“This was my first time leaving my puppy for such an extended period of time, and it was nerve wrecking trying to figure out how to keep Mushu safe, happy, and healthy while I was away. Thankfully, I came across Casey and Phil's profile. Met them and their dog Chloe for a meet and greet far in advance, heard about their extensive experience with dogs, and got to see Mushu interact with them in person. Spent way too long talking to them about anything and everything, and they were very patient with me and my concerns. Casey was also super helpful with reassurances, frequent updates, pictures, and videos. Overall, great experience. Heard Mushu was anxious for a bit because it was such a new experience, but he seemed content to play and receive all the love and attention while he was there. Thank you for caring for my baby!”

About: I have been taking care of animals big and small for as long as I can remember! When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. I take pride in knowing I am knowledgeable and dependable; I’ve fulfilled duties as grand as farm/kennel sitting- (meticulous care; maintaining medicine and feed schedules, cleaning services, turn in and out, organization of multiple and large quantity of animals at a time) …. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I'm currently working part-time while home from college, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide your dog with the attention, care, and exercise they deserve. I am comfortable safely crating your dog if needed and always prioritize your pet’s safety and comfort. During walks, I stay alert and am aware of my surroundings, including nearby animals or potential hazards, to ensure your dog remains safe at all times.
About: I’ve been around pets since childhood - having 2 cats, hamsters, birds and fish. I am a dog mom to a 15 year old beagle and 12 year old pittie mix both of who I adopted when they were 3 years and the other 9 months old. I walked and was also a house visitor for neighbors dogs all throughout middle school. Wherever I was there was a high possibility I was hanging out with someone’s dog. I work a Monday to Friday position but would love to spend my off hours from the office position doing house check ins and or walks for your pets. I would be able to do house check ins for bathroom breaks-feeding-loving attention-playtime as well as bringing them on walks. I am able to handle big or small & high or low energy pets.

Pipa is a nervous girl especially around strangers but Ciara assured that everything would be okay during her stay and it was! Within a few hours Pipa was comfortable and cuddled up with her on the couch! Ciara sends plenty of updates (pictures, videos) and responds quickly if you need accommodations made. Pipa absolutely enjoys her time with Ciara and made a new friend with her puppy! We will definitely continue to rebook!”

Thankfully, I came across Casey and Phil's profile. Met them and their dog Chloe for a meet and greet far in advance, heard about their extensive experience with dogs, and got to see Mushu interact with them in person. Spent way too long talking to them about anything and everything, and they were very patient with me and my concerns. Casey was also super helpful with reassurances, frequent updates, pictures, and videos. Overall, great experience. Heard Mushu was anxious for a bit because it was such a new experience, but he seemed content to play and receive all the love and attention while he was there. Thank you for caring for my baby!”
