“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”

Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. About: My wife and I have cared for and trained all of our dogs in a resposible loving manner that others have always noticed when meeting our dogs. My wife works from home and is always attentive to our dogs needs and I am home every day around 3pm to help take care. We have a large fenced in back yard with a large dog door that leads right into the yard for your pet to come and go as they please. Also we live in a neighborhood that is great for dog walking to change up the scenery and keep dogs engaged and stimulated.

About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: I have always had a dog and cat in the house. I am retired and would love to entertain another dog or cat in my home. Monday through Friday all day. I do go out each day for a couple hours. Your pet will be safe in the house while I am gone. Your pet would be in my home with my dog and cat. We have a pet walking area just across the street. If your pet enjoys a car ride they can go on a short trip to a walking trail.

About: I have have experience owning dogs from chihuahua size to vizsla size, and experience fostering/house sitting everything in between. I love dogs around here, and will be treated like family. Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. Cold winter days are spent in front of a wood stove fire, and the rest of the time pets are welcome (if not encouraged!) to spend time on sofas and beds for snuggles and naps. Dogs are family here.

There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. About: Since I was 13 years old, I've had 7 dogs in my life: a Golden, a Border Collie, a Bernice Mountain Dog, two mutts, a King Charles Cavalier and a Cockapoo. Each of these dogs lived an average of 14 amazing puppy, mid-life and senior joyful years. I learned as a child and then as an adult, that dogs abound with joy when given a consistent, kind, safe and loving environment. I adore dogs and the energy they bring. They teach us how to live life to the fullest and maybe even teach us how to love. My friends know this about me. They're always asking me to take care of their dogs. They call me the dog whisperer. They trust me. Your dog will be at home in my care. A walk every 2-3 hours, some play, a snack (if allowed), a good snooze and we'll do it all over again. As described below, your pet will be with me much of the day. I work from home on the computer and can take numerous breaks throughout the day to walk and play with your best friend. See below for our daily routine. Your dog and I will take a long walk the morning. If they're a ball chaser, there's a fenced in area at the local park where we'll spend some time running after balls. After the walk/run, we'll hang together as I work for a few hours on the computer. Mid-morning, we'll spend some time in my backyard on a leash making sure they get additional air and a pee. At noon, they'll get another walk around the block, have a mid-day snack (if allowed) and then while they nap, I'll work some more until quitting time when we'll go for another long walk or run. And of course what they care most about, breakfast, lunch or dinner will be served according to their routine. After the evening walk, we'll read or watch some TV while we relax on the couch. Bedtime is around 11 in which a quick backyard pee prior to bed. Depending on their preference, they can sleep on my bed or if they're crate trained and you or they would prefer that, they'll rest in the crate for the evening in my bedroom. And the next day, we'll do it all over again.

About: I have had cats and dogs my entire life, and I am missing my exercise buddy. I’ve had all sized dogs; lap dogs to Irish setter! I am available almost anytime throughout the week and weekend! During the week I do work Monday-Thursday, but am available in the mornings and in the afternoon, as well as evenings. I am a firm believer if you are walking a dog, you don’t need to be talking on the phone. A dog deserves your attention and your companionship even if it’s just 30 minutes! I will always have extra water for those warmer days, and I will take into account your pet’s age and needs when walking with them. If nothing else we can play Pokémon Go and hatch some eggs! We have over a half acre of land, it is not fenced, but we would leash your pet when going outside. Our home is 1400sqft, so giant dogs would be cramped, we love all sized dogs, but due to the size of our home we would need to host large dogs and smaller.

About: My wife and I have cared for and trained all of our dogs in a resposible loving manner that others have always noticed when meeting our dogs. My wife works from home and is always attentive to our dogs needs and I am home every day around 3pm to help take care.
