About: I’ve had a family dog my whole life, and my fiancé and I hope to have our own someday. Since we’re not able to right now, I get my dog fix through Rover! I’ve been active on Rover for over a year, doing walks, drop-ins, and house sitting pretty consistently. I love getting to care for all different kinds of dogs and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I work full-time Monday–Friday from 8:30–4:30, with a lunch break where I can run home if needed. I am comfortable doing anything from bathing, feeding, walking, medication, etc. I am currently a part time student and am employed part time, so I am able to do drop in visits or walks in between and before/after class or work. Jackie‘s home was perfect for what we were looking for. A large securely fenced yard plus a dog door. Quinnie seemed very comfortable with Jackie, her husband and their three adorable dogs. For over 35 years, with the help of my adult children Marc & Lauren, we have been taking care of Cats, Dogs, chickens and exotic pets in Bourne . We have a pet friendly home on almost an acre, with a separate area for small pups .For 15 years I Have had the pleasure of Working part time at Leach animal Hospital In Mashpee . We can promise a safe fun environment. Dogs have access to the outside areas at all times during the day. We recommend bringing their own bed . No toys or bowls necessary we have plenty . Plenty of beds and a awning for lazing in the sun . A kiddie pool to cool off . Safety is our 1st priority . If they have fun and make new friends while here it is a bonus. We do have quite a few regular repeats . Thurs and Fridays I offer a drop off day/play group beneficial for puppy’s. Drop off between 10-4 limited to 4 puppies . Socializing and basic training included.....Who wants to start their new puppy on the right track to become a calm well socialized member of your family. I'm comfortable applying eye meds, giving oral meds and also insulin shots. Pick up and drop off by appointment. I’m Recently retired , I have plenty of time to spend with you cats n Dogs . Walking , training , puppies or behavioral issues. I have a fenced in yard and 2 small friendly dogs . Who love to meet new friends. We provide a stimulating fun filled structured environment . I’m home all day! Dogs must be sociable around other dogs . Puppies welcome . Weather permitting they have access to outside fenced in area via a doggy door. About: I am a physical therapist who has a passion for working with people, however, I interact with people quite often. SO, what I really enjoy is making the time to cuddle or walk with furry friends any chance I can get. As a former doctoral student, I have learned how to manage time well, organize and prioritize. I have over 8 years of experience dog sitting for family members and these dogs include small breeds (Coton de Tulear and Dachshund), medium breeds (Beagle/Australian Sheperd mix) and large breeds (Pitbull/Boxer mix, Boxer, and Lab/Pitbull mix). I have administered medication on a strict schedule, bathed, walked and snuggled with all of these pups, showing nothing but love and dedication. I take all safety precautions to ensure gates are closed when necessary, human food is placed far out of reach, and all doors are shut that lead to tempting, tasty objects such as shoes and remotes. My experience with a variety of breeds and sizes makes me stand out, as well as my ability to handle high energy dogs who may appear confrontational at first. If you choose me to watch your fur babies, there is no doubt that they will be in good hands with someone who is dedicated to ensuring they are comfortable, happy and well taken care off. It wws our first time using Rover, so we weren’t sure what to expect but the experience with Ryan (and Leah) was so great, they took Hammy on walks through the woods, cuddled with him at home, and generally just took amazing care, with photos and updates throughout. “I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. Especially if your dog needs friends to play with and a watchful person to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. :) Thank you so much Julie!”
