“Outstanding experience with Pat. I had her stay at the house and watch the dog. It is the first time I’ve done that. It was a game changer. In no small part due to the care and precaution Pat took. She came by in advance to get to know my dog and how the house worked. She asked all the right detailed questions. Things I hadn’t thought of! And then at time of transition, she ran through and tested that everything worked as she thought. Pat kept me informed both days. Made me aware of anything of concern. Inn this case GI distress on one of his walks which is not uncommon for Marvel on first day of someone new. But I sure was pleased she let me know and she let me know that it cleared by a later walk. Pat seemed unflappable, capable and careful. My dog liked her a lot as some of the pictures we of my dog having a great time. Plus he was great when I returned as was the house and plants. I will definitely book Pat again. .”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

Knowing we needed a sitter before even bringing our puppy home, I turned to Rover and found Dawn—and I’m so glad I did. About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! I have a highly energetic dog, so we take several walks during the day and then I take her to nearby parks with trails after work. I'm available for boarding during the week and on weekends. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and a very sweet dog to keep your fir baby company! About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, and horses for as long as I remember. I also volunteered at an animal shelter for a few years. Any family pets we've had (cats, dogs, and horses) have lived all the way up to their senior years (and even passed the "intended age range" of their breed). I'm working full time from Wednesday to Saturday 1 pm to 11:30 pm. But I'm available Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. If it's just to walk your pet or drop in, I can come over before work. I try to fit in as much time with my animals as I can. Taking my dog for a walk, groom my familys horses, and even cuddle with my cats. I can make some exceptions with house sitting and drop ins. HOUSE SITTING: I'll gladly accept! If i am in college as well, I'll bring my laptop to work on homework. DROP INS: I will come in before work to feed/walk them and I can come in after work for a check up. If your yard is fenced in, I will gladly sit outside with your pet. Maybe even take a book with me so your dog can stretch their legs, play for a little bit and get some fresh air for a while. I will treat your dogs and cats like their my own and give them as much care as I can along with play times.

“Becca was amazing! This was the first time we left our big old dog home when traveling. He's getting older and, during our last trip, showed some separation anxiety when we would go out for the day. Between that and a longer drive than he's used to, we figured he would be happier at home with his Auntie taking care of him. Becca came everyday for a walk, making things easier on Auntie and giving our social guy more humans to interact with, lol. Becca sent great updates and photos all week! We could genuinely see them bonding as the week progressed. I'm naturally calm, dependable, and attentive to each pet's individual personality and routine. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply quiet companionship, I adapt my care to what makes them happiest. My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable while you're away. As someone who works for myself, I have the flexibility to provide reliable daytime care and give each visit my full attention. I'll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your pet is in caring hands. I treat every pet as if they were one of my own. I work for myself, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide dependable, personalized care for your pets. I'm available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM for walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, medication, and companionship. I always do my best to be punctual, reliable, and accommodate your pet's routine. Your pet's comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I believe pets feel most secure when their normal routine is maintained, so I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and any special needs. I'll care for your home with the same respect I would my own, provide regular updates with photos, and treat every pet like a member of my own family.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and I love animals in general. I am patient, experienced, caring and gentle, Rocky Kanaka is someone I look up to. My top priority is making sure your baby feels safe and cared for as though I am family too. I would love to get to know your baby I am available on weekends primarily. I can be available for visits and care from 12-2 Monday thru Friday provided there's no scheduling conflicts. I can take extra time or increase my availability during the week with advanced notice. I carefully follow any instructions left for me, and having had experience caring for my boy, I know keeping your baby safe is the most important part of care that I provide. I am careful to keep an eye on any animal I care for to make sure they don't have the opportunity to run outside off leash
About: I’m a very responsible and loving pet owner. Have rescued many pets and now have found myself with some free time and would love to help new pets and people! With notice, I am completely free on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays. (Monday, Tuesday & Friday I can be available for a few hours in the am) I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space to play and a kiddie pool to cool off in! I have three very friendly doggos myself but plenty of space so they can be kept separate if you desire.
About: I am very open in my schedule and absolutely love dogs. I have grown up with at least one dog in my home my whole life and now own my own black lab mix. To me, pets are family! I have been a nanny for many years and all of the families have also had dogs that I would take care of simultaneously. I also worked for a few families to care for their dogs in the past assisting with feedings, play time, and walks. I have some experience training using a clicker as I have trained my own dog and know of little tricks. Dogs brighten up my day and I love being around them whenever I can. I am always accepting new clients and am working on becoming a certified dog trainer. I am currently pet sitting full time, so my schedule is very open depending on my bookings. I have current dog walks mid-day Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri and those are my only repeat clients weekly. I offer caring for pets in my client’s homes and always make sure to ask about fenced in yards, typical behaviors of the dog, any behaviors I need to watch out for for instance if a dog resource guards or is aggressive with other dogs or people, allergies, and any other precautions I need to be aware of to safely, effectively, and empathetically to take care of the animal. I also only do walks on sidewalks or non busy roads when possible.
About: Ive taken care of animals my entire life. I am patient which is needed when it comes to animals. I have a passion for fur babies. I will treat your pets as my own. I work fulltime Monday to Friday (remote) but I am free after 5. I am available any time on weekends. I may have flexibility during the weekdays. About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life since I was a little tike. Started with a beagle that I couldn’t get enough of. When I became older i adopted a red nose pittie named boo-boo and a few months later another named Meika. They were my best buds. After their passing I got into providing over night stays for my fur nephew cooper and a family friend whom has four German Shepard’s two horses a cat and dog. I was loving it! Later on I got a job in the four legged field walking dogs, play groups and providing simple behavioral training/commands with positive redirection. I recently adopted a puppy named Orion who is three months old. I really have a passion for animals and enjoy what I do. My services provided are walks with basic commands/training during those walks. If your away I can stay! Boarding can be hard and stressful for your pet. I do over night care so your fur baby can stay in the comfort of their home.
About: I am a lifelong animal lover, and have owned dogs, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, hamsters and mice. Currently I own 2 cats with my partner named Rebel and Scout. Growing up my family dogs have included lhasa apsos, dandie dinmont terriers, a german shepherd, and a golden lab. I have experience sitting all types of dogs so whether you have a small medium or large dog, i am comfortable with all sizes. I also was an American Kennel Club junior handler for five years and during that time I showed my lhasa apsos. I have assisted with 4 four litters of lhasa puppies and am experienced with house training, puppy training, care etc. If you have any other questions I would be happy to answer them and look forward to the opportunity to become a friend to your precious pets! :) I am currently a homemaker, and am fortunate to have some flexibility! Just let me know the times/days you need. M-F preferred weekends are negotiable! My preference is to take care of pets at clients home. It is difficult to have other animals inside with the cats however I do have a fenced in area in my yard I can offer for them to be in!

“Outstanding experience with Pat. I had her stay at the house and watch the dog. It is the first time I’ve done that. It was a game changer. In no small part due to the care and precaution Pat took. She came by in advance to get to know my dog and how the house worked. She asked all the right detailed questions. Things I hadn’t thought of! And then at time of transition, she ran through and tested that everything worked as she thought. Pat kept me informed both days. Made me aware of anything of concern. Inn this case GI distress on one of his walks which is not uncommon for Marvel on first day of someone new. But I sure was pleased she let me know and she let me know that it cleared by a later walk. Pat seemed unflappable, capable and careful. My dog liked her a lot as some of the pictures we of my dog having a great time. Plus he was great when I returned as was the house and plants. I will definitely book Pat again. .”
