About: Hello! My name is Andie and I work at VCA South Shore Hospital in ER, ICU, Neurology and Internal Medicine as a technician assistant and have prior TA experience at Old Derby Animal Hospital. I recently graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I previously went to the University of Arizona for 3 years studying animal sciences and transferred my junior year to return to the East Coast. I also have some experience with a handful of farm animals from my time at the UofA. Additionally some of my experience comes from working on home farms taking care of horses and alpacas; all of this meaning my knowledge of animals is extensive to give the best care for your furry friends! I have always had the passion for animal care and medicine which is why after graduating I will be continuing my schooling to be a CVT and hopefully someday a veterinarian. A few years back I had participated in boarding through Rover, but after a hiatus I decided to come back to continue with walks and drop in visits because even outside of my main job I love to be around animals! We have a small family dog, but other than that I have rescue retired racing greyhound, Moose, who has travelled far and wide with me. My pets also include many fish, a leopard gecko, chickens and ducks! All this being said, I would absolutely love the opportunity to be alongside your best friends and scratch the itch to spend as much time with animals as I can! I am currently working full time at VCA Animal Hospital where I can do Sat, Sun and Mon anytime. I am open to doing drop ins and walks. I have a miniature pincher mix, she is the friendliest dog and gets along with any dog or person. Couch potato all day kind of dog but loves to go play with other dogs at the dog park. About: We have a large, very clean, and safe home with a big backyard. There are plenty of trails and sidewalks for walking around our house as well as a variety of parks nearby we can visit. I stay at home and will be available all day to supervise care for your dog(s). My three teenage kids will help provide care and are very responsible, loving, and diligent caretakers. Our own 2 small (4 lb) chihuahuas, Mocha & Lacey, are used to having other dogs around. She was very in tune with our pups needs during their walks, and was so mindful on the very hot days to take it slow or return for water when needed. Our pup is known to have some undesirable behavior on walks, and Emily came a few days early to meet her, learn her nuances and took notes so she was prepared to manage it. One of my dogs is now blind and the other requires daily subcutaneous fluids so I am willing and able to help out with any of your pet's special needs as well..... I am currently on a full time job hunt in marketing analytics and very available (with notice) to care for your dogs most days and evenings as I can search and do freelance work remotely. Depending on your dog's needs I can usually provide bathroom breaks every 4 hours in between errands, etc. My calendar will be updated to show days I plan to be away. At this time, I can care for pets in my client's home. I do need to bring my dogs for the overnight portion of the stay but will keep them separate in a room/space of your choosing during the evening (and on bedroom floor at night). They are very dog friendly just very sleepy and do well snoozing someplace quiet.

My house is away from the road and not near a main road at all we have a fenced in backyard. I have 2 dogs of my own that will be separated from all dogs at all times and a whole back room int the house with big comfy dog crates if they were needed to be crated. If i were to come to your home and take care of pets I will always supervise and keep your pup company with toys provided!

About: Safe to say I grew up in a big dog family. Ever since I've been alive, my family had 2 to 3 dogs in the house, both big and small dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and definitely have an attachment to them. Have been traveling for work for a few years so havn't had an opportunity to get one myself, but recently purchased a new home and getting a new pup is high on the list of priorities. I've been dog sitting for friends and relatives for many years and my wife is just as big of a dog lover. Looking forward to answering any questions! I've been recently working from home, so typically very available now to work around others schedule and making sure no dog is left alone for too long. Have a backyard that does not have a fence yet, but able to put up temporary fence when any visitors are here. Can board the dog however the owner perfers (crate or no crate). Single family home in family friendly neighborhood near Kingston and Duxbury.
