“This was Cosmo’s second stay at Jaime’s place, and this time it was for more than 10 days. We were completely at peace knowing he was comfortable and well cared for, especially with Luna by his side. Jaime already knew Cosmo’s routine and took care of everything so thoughtfully. We kept receiving regular updates with pictures and videos, which made us so happy. Surprisingly, Cosmo never even used his crate during the stay — a clear sign that he truly felt at home. About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am currently working full time at VCA Animal Hospital where I can do Sat, Sun and Mon anytime. I am open to doing drop ins and walks. She kept us updated on everything from feeding, cleaning, and litter and pee pad changes to brushing, playtime, and each cat’s mood and personality. It was clear she really took the time to understand both Gizmo and Saphira as individuals, giving Gizmo plenty of affection and brushing while respecting Saphira’s shyer nature and letting her warm up at her own pace. She didn’t just complete the basics. She made sure everything in the house was in order, cleaned trays and food containers, checked that everything was working properly, played with their favorite toys, and always made sure the lights were off and the door was locked before leaving. The love and care she showed truly made a difference, and it was obvious our cats were comfortable, happy, and well cared for. Coming home to relaxed, content cats was the best feeling, and we’re so grateful to have found someone as reliable, kind, and communicative as Nicole. About: I’ve been a lifelong dog lover who grew up begging for a dog. After college, I brought home my first dog—a golden retriever who was the center of my world. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all kinds: high-energy, troublemakers, dogs with medical needs, seniors, and everything in between. I’m comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines, and I truly enjoy getting to know what makes each dog unique. After meeting my husband, we added a rescue to our household and regularly help care for and babysit dogs for family and friends. After saying goodbye to my beloved Golden, our house has felt a little empty. While we’re not ready to add another full time dog, we love welcoming an extra companion to our home for short term stays! Your dog’s safety, happiness, and comfort are always my top priorities, and I can’t wait to give them the care they deserve while you’re away. I am a mom of two young children and currently at home with them and our rescue dog. I said goodbye to my senior golden last year and have missed having that extra companion. I have plenty of space both indoors and outdoors, and lots of time to devote to your dog. I have a dog-safe, child-proof home. My yard is partially fenced, and I also have an electric fence available for dogs trained to use one (my dog does not use it). I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.
