About: I adopted my first dog in second grade. He was my responsibility and as I got older, I learned that I loved going for walks outside as much as my dog. Now that I'm older, I love taking friends' dogs for hikes in new locations. I have even managed to train one of my friend's reactive dog so she pulls on the leash less. I also briefly fostered animals when I was in graduate school. I am a teacher on summer break, so I have plenty of hours to devote to your pet and look forward to enjoying plenty of summer outside time with your dog. I have walked a wide range of dogs, including a couple of reactive pit bull mixes. I have experienced triggering situations with dogs and know how to either handle them or avoid them.

About: Having recently lost my beloved yellow lab at 14, I find I miss our walks and the unconditional love that comes from being a dog mom. I've had dogs most of my adult life...labs are a favorite but I love them all. My daughter and my son each have two rescues who have all lived with us for periods of time. I am retired from the health club industry so my time is flexible. I am recently retired so I have a flexible schedule. I am available weekdays (7am-5pm) and some weekends. I live near conservations paths and the old reservoir which are both dog friendly places to walk. I am currently renting in Lexington so am unable to bring pets into my home, but I can go to clients homes to walk your pet.

I really appreciated that Briana took Ellis's breed – an Australian Shepherd – into account and made sure to do longer walks because the breed benefits from a little extra exercise. About: I have been around animals all my life. Grew up in the rural Midwest surrounded by dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, turtles, in addition to the cows, pigs, chickens, and horses at nearby farms. “I cannot say enough nice things about Olivia! She was instantly responsive when I first reached out about the booking and very accommodating in the lead-up to Maisy's stay. Once I dropped her off, Olivia sent us multiple updates and photos throughout each day Maisy was with her. But the biggest compliment I want to pay was for how she looked after Maisy when she got sick toward the end of the visit. Olivia had to put up with so much: accidents, getting up with Maisy several times each night and even taking her to urgent care. Throughout this distressing ordeal, Olivia was so responsible, communicative and understanding; we took huge comfort in knowing Maisy was in good hands while we were so far away. While I wouldn't wish another experience like that on her, know that Olivia is great in a crisis and a lifesaver to anxious dog parents. Highly recommended!”
