About: I have had cats ever since I was young toddler and my dad brought home cats much to my mother's annoyance. My grandfather used to take care of the neighborhood cat who only liked him and let me pat him. I have had all types of cats- loving, shy, feral, scared, evil and all around purrfect. I currently have four- one of whom chooses to live in our basement but he has the best life and can come up if he wants, but the others go and sit with him and keep him company. I have nurse cats through trauma and illness and kitty Alzheimers. They are interesting creatures and I love to see what their unique characteristics are.

About: I've cared for cats as well off and on since I was a kid. I'd patch up the cats in the neighborhood when they get injured in a fight with another cat or wildlife. Additionally, I had and cared for my cat who made it to 23 with CKD and had gone into kidney failure, giving her IV fluids as much as daily (this really takes the stress off of the kidneys). Also, prior to having a holistic vet recommend adding generic Miralax to her wet food, I, uh, became expert in giving kitty enemas. Fortunately, Bell realized that I was helping her because at that time, she became constipated every couple of weeks.

About: Having recently lost my beloved yellow lab at 14, I find I miss our walks and the unconditional love that comes from being a dog mom. I've had dogs most of my adult life...labs are a favorite but I love them all. My daughter and my son each have two rescues who have all lived with us for periods of time. I am retired from the health club industry so my time is flexible. I am recently retired so I have a flexible schedule. I am available weekdays (7am-5pm) and some weekends. I live near conservations paths and the old reservoir which are both dog friendly places to walk.
