Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. While I was away, Olivia sent frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious they weren't just being cared for—they were genuinely loved. Seeing them so relaxed and comfortable made an incredibly stressful time so much easier. Olivia cared not only for my cats but also for me. About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. Required vaccinations: Rabies Distemper Bordetella (kennel cough)

About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

“Krista and Henry did a great job caring for my 12 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback, Ralphie. They take their responsibility very seriously but at the same time they are very calm and easygoing which is perfect for a dog in a new place. Ralphie’s hind legs are not as strong as they used to be. Out of concern for his safety, Krista slept downstairs on the couch so Ralphie would not have to climb the stairs. I highly recommend Krista & Henry to anyone else looking for the best care for your dog when need a sitter.”

“Julie was really great with our anxious dog who really does not warm up to strangers. She understood that our dog needed space and time. By the end of the 24hour stay she and our dog had bonded which speaks volumes regarding Julie’s demeanor and ability to read a dog. Additionally, Julie is extremely responsive. Due to weather we needed to adjust our stay and she quickly responded to my messages and helped work through how to navigate the Rover site ? We are looking forward to having our dog stay with Julie again soon.”
“Olivia was absolutely incredible, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. I was also leaving for a weekend, so this was my first time ever dropping my cats off with a sitter instead of having someone stay in my home. Needless to say, I was pretty anxious. From the very first meet-and-greet, Olivia immediately put me at ease. Her background as a veterinary technician was reassuring, but what truly stood out was how genuinely kind, compassionate, and attentive she is. She took the time to get to know each of my cats' unique personalities, routines, and little quirks. Both of my boys warmed up to her right away, which is saying a lot—especially Jack, who struggles with anxiety. While I was away, Olivia sent frequent updates, photos, and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind. It was obvious they weren't just being cared for—they were genuinely loved. Seeing them so relaxed and comfortable made an incredibly stressful time so much easier. Olivia cared not only for my cats but also for me. She understood the emotional weight of everything we were going through and showed so much compassion throughout the entire experience. My boys came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, communicative, and truly treats your pets like family, Olivia is exceptional. I would trust her with Jack and Gus again in a heartbeat, and I'm so grateful we found her.”

“Bridget has been fantastic from the very first message! The meet-and-greet with her two dogs and my dog, Odin, went very smoothly. You can really tell when someone genuinely loves dogs, and it was immediately clear that she does. When I brought Odin back for the actual boarding, he was so excited to see her, which made me feel completely comfortable leaving him in her care while we were out of town.
