuals who just fit their calling, and you were better for being around them. The last 2 years I have traveled the state as a licensed pest technician solving homeowner problems, and keeping people safe. I enjoyed being a source of information, and health, and was careful to appreciate coming into someone's home and life. I'm currently planning on returning to school to attain my message therapy certification and utilize my background in health. It's a good plan with modification, and I am hopeful that Amazon flexibility will help. I'm the kind of person who starts with a smile, and believes that kindness is always an option. “Justin is the best dog walker I’ve had for my little Gia. She is American Pitbull Terrior who is so playful happy and sweet he helps get her energy out during the day while I’m at work. She does pull a little on the leash but Justin is really good about working with her on not pulling and a plus, he teaches her cool little tricks!! I would def recommend him to walk your dog!!”
About: Hi, I’ve owned all types of animals my entire life like dogs, cats, bunnies and birds. I currently work at a pet resort, where I look after pets every day, making sure they’re happy, healthy, and loved. Whether it’s playtime, cuddle time, or feeding time. I treat every animal like my own. I’m also well trained in giving medications or any type of special care! I know how important your pets are, and I’m here to give them the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I currently work at a pet resort where I work all types of hours, from Tuesday-Saturday. I can work anywhere from 6AM-6PM but I’m very flexible with fitting you and your pups into my schedule! Since I have so much experience with animals, I’m okay with helping out with almost anything you need for your pets! Whether it’s cleaning, potty breaks, playing, feeding, medications. I’d love to just spend some time with your pet and be their friend! I do not take pets to my home as I have reactive animals, but I’m always okay with commuting to yours!

Currently I am available week days and weekends, I have a reliable vehicle to either stop in or stay full days/nights while your pets stay in the comfort of their own homes. I do work 8 am - 4pm Monday through Friday. So I can visit before and after work or stay over and be there before and after. I care for my own pets the best I know how, along with giving them lots of love and cuddles. I have worked with healthy pets but also ones that need a little extra TLC, whether that is medication, extra time for introductions to make them feel comfortable, or special diets. I am willing to listen and follow any and all instructions on how to care for your pet. I want you to feel comfortable and confident with who is caring for your pet and how. I understand that your pet is your child and being apart from them can be very difficult.

We were so anxious over having to leave him with someone as he has had a tough time already in life with being born in a street in Texas, then having to stay in a shelter in a pen for almost three months to then being brought to Tennessee to a shelter where he was adopted by us. Then he had to take a long Trek to Connecticut in a semi trailer with 150 other dogs crated the whole trip where we picked him up. He is very anxious and not use to other people or animals. I must say Kyla was super great with Franklin. She did everything we had asked even down to the insane feeding ways we have. We left a long list with Kyla as if we were leaving a human child and she fulfilled each and every one and then some. She is a very caring, kind and loving animal sitter. Her house is super clean and a great environment for any pet. Her children are just the cutest and very helpful with the animals. They love animals and are very gentle with them which was so cute to see. Kyla was super great about sending daily pictures and updates to us about Franklin. She keeps things very professional and I will certainly recommend her to anyone who wants a home away from home for there pet while they vacation or work.
