“If I could give more stars, I would! Shatane and her family are truly wonderful people. They treated Ziggy and me with respect and showed Ziggy love and attention every day during his 3-day stay this week. I would definitely recommend Shatane—excellent communication, with plenty of updates, pictures, and videos.”

“I couldn’t be happier with the care my dogs received! This family truly love animals and treat them like family. “Seonmin was a wonderful dog sitter! She sent updates often, gave Winnie a lot of exercise and was always quick to reply to my crazy dog mom check ins :) I highly recommend her! (And her dog Sam is a sweetheart!)”
“Millie absolutely loved her time with Larisa and Daisy! Larisa made sure to keep me updated on their daily adventures and send lots of pictures. Millie took multiple trips to the beach and walks at the bogs. We are very happy with the service and support Millie received while staying the weekend 😊 We will definitely reach out again for any pet sitting needs!”

“Kelsie did an amazing job taking care of Tucker last weekend! He came home happy, relaxed, and pleasantly tired which is always a great sign that he got plenty of attention, exercise, and care. I would absolutely recommend Kelsie and would love to have her watch Tucker again in the future!”

“This was our second time with Lora and it was even better than the first time! My 14 1/2 yr. old sweetie seemed to have returned to her younger self when I picked her up after this daytime stay with Lora. She was perky, wagging, and walking around like she owned the place! We can't wait till our next visit!”

“Sarah took our pup for a week while my family went on vacation. She was wonderful with daily updates and photos (great communication). Will definitely be using her again. Our pup was happy and comfortable”

“This was Cosmo’s second stay at Jaime’s place, and this time it was for more than 10 days. We were completely at peace knowing he was comfortable and well cared for, especially with Luna by his side. Jaime already knew Cosmo’s routine and took care of everything so thoughtfully. We kept receiving regular updates with pictures and videos, which made us so happy. Surprisingly, Cosmo never even used his crate during the stay — a clear sign that he truly felt at home. Luna is definitely his best buddy! We had absolutely no worries knowing Cosmo was in such good hands, and we’ll surely be reaching out to Jaime for many more stays.”

“Eileen is the best, she helped us out on short notice watching our dog on our wedding night and he loved her! She’s so nice and great at her job, we would definitely recommend her to everyone!”

“Endy did a great job watching our dog while we were away. She kept us up to date each day with comments and pictures of our dog. Many of the pictures showed our dog engaged in play with Endy's children. When we picked up our dog, everything was ready for us to load into the car and then say our goodbyes. We would not hesitate to use Endy as a sitter in the future.”

“Caesar had a blast!! We boarded him for 5 days while we were on vacation & seems like Caesar had his own vacation at Shannon's! We got so many pictures of him playing his heart out & looking very happy. Shannon was very communicative & trustworthy. We would definitely recommend Shannon's place for your doggies.”

About: I have had a cat since I was a very young child and I have been around many cats since then. I love cats and appreciate their beauty, intelligence, and delicacy. I have two years of animal shelter experience much of which was spent working with cats.
About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am currently working full time at VCA Animal Hospital where I can do Sat, Sun and Mon anytime. I am open to doing drop ins and walks. It would really help potentially putting me in a position for veterinary school! I take care of your pets like they are my own. I think every one has their own needs and personality, there is no "one size fits all" for any animal. I try to learn your pet on an individual level!

About: I’ve had a love for cats ever since I was a young girl. I’ve taken care of cats for my friends and family countless times and have made sure that their pets are safe, cared for, loved, and missing me by the time I leave.
“We cannot recommend Nicole highly enough! She took incredible care of our cats, Gizmo and Saphira, over the holidays while we were traveling, and we had complete peace of mind the entire time. Nicole is thoughtful, attentive, and truly goes above and beyond. Her daily visit notes were detailed and reassuring. She kept us updated on everything from feeding, cleaning, and litter and pee pad changes to brushing, playtime, and each cat’s mood and personality. It was clear she really took the time to understand both Gizmo and Saphira as individuals, giving Gizmo plenty of affection and brushing while respecting Saphira’s shyer nature and letting her warm up at her own pace. She didn’t just complete the basics. She made sure everything in the house was in order, cleaned trays and food containers, checked that everything was working properly, played with their favorite toys, and always made sure the lights were off and the door was locked before leaving. The love and care she showed truly made a difference, and it was obvious our cats were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Coming home to relaxed, content cats was the best feeling, and we’re so grateful to have found someone as reliable, kind, and communicative as Nicole. We would absolutely book her again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional cat sitter! 🐾💙”

“Rebecca super communicative and professional and it was clear our cats were well taken care of while we were away. We felt totally at ease knowing they were in such good hands ❤️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. Currently in my house, we have 3 dogs and 2 cats that I help take care of. I have been on Rover for about 6 years. I am an elementary teacher and high school girls basketball coach. I am currently on summer break since I am an elementary teacher. This means that I have a lot of free time because I am not working anywhere else. I am a very active person, so I love playing with all dogs and taking them on nice, long walks. I have also been around dogs and cats my whole life, so I love spending time with all animals.

About: (PLEASE review my photos and read through my profile to ensure I’m a good fit for your dog, we want to keep everyone safe!) I offer boarding and daycare with pick-up and drop-off services Monday through Friday. With over 15 years of experience working with dogs, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs. I started by helping family and friends, then volunteered at a local shelter, and today, I work full-time as a dog walker and sitter — and I wouldn’t have it any other way! I’m committed to going above and beyond to meet each dog’s individual needs, no matter how big or small. I want every dog in my care to live their best life! I know how important it is to maintain a dog’s routine and to never cut corners, especially when working on behavioral issues. I look forward to meeting your dog and supporting them on their journey! Safety and Fun Are My Priorities Over the years, I’ve learned a few key things that help keep the environment safe and fun for everyone: • I require a meet-and-greet before any boarding stay, which includes a day of daycare. This allows me to see if your dog is a good fit, gives them a chance to meet the other dogs, and helps them feel comfortable and familiar before their stay. • At mealtime, I feed all dogs individually to avoid food aggression and to ensure each dog stays on their specific diet. • For dogs requiring medication, I administer it privately and carefully, to ensure it’s properly taken and to prevent any accidental exposure to other dogs. • I do not allow toys, bones, or personal beds from home during a stay. This helps prevent any territorial behavior or conflicts. Rest assured, I have plenty of comfortable bedding, engaging toys, and safe chews to keep your pup happy and entertained while they’re here! I can’t wait to welcome your dog into my pack and help them thrive! Daily Schedule: • 6:30 a.m.: Wake-up/morning bathroom break • 8:00a.m -9:00a.m.: Breakfast •. 9:00 a.m.-Morning daycare pick-ups (Monday–Friday) • 10:30a.m. – 12:00 p.m.: Playtime in the yard, with breaks as needed • 12:00 p.m.: Lunch • 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: Quiet time/rest • 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.: Afternoon playtime in the yard, with breaks as needed • 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.: Afternoon daycare drop-offs (Monday–Friday) • 6:00 p.m.: Evening bathroom break • 6:15 p.m.: Dinner • 7:15 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Evening play session • 8:00 p.m.: Relaxation and quiet time • 9:30–10:00 p.m.: Final bathroom break and bedtime I have three separate fenced-in yards to keep things fun and engaging for the dogs, giving them plenty of space to run, play, and explore. There are multiple crates available for individual feeding or for dogs who might be a little too curious and like to explore things they shouldn’t. I also have my yard treated for ticks and mosquitoes every month to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for everyone. And that’s just the beginning! I provide a wide variety of toys and enrichment activities to keep the dogs mentally and physically stimulated. We do sensory games, have food puzzles to challenge their minds, and even offer quiet, cozy spots for rest and relaxation. Whether your dog loves to play, learn, or just lounge in the sun, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy!

About: As someone who has been a life long cat owner I am dedicated to providing exceptional cat care with a focus on love, attention, and playtime. Let me be your cat's favorite companion while you're away!

Perfect for high energy dogs - North Pembroke
Prices are estimates per day for 1 dog. Pricing may vary based on your search and includes a booking fee of 11%.
About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I can’t wait to give them the care they deserve while you’re away. I am a mom of two young children and currently at home with them and our rescue dog. I said goodbye to my senior golden last year and have missed having that extra companion. I have plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, and lots of time to devote to your dog. I have a dog-safe, child-proof home. My yard is partially fenced, and I also have an electric fence available for dogs trained to use one (my dog does not use it). My house is located in a quiet, wonderful neighborhood with sidewalks and low-traffic roads—perfect for safe, enjoyable walks.
“Bonnie, our Black Lab, had a great first visit. The big backyard was perfect. Bonnie got to do a lot of running with Eileen's dogs. We were late picking up Bonnie and Eileen was very accommodating. Mike”

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life and love spending time with them. I’ve cared for my own pets for years, including raising and training my current dog, who is now four years old. I’m experienced with daily routines like feeding, walks, playtime, administering medications if applicable, and I always treat animals with love and respect. While most of my experience is personal, I bring a reliable and caring approach to every pet as if they were my own! I work from home four days a week, and I am usually local on weekends, so my schedule is flexible. I’m home throughout the day and can provide potty breaks when needed and playtime during lunch hour and in the evenings. My schedule makes it easy to pop by during lunch or evenings to check in, feed, and give some love and attention as needed. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family. About: I have been in the caring business since my teenage years - babysitting my younger siblings, caring for my family dog, running a summer enrichment program for at risk youth, caring for horses at a dude ranch and a western suburbs farm, minding many friends' dogs, and wrangling my own two senior dogs - brother and sister, now 14 years old. (But, so rambunctious for their first 10+ years). I love dogs and will care for your dog just as you would. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I know how stressful it can be to ensure a routine is kept. Pet first aid and CPR certified. I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

About: Finding someone you trust with your pet is a big decision, so I focus on providing safe, reliable, and compassionate care every time. I’ve spent over 10 years working with animals in a variety of professional settings, including as a dog groomer, and at an animal hospital. Those experiences have taught me how to safely handle dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels, while also recognizing when something doesn’t seem quite right. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers to stop and sniff every tree, or just needs a little extra patience, I’ll make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and treated like one of my own. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to get to know what makes yours happiest. I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and believe communication is just as important as great pet care. You can expect plenty of updates and photos from me! I know our pets are family, and my goal is to make every walk a positive, stress-free experience for both you and your dog. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged best friend! I’m currently a full-time student, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. Since my classes are planned in advance, I can easily work around them to provide reliable walks and visits. I enjoy being active, so spending time with dogs fits naturally into my routine. Whether your pet needs a midday walk, an evening outing, or care while you’re at work, I’m happy to work with you to find a schedule that meets your needs. Your dog’s safety will always be my top priority. With over 10 years of experience, I’m comfortable handling dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’ll use safe leash-handling practices, stay aware of our surroundings, and always treat your dog with patience and care. I’ll also keep you updated after each walk, so you can feel confident your pup is in good hands.

About: Dogs have been a big part of my life forever. I have a Golden Retriever named Mabel, who I’ve raised since my sophomore year of college, so I understand the daily care, patience, and attention that every dog deserves. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I regularly walked dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. That experience taught me how to confidently handle energetic dogs, shy dogs, and those who need a little extra patience. I’m active, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. Whether your dog needs a long walk, plenty of playtime, or just someone to keep them company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I treat every pet like they’re my own and will keep you updated with photos and messages so you always know how they’re doing. I work remotely, which gives me the flexibility to provide attentive care throughout the day, including walks, playtime, feeding, and companionship. While I do travel for work about 30% of the time, I keep my Rover calendar up to date and only accept bookings when I know I can give your pet my full attention. When I’m available, you can count on reliable, responsive care and plenty of updates so you have peace of mind while you’re away. I provide care exclusively in my clients’ homes so your pet can stay comfortable in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow all care instructions, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, crate routines, and any special requests. My goal is to make your time away as stress-free as possible for both you and your pet. I’m respectful of your home, keep everything clean and secure, and treat your space with the same care I would my own. You’ll also receive regular photo and text updates, so you’ll always know your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
About: I have loved every dog I’ve ever met, no matter what they were like. My love for dogs is endless, I have owned multiple in my life and have taken care of many pets from friends and family. I’m also someone who loves to walk, no matter the weather. I would never pass up the opportunity! I would be a perfect fit for your dog 🐶!!! I am currently a college student on winter break, so my schedule is pretty open! I do have a dog of my own to take care of, but other than that I will be very likely to be able to help out you and your dog! I am not currently able to care for any pet at my own home, but I am completely able to go to your home and take care of your dog there! I am super open to whatever needs your dog may have or whatever may be happening at your home. No matter what, I’ll make sure your dog is safe and cared for!
About: I’m a reliable, patient caregiver experienced with puppies, seniors, and shy dogs. I focus on safe walks, positive routines, and attentive care tailored to each dog’s needs. I have a flexible weekly schedule, so I can reliably fit dog walks into my day. I’m available for morning, midday, and early afternoon walks throughout the week. I care for pets the same way I’d want someone to care for mine—safely, gently, and with full attention. I follow all instructions and keep your home tidy.
“Rebecca was very reliable and punctual with her services and with her communication. We were away in another country but felt completely assured that our dog was in good hands. She wad so caring and knowledgeable with our dog. We would definitely use her again and highly recommend her!”

About: I been around dogs since I was 12 years old and have been dogsitting for 2 years now! I have experience with many breeds of all sizes. I would love to spend some quality time with your pup! I am very active; I love walks, hikes, and just being outside. I am up early in the morning and home most of the day. I have a large yard, and though it is not fenced in, pets will always be leashed and supervised. I have a quiet neighborhood behind my home and many parks nearby for some great walks. My favorite part of dogsitting is spending time with them, so we’ll be together pretty much 24/7!
About: I love animals! All shapes and sizes, but have a weak spot for the pups! I’ve always been around dogs, mostly German Shepherds but now have a teeny dachshund who is the sweetest! I am comfortable with dogs of all ages and breeds and enjoy giving them walks, treats, or just cuddles. I hate leaving my fur babies behind when I have to go away so I know first hand how important it is to find someone reliable and trustworthy! I search high and low for quality care and I would expect you do too. I have many years experience and would love to spend time with your fur baby if you can’t be there....whether it’s a quick walk, daycare, or boarding. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you!
