“Christian was absolutely fantastic taking care of Aspen! We were away in France and had no worries about our pet because we were constantly updated with messages, photos, and check ins about Aspen's status. This is very reassuring as an owner. I have bookmarked Christian's name on Rover for our next vacation!”

“Caitlin was very accommodating in our last minute request for a long weekend stay! She gave lots of updates and was reassuring the whole time for our high maintenance dog. Highly recommend her. We hope to use her help again for any future cape visits!”

“Michele was great with Hazel! She was very communicative and sent picture updates throughout the day. She was very thorough in her questions before caring for Hazel, and made sure she knew everything she could to make Hazel comfortable during her stay. Overall, Michele was amazing and would highly recommend!”

“Kellie is WONDERFUL! She took a chance on Mollie, our 3-year-old rescue Sheepadoodle, who would be staying in a new place for the first time without her older "sister" and guiding star, Sophy. We were worried Mollie's quirks would prove too much, but Kellie and her family proved us wrong. They believed in her, reinforced her confidence, and provided a loving temporary home. She thrived in their household the week we were away, and we still see the effects of her new-found confidence. We can't thank Kellie enough!”

“Karen was able to watch our furry gal at last minute notice. She was kind, flexible, and gave us updates through pictures. We appreciate her help and our pup came home happy.”

“Baci had a very nice stay with Andrea & Bob; he had dog friends to play with, lunch in Chatham, took in an outdoor concert, walked on Red River Beach and also the neighborhood and was part of the fun at a backyard cookout complete with a fire pit. We had updates and photos and were very at ease with Baci’s stay. ❤️🐩”

“Zuzana did an amazing job taking care of our lab. Gizmo was a great host and our dog had a blast. Zuzana also went out of her way to purchase a new collar when ours broke last minute. Thank you so much! Would book again 100%!!!”

“Chelsea took care of my newly-adopted Mini Aussie Shepherd, who is always on "turbocharge." I came back to a very happy dog! I found Chelsea to be honest and simply a joy to work with. I will definitely trust her with my dog again anytime!”

“Alyne was very responsive when we were communicating before I finalized the booking. She had let me know that she would be watching 2 other dogs and brought them out one at a time to make sure my dog was OK with them. She took great care of my dog!”

“Julie was awesome with Walden! She’s had labs herself for many years so she welcomed him with open arms. He had a great time and would love to have her watch him again in the future. Thanks, Julie!”

“Could not have asked for a better boarding experience, dropping off/picking up and keeping in touch while I was away. Harriet’s farm is idyllic, and I’m confident my pup was well taken care of and had a great time while there. Thank you, Harriet!”

“Both of my elderly dogs love staying with Uncle Stephen! We get photos showing how much fun they are having as well as them enjoying the multiple beds/ sofas/ etc. Highly recommend!”

“Karen is a kind, caring person and I am so grateful we found her. She eased my worries leaving my new dog for the first time. Then when my travel plans went awry, she once again eased my concerns and went above and beyond the help care for our dog. Our dog was in great hands, and being well cared for while we were away. Thank you again! You are awesome!”

About: I have extensive experience working with dogs of all sizes. Growing up, my family had large dogs (90+ pounds) for almost all of my life. I have watched and pet-sat for dogs of all sizes in the past few years for neighbors and friends. I’ve recently moved back to the Massachusetts area after a travel-heavy job for the past few years, so no fur babies of my own yet! I look forward to re-exploring some of the wonderful walking trails the Cape offers with your furry friends! I’m currently working as a server part-time, so have plenty of time to play with, walk, and feed your dogs/cats. I am available for boarding or pet-sitting in your home most weeks, and for walks nearly every evening, plus morning and afternoon shifts every Tuesday and Wednesday. I have a large backyard and walking trails within a 10-minute walk from my house, perfect for leashed adventures! I do not have any pets in the house full-time, but may have my parent’s well-trained and friendly rescue in the house on occasional weekends.
“Madaket was fantastic, we arrived at the property and my dog Olympia started sprinting around with her dog Millie. The property was also very large, which gave Olympia plenty of room to enjoy herself. Madaket sent several pictures and videos throughout the day. There is nothing better than feeling confident that your dog doesn’t miss you because you know they are having such a good time ?! I’d be happy to leave Olympia there any time! Plus she gave Olympia a little blue bandana ?”

About: With a deep passion for animals and years of hands-on experience, I bring a level of care and understanding that goes beyond the basics. I’ve volunteered at a local animal shelter for over two years, where I gained experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments—including those who needed extra patience and love. This experience taught me how to read canine body language, build trust, and handle all kinds of situations calmly and confidently. I’m also entering my third year working at a dog daycare, where I manage group play sessions, monitor behavior, and ensure each dog is safe, engaged, and happy throughout the day. I’ve worked with puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable tailoring care to meet each dog's unique needs. What sets me apart is my commitment to treating every dog like my own—whether we’re going for a walk, spending the night, or just sharing a moment of calm. You can trust that your dog will not only be cared for but genuinely loved. I currently work at a dog daycare on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, 8 AM to 5 PM, I have a lunch break from 12 PM to 2 PM, and I’m happy to do quick drop-ins or walks during that time if you’re nearby. I'm fully available on weekends and Wednesdays for dog walking, pet sitting, and overnight stays. Whether your pup needs a midday walk, a weekend buddy, or some loving company while you're away, I’m here to help! Whether your dog is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, their comfort and well-being come first. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, routines, and needs so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. I will treat your home and your pup with complete respect. I follow all your instructions closely, from feeding to medication to where your dog likes to nap. I keep things tidy and make sure your dog feels safe and relaxed while you’re away. I’ll also send regular updates so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing.
“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

“My dog Nugget bordered with Glenn and Kirstin for two nights .They were great with Nuggie. He seemed right at home with them from the very first day. They kept in touch with me and sent me photos of him “settling in”. I had been worried because he had never bordered before and he’s a little skittish. (he’s a Chihuahua), but he seemed right at home in their place. Kirstin seemed especially loving towards him as he was cuddling on her lap when I arrived to pick him up! I would definitely use them again and highly recommend them!”

About: Hi! My name is Mariana and I am going to be a junior at UMass Amherst. I am currently living on Cape Cod for the summer, looking for pet care opportunities in the Eastham/Cape Cod area. I am very enthusiastic about my love for dogs and have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I have 3 male Rhodesian Ridgebacks at home, named Mo (7), Bernie (2), and Frankie (2 months). Currently, I’m working part time at the Chatham Dog Club. In the past (From Jan 2025-Aug 2025),I had the pleasure of caring for a local family’s dogs: two German Shepards (Mo and Solo) and a Yellow lab (Hubert). Given their differing temperaments and high energy, I was able to orchestrate a safe and fun environment for all 3 dogs. Tasks included preparing meals, cleaning kennels and any other surfaces/food dishes as needed, and observing and participating in play time. Along with many other experiences, this one was truly so enjoyable and reinforced my love of dogs and everything that comes with caring for them. I would love to help you out and give your dogs the loving care they deserve! I am available all summer until the last week of August. I am also very flexible so I am willing to work with you or your schedule if needed! I am able to take your dog on walks with a leash, crate them if needed, play with them in any fenced in or closed off area, learn and give them any training commands they know, feed them, give them treats and pets!

“Emily was fantastic! She was communicative, kind, and took such great care of our cat. She went above and beyond to make sure we came home to a fully clean litter box, too! I'm so glad we found someone we can fully trust with our kitty. And on top of all that, she also takes great pictures! Truly so grateful for everything she did ❤️”

“Christian did a fantastic job taking care of our 14 year old cat, Ludde. Ludde is on medicated diet and had just arrived back to the Cape after some long air plane rides. I was worried leaving him, but Christian put me at ease right away, took great care of Ludde and sent us plenty of photos and pictures. It was a relief to find such a competent and caring pet sitter.”

“Taigh accepted watching our cats at the last minute, visited with us in person and then followed through with our care instructions. He left us notes each day. Would hire again.”

“Shannon did a great job. When we got home, Harry looked great - he’s 18 and doesn’t like being home alone, so thanks Shannon! I definitely recommend Shannon for any furry baby, but especially our seniors who need a little extra love.”
“Karen made drop-in visits to care for my cat while I was on vacation. She came twice a day, early in the morning and again at dinnertime. She provided food, fresh water, changed the litter, and kept the areas clean. She also took away the used cans to recycle & took away the litter. The texts and photos were reassuring. I definitely recommend Karen. She was thorough and reliable.”

“Skyla did great with our three cats. Typically our cat Hades can be shy around new people. However, he walked up to Skyla right away. She made our cats feel very comfortable and safe. She also sent pictures so we could see how they were doing.”

About: I raised my blue heeler since he was a puppy in 2020, so I have training experience and am used to high-energy breeds! About: I am a very compassionate, enthusiastic person that absolutely loves dogs! I don’t have a dog of my own anymore and only take one dog with no other dogs - unless the dogs in your family are more than one - the more the merrier in that case I’m in! I know many dogs do not get along with other dogs which is normal for many dogs, no worries I get it! This is a huge peace of mind for many dogs and their owners- and my specialty catering to one dog - hence my pricing. Believe me it’s worth every penny! A bit about me- my family and friends have always say “I’m a dog whisperer”! I have always had dogs in my life, but I lost my best friend (yellow lab). She was my soulmate! I am now ready to enjoy and take care of your fur-baby or fur-babies as my own. I give one on one attention to your dog that you will not find anywhere! All the dogs do very well with me, and their owner’s have all said they’ve had a huge relief knowing their fur- babies are in good, loving hands with me! You will absolutely have a peace of mind!! I’m available for house sitting in their comfort of your home or vacation/summer home or boarding here at my home. I also do drop in visits with walks, play and company for your pet. I love going on adventures with trail hikes, beaches and exploring with your pups. I know dogs, and I know their needs. Dogs need social interactions, company and lots of attention just like we do as humans! Your dog(s) will always be my bestie too! I look forward to hearing from you, meeting you and your fur baby! I am home full time (early retired teacher) and have plenty of time to walk, play and cuddle with your pet! I’m available for your needs and your pet needs too! I have a great yard, deck to play and hang out together. I live in a quiet area that has great places for taking walks, hikes, beaches (when dogs are allowed during the year here), and adventures with your fur baby! People tell me it’s like doggie vacation camp when their dogs come stay with me!
About: We have owned and cared for dogs and cats for our entire lives. Friends and family joyfully leave their fur babies with us for day and overnight stays on a regular basis. We very much enjoy taking pups for walks through town, woods and the beach. We're happy to walk your dog in the environment that's best for them. We work from home as an artist and artisan and are available to provide constant monitoring and supervision for pets under our care. We generally offer services from November-May. My home has plenty of space to give your pet quiet solo time if desired. I currently have a 2.5 year old female lab mix who absolutely loves dogs and cats alike as well as a cat who really enjoys watching dogs (he has his own space on the second floor if dogs and cats need/want to be separated). We typically do a morning, afternoon and evening walk that is 1-2 miles long, but can adjust the distance and frequency to suit your pet. In addition to walks, we visit the yard frequently for play and potty breaks. We take pride in tailoring your dog's visit to individual needs. Your dog will have a room that will be their own for the duration of their stay so they can eat without interruption at their own pace (as well as sleep and hang out if they prefer solo time). If your dog desires, we also have plenty of common area space to interact with people as well as our dog.

“We were in need for a very last minute responsible, caring person to provide drop in and walks for our two dogs. Kellie responded immediately and based on your prompt response, communication and rave reviews, we hired her. She was responsive to my questions, very attentive to our two dogs and took extra special care of them due to the extreme heat. She sent pictures and comments and updated us frequently. Kellie is kind, attentive and an excellent caregiver. We will definitely be using Kellie’s services again and we strongly encourage you to as well!”

About: I raised my blue heeler since he was a puppy in 2020, so I have training experience and am used to high-energy breeds! I took care of my previous dog as she was aging too, so I am comfortable with administering medication and senior care. I have both a dog and cat at home (Dewey and Pumpkin!) who I love and care for. I am currently a member of AmeriCorps Cape Cod. I live in Wellfleet but am usually in Harwich during business day hours. I am almost always available after 4pm and on weekends, or during my lunch break if you are close by! I unfortunately cannot have pets in my house, but I am more than happy to take care of your pet in its own home. I will spend as much time there as possible to keep your pet company and ensure bathroom breaks at least every 4 hours.

“Caroline was extremely flexible, reliable, and easy to communicate with. Our dog is cautious around new people and he took to her right away. He dog got to experience some fun adventures with her since she knows some great secret spots around the cape. We look forward to continuing to use Caroline anytime we’re down the Cape.”

About: I’ve been talking care of all types of animals since I was a young girl. I have always had a way with dogs in particular, The dog in my profile picture is my almost 2 year old Havanese who is my pride and joy. I always am sure to treat every animal like they are my own and give them all love and support they need. Shoot me a message and we can discuss is you’re dog will be right for me and vice versa, thanks! 🙂 This is my full time job outside of doing my college courses at the moment so my availability is very open until around May to June I always try to create a loving and calm environment for dogs with anxiety and a more playful time with the energetic breeds while still making sure everything is safe. For cats I let the independent ones comes to me when they want attention and then cuddle up and give lots of pets to the ones who like more human affection.
About: I grew up with golden retrievers but have cared for and spent time with dogs of many breeds and sizes. Building trust and showing love is the name of the game. I work part time and enjoy being active outside so there’s nothing like enjoying the outdoors walking and playing with a dog. I know how important a good long and fun walk or just a nice long visit is especially when a dog is missing his/her loved ones. Safety is my main priority and I’m always aware of other animals, obstacles and the environment. I double check everything. Your dog’s safety, comfort and happiness is my priority.
About: I am a very active 49 year old mom with adult children and two small dogs. I grew up with animals my whole life, and my family even owned a chain of pet stores when I was growing up, where I worked. My family is packed with doctors and vets. I move to the Cape full time and am available to walk dogs, house sit, and board small to medium sized animals in my home in Orleans. We have a fenced in backyard and lots of space to run on the beach. I work remotely, part-time as an attorney and set my own schedule. My true love is animals! My flexibility gives me plenty of time to care for pets, in your home, in mine, or just for a walk. I take my dogs for a daily run to on the beach and am happy to take along another. I can also care for your dog alone in your home (and leave mine home with my amazing family). Finally, I am available for walking your pup, most days in your neighborhood or mine. We have an acre of land and half is fenced in for dogs. We have extra cages if desired. Ours never enjoyed their crates. We will follow your schedule and treat your pet like a member of the family. We invite interviews in advance to ensure we are the right fit for your pet.

“Such a wonderful experience! Marc is so kind and caring with the dogs. We received regular photos and updates during their overnight stay, they got plenty of exercise, and it looked like they had a great time! His house is great with a large fenced in area, and he took them on walks in a nearby conservation trail. He genuinely loves dogs and we had 100% confidence that ours were cared and loved for as if they were his own. Will use him every time we need dog care on the Cape.”

“Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.”

“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

“Jennifer and Stephen took wonderful care of our dog Beau. He loved being with their pets (dog and cat), and had a great time. Will definitely be using Jennifer & Stephen again! Many thanks, Christine & Leon”
