About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. Dogs are loved around here and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.
About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: I have two cats and grew up with dogs. Love caring for fur babies and everything in between. I have been a cat mom for 4 years now. Love my two cats. I work full time Monday-Friday 9-5 and full time availability on weekends. Also have flexibility during the week. Excited to get started and work with your fur bub! I am very attentive and loving. About: I have been around animals ever since I was born, and started my first job petsitting in only 6th grade. I have worked with a variety of animals ranging from dogs and cats, to ducks, to chinchillas, to horses! I’ve always felt like I have a strong connection with animals, and see my own animals as children. I am also happy to accommodate same day bookings whenever possible! I firmly believe that a consistent routine for an animal is key to keeping them comfortable, especially if you are to leave. I would follow the owners daily routine to help keep your animals calmer. If they are crate trained I can put them in their crate, watch them in the yard, take them on walks, play with them, and cuddle at the end of the day. I strongly believe in the saying “leave it better than you found it”, which I intend to do in your home!

About: I have been pet sitting and babysitting around and with pets since I was a kid! Being around animals is genuinely calming and gives me true joy! I have the patience to raise kittens and puppies of my own as well as watching over other's kittens too. I work part time and would love to spend more of my free time with animals of all kinds. I have four pets of mine at home and have daily chores for upkeep and dedicate quality time with them every day. I have adventurous dogs who love to find a way to escape the yard and understand the importance of keeping a close eye on them constantly. About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life and I am a huge animal person. I've taken care of dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I love getting to know new pets and their unique personalities! I work during the evenings from 2:45-11pm so I have time during the mornings and afternoons. My days off are Friday and Saturday so I have more availability then. (Does your dog take a while to do business outside? Does he or she squat several times? How long can he or she go without potty breaks? Do we have a runner?) Bring your pup, I'll bring the love and care! P.S. Please bring a crate for your dog if in the past, your dog has gotten into things and chewed. Many dog owners find themselves surprised that their dogs may exhibit destructive behavior at a sitter's house that they do not exhibit at home, like chewing and tearing things up. Your dog, in this case, will only be crated while we are out of the house. My husband works full-time, while I am home intermittently. But your baby will get lots of attention. During the weekdays, the house sits empty anywhere 3-5hrs. Your pet must be OK with that. I grew up with dogs: Scottish Terrier, Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Dachshunds, Chinese Crested, and Silky Terriers are the dogs my family members have owned and loved in my lifetime. I have no dogs of my own (anymore), but two little girls who just love and crave a dog in the house. If your dog is a no-no on little kids, this will not be a good fit for you.

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters.
