“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. We would absolutely recommend them and will not hesitate to have them care for our dog again!”

About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.

About: I have 2 dogs of my own and foster puppies and adult dogs as well. We also have chickens. I love animals of all types and understand how difficult it can be to find someone you trust with their care. I am a Registered Nurse and caring for animals comes as natural to me as caring for people. Caring for your pets gives me the flexibility to spend time with them but also be available as a mom. My daughter loves animals and is very helpful and loving. I have a flexible work schedule and mostly work from home. I am able to interact while working and provide frequent potty breaks and extra attention as needed. I do feed separately to avoid food aggression issues which can sometimes happen in new environments. I have 2 dogs of my own and a fenced in yard. There is plenty of space to run and play and also lounge and nap! We’d love to know what your dog's typical routine is at home as well as any behaviors (food/toy aggression) or quirks we should be aware of. I will do my best to accommodate any special needs. Please let us know if they are on any medications or have any health issues. I DO NOT accept dogs that are aggressive, excessive barkers, non-house trained, destructive, or have severe separation anxiety. All dogs who stay in our home must be well socialized, healthy (i.e. not sick with any contagious diseases that could be passed onto humans or other dogs) and up to date on their vaccines and flea/tick preventatives. Required vaccinations: Rabies Distemper Bordetella (kennel cough)

Your pet will stay home with me and my 11 year vizsla all day. He/she will have immediate access to our 2 acre of wooded and yard property as often as needed. We also take 2-5 mile hikes often, and they are welcome to join. Your pet will have Watson, our super friendly and active 11 ye old Vizsla for company as well as 2acres to explore. About: My very friendly little dog and I would love to host your dog here with us, up to 40 pounds only though...Or if your pal would benefit from a playmate, we would love to come sit for you! Well first off, I've been trusted with the care of many precious pets for years now...And enjoy it very much...I am fun, caring, and engaging, as well as all ble's, reliable, dependable, and responsible! And I took a CPR pet course, and human one as well. I have had cats mostly all my life, and now own a small dog of my own, who as I stated earlier, could, or doesn't have to if need be, come with me, as some love to have a playmate for their pet...And I know my friendly little guy very much enjoys the visit. But with anyone coming to my home, my guy will be there too, and they must all be friendly, and then we have nothing but a good time. Which brings me to, I can watch any animal, esp in the animals home and of any size...It is my home that, as also mentioned above, I would only be able to take in a small or medium sized dog, cat, or caged pet. And my home, that I live in with just my little guy, is pretty open and spacious for dogs to move around, and I have fenced in my backyard just off the back door porch for even more run around fun. And now onto my prices, I had to do additions a certian way on here...As to plus a cat if I'm also coming to care for your dog...But I can always modify and give a discount if say you have many plus one cats in your home so it doesn't keep plus one'ing a fee...Or if you have wonderfully easy small dogs, I would not keep plus one'ing for those and would find a nice set fee, and especially if my little guy could also come enjoy them, or they could come spend the time with us...It's the large ones that can be more of a handful and take a bit more doing often times, that I have to have it set that way for. And I did just recently up my prices some as I've noticed that Rover charges per night and I am not loving that, I always on my own charge per day, so I up'd my prices some to reflect that. But have noticed that I am still under many, esp when it comes to multiple pets, and so that is good. So you can always send me a msg and we can discuss any and all options. I can often work staying elsewhere into my routine, even if many miles away...Pop ins as well can be worked in more easily than not...Esp when it's on the way to work or right near work...And my work schedule often varies and can be shifted if need be...But that brings me to, work is part time, so I won't be gone hours upon hours at a time, but those hours could fall into the evening as in dinner could be an hour or 2 late an evening or 2, if that is alright. And I put a certain radius...But I have stayed in homes miles and miles away, out of state even, just ask if it's doable, it very well may be! But for pop ins and walks, I would prefer to travel within 10 miles or so from my home only. So I did just update this for a 45 miles out, but obviously I cannot be doing a pop in or daily walk so far away. I care for pets in my home or their home the same way I care for my pet in his home...With the added, well, additions that your pet may need. My home is often more foolproof safe...Such as I have an indoor fenced area around my front door...And I do sometimes bring something similar with me to others homes...I prefer to be (overly) safe than sorry.

About: I have always had a dog and cat in the house. I am retired and would love to entertain another dog or cat in my home. Monday through Friday all day. I do go out each day for a couple hours. Your pet will be safe in the house while I am gone. Your pet would be in my home with my dog and cat. We have a pet walking area just across the street. If your pet enjoys a car ride they can go on a short trip to a walking trail.
About: I have had cats and dogs for over 6 years (with many more years of hamster experience) and my husband was raised with many pets since he was 3 years old (cats, dogs, chicken and even birds). We like being surrounded by fur babies! We have three kitties and one Golden Doodle that is eager to have fun with your dog (he is very gentle despite his large size). Both my husband and I work remotely so at least one of us will be at the house at all times. We will be able to take care of your pet’s needs! We have a fenced yard (with night lights!) with ample space for dogs to run and do their business. We have a fully-furnished basement where guests doggies can spend as much private time as they want, sleep on the bean bag, or look at the window to the outside! We have crates that are large and medium in case they are needed.

About: I’ve had dogs for as long as I can remember and have cared for farm animals my whole life. I’ve dog sat for a variety of breeds for neighbors as well as friends and family. I'm close to Tufts vet emergency. I've owned dogs, cats, birds, fish, hedgehog and reptiles. I now only have fish . Your dog will be the only dog since I have no dogs of my own now. (unless I have another booking the same time which I will let you know if it's ok). I live in house like apartment, and have a big yard (One without a fence) so your dog will always be on a leash with me. I will treat your dog as my own. They will get individual attention. My heart was for my Dog Reggie my black lab. I had him for 7 long years and he's in heaven now. So I would enjoy taking care of yours which brings good memories back :) ,plus I love to play ,cuddle, spoil and take your dog for trail walks or to the parks or lake. Your dog will get lots of attention from me and my kids who love dogs and miss their own.. An added bonus, I consult with people and their pets for health and healing. About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life and have always loved caring for them. Whether it’s going for long walks, playing outside, or just spending quality time together, I genuinely enjoy being around dogs and making sure they’re happy and well cared for. I understand how important it is to keep pets active, loved, and safe, and I treat every dog like they’re part of the family. As a teacher currently on summer break, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to pet care. My days are open, so I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or extended stays throughout the week. About: I have been a true pet lover my entire life. Now I raise two daughters who feel the same way. There has never been an animal we did not love. I have been the one all of my friends and family always rely on to help walk, feed, bathe, and take care of their pets. I have a lot of energy so love being active and going on walks and hikes and running around with a dog. I am happy to have an animal cuddled onto my lap and do not even mind being licked all over my face! I treat every pet as if it was my own. I trained two dogs from 8 weeks old, on so understand what it takes. I have had a cats my entire life and I love kitties as well! I am comfortable with big and small animals. My children are the biggest animal lovers I know and both want to be vets when they grow up. We would treat your pet like it was our own with more love than you can imagine! My girls and I are around most of the summer, as I work in a school. We are very active so we would love to be out and about walking and taking care of your dog or taking care of your cats! If I were to come to your home and take care of your pet or walk your dog, I would be very comfortable letting myself in and approaching any time of animal. I would give them all the love in the world an any care or exercise they need!

From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. Our situation was a little unusual because my cats and I have been displaced from our home due to a mold issue, and one of my boys, Jack, had already been experiencing health symptoms. About: I have a 5-year-old border collie. He’s very friendly and loves to play with other dogs. I live in a town house so I don’t have a yard per say. I typically take my dog to parks/fields in Ashland to hike or run around. I typically walk my border collie about 4 miles a day as well. I work remote so I am usually home. Available 7 days a week. I usually go to the gym for a few hours each day but try to be home for my dog to keep him active as a herding dog (border collie) I will do 2 long walks per day typically (2 miles each). I will also take my dog and yours hiking or to a field/park but not a dog park. I can go to a fenced in field if needed for your dog. Mine doesn’t need a fence.
