After our first meeting, I knew that I had made the best choice for Wally and for me. Debra always takes the time for a meet and greet prior to drop off so that our boy had the opportunity to meet her and her dogs, who are all very well behaved and welcoming. You can tell that Debra loves working with dogs and takes her responsibility very seriously. She has a lovely large home and huge fenced in back yard that the dogs can access via a dog door. About: Hi! I am a senior at Barnard with a light semester of workload, looking to make some extra cash. I have taken care of dogs, cats, bunnies, and chickens my whole life (big pet family). I have dog-walked/cat sat for multiple different clients, and also am more than willing to just hang with a pet if they have anxiety! I normally feed twice a day and play with for a total of 1 1/2 to 2 hours, either intermittently or all at once in one sitting. I can feed as many times a day as needed and walk/play with as much as needed. Will have a pretty flexible schedule this semester.

About: Hi! I’m a washashore with a lifetime of dog experience. I specialize in large dogs but still love my lil barkers. I own 2 floofs Briar (the Newf) and Chloe (the midget newf) I have some grooming experience and would certainly throw in a bath if need be. We love walks, videos of our adventures (so we can send them to non furry family), and lots of brushing and belly rubs. I will do off leash walks in safe environments and will do leash walks in town to socialize and get an occasional “frosty paw.” I am still on my journey to be a full time dog groomer and my biggest concern is for the animal to be happy and comfortable. I currently work part time for my husband’s tour business so this keeps me busy when I am not selling tour tickets and admin work I have a fenced in yard so if the dog park seems a little too busy or your pup jest needs to burn some energy they have a full acre to do so.

About: I love dogs and grew up with them! I have 2+ years doing long term dog sitting for the same family. I watched them for around 20 days each month. I loved their dogs like my own! Your dogs will get walks, play, get cuddles, etc. I am also used to working around specific quarks. For example, dogs who eat rocks may require a face mask for walks, dogs with sensitive stomachs, etc. I set alarms for their meals and keep a consistent walk/play routine. I feel responsible for their safety too, so if they play with dogs who are too rough, I will move along. Their happiness and comfort is literally my job!

About: I have a senior cat with a serious digestive and heart condition, so I’m certainly used to giving pets their proper medications, feeding at specific times, or just generally giving them the love and attention they need! I grew up with dogs, and have pet sat for friends, family and clients for years. I feel more than comfortable feeding, walking or staying with pups of any breed or size. I’ve been a sitter on Trusted Housesitters for years and have been lucky enough to let sit as far away as Berlin! I’d love the opportunity to take great care of your pets while you’re away! I have a super flexible schedule with work and can generally accommodate most days/times. I live on Martha’s Vineyard and can travel most anywhere on island to sit. My fiancé and I are more than happy to accommodate any and all let needs. With our senior cat experience, and lots of daily and overnight sitting experience, we always treat animals with kindness, patience and respect. About: I adore dogs and have been a consistent pet and home sitter for several families on Martha’s Vineyard over the last 8 years. I am tidy, responsible, and take care of pets as if they were my own. I love to take daily long walks (3-5 miles) and the companionship of a dog makes this personal routine so much more fun. In my day to day life I am a licensed and trained paramedic which has helped me better harness the patience and understanding often required when helping animals and their families. For those of you that have pets with boundless energy, I go for a minimum 5 mile walk daily that could only be made better by the accompaniment of your four legged family member. I look forward to meeting you and your perfect pets! I currently work part time as a paramedic which allows for a lot of freedom and flexibility in my schedule to help you and your pet. As I will be watching your pet in the comfort of your home- I will always want to know what helps them adjust to change best in your absence. How can I make them, and you, feel more comfortable? “We had an excellent experience with Debra. Our 9 year old cockapoo had never been boarded outside of family, and I was a little apprehensive about leaving him with someone I didn’t know. After our first meeting, I knew that I had made the best choice for Wally and for me. Debra always takes the time for a meet and greet prior to drop off so that our boy had the opportunity to meet her and her dogs, who are all very well behaved and welcoming. You can tell that Debra loves working with dogs and takes her responsibility very seriously. She has a lovely large home and huge fenced in back yard that the dogs can access via a dog door. Debra had great communication and was flexible with drop off and pickup times. She kept me updated with some photos so that I could relax and enjoy my sons wedding.
