One of my dogs is very anxious and barks a lot. She dealt with it well and realized he was just unsure of the environment. My 6 pound Pomeranian took a few days to warm up to her but in the end she did. Sue didn’t push herself on my dog and just let my pup come to her. She took special care to walk them and make them feel as comfortable in their new environment. Sue also took time each day to send me photos and texts so I knew they were ok. I have already booked her for two more weeks this summer. I recommend her with your dogs too. It is obvious she loves and enjoys dogs.”

About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.
About: I'll care for your pet like it's my own, and will provide ample ear scritches and snuggles as needed while they miss you during your time away. Our dogs share the couch and family spaces with us, but are crate trained as well. We go for walks daily and have playtime in the yard every 2-3 hours during the day if the weather is appropriate. We have two dogs, and an elderly cat that keeps to himself. Our yard is about an acre on a quiet dead end road and we have an electric fence for our pups, but can of course use leashes and leads as well!

About: I’ve had dogs and cats of all sorts and sizes since I was a kid, and love playing with them. One of the requirements for our current home was to have a big yard so our boys could run free! I work from home and create my own schedule, and am an introvert so I’m almost always at my home unless I’m running an errand. This means I’ll always be here to take care of your animal and take them for walks, bathroom breaks, or play time. I have a big (unfenced) private back yard far away from any neighbors. I have two doodle’s who love to play with other dogs and two cats who will probably hide the whole time. Your pet will spend most of their time with me while I’m in my office or doing chores around the house, then the rest of the time playing with me and (optionally) my two dogs in our yard. I currently work full time as a bartender, so my mornings and early afternoons are totally open for any care. Nights are a little harder as I get out pretty late. I have 3 cats of my own, I have to administer medication to one of them twice a day, and monitor his litter box use as he has chronic urinary blockages. As a BCBA working in the school system, I am currently off for the summer, so my availability is wide open. In the fall I will work regular school hours 7:30-2:30pm 4 days/ week. During the week I am available for afternoon and early evening visits. On the weekends my availability is open! I build in dedicated time for each visit to ensure I’m never rushed, and every pet gets my full attention. I care for pets in their own home with the same respect and attentiveness I would offer in my own. I follow all provided instructions closely—whether that includes feeding schedules, medication, preferred walking routes, or favorite toys—and I always take time to observe how each pet is feeling that day and send updates and pictures. During drop-in visits, I offer gentle, calm energy and prioritize connection so your pet feels safe and seen. I’ll make sure they’re fed, comfortable, and get affection or playtime based on their needs and personality. On walks, I stay alert and keep pets secure while still giving them time to sniff, explore, and enjoy the moment. I will always leave your home just as I found it—or even a little better. My goal is for both pets and owners to feel completely at ease while we’re on our routine together

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was young. My family used to breed German shepherd‘s, bull mastiffs, and old English bulldogs. I have experience with new born puppies all the way up to our elderly friends. Im very experienced in medication distribution with young puppies and old souls. I’m an avid hiker/walker and love to be outside. Along with dogs I have always grown up with cats. I’m more than happy to deal with any fuzzy friend in your household! About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and previously volunteered at an animal shelter where I cared for dogs. I have experience dog sitting for various people over the years and can also administer medication. I’m currently working full time with weekends and holidays off. I arrive back home around 5pm. Anytime I’m not at work, I’m available to provide care! I have stayed at clients houses before to dog sit. I’m comfortable following all directions and am able to meet all reasonable accommodations to include playtime, picking up poop, and crating them.

About: I have taken care of several medium sized breeds for the past three years including labs, poodles, and beagles. I have also cared for smaller breeds like chihuahuas and Shih Tzus, as well as puppies and senior dogs. I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day so I am available to provide dogs with attention and care at home the rest of the time. :) I work part time for a maximum of five hours a day, when I am outside of work I spend most of time home. During the time I am at home I’m able to adjust your pets care according to your preference. I live in an apartment and have a small male chihuahua who gets along great with other dogs. I don’t have a restrictive environment and will happily allow your dog to rest on the couches and beds, and roam around the apartment. I don’t have a fenced yard but I can walk and take your dog potty on a leash.

I am a born animal lover and will treat your pet as if they were my own. I do work full time, so would mostly be available weekends but can be flexible depending on the situation. About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.
