About: Hello! I’ve been caring for animals since I was 12 years old and got my first dog sitting gig. Over the years, my family has had every kind of pet: horses, sheep, dogs, cats, birds, iguanas even! I find great joy in showing the animals I work with lots of love and guidance. I’ve trained my own and others' horses, dogs and cats over the years and it’s just the most rewarding experience. I work part time and mostly from home which allows me to be available all day to care for pets. I’m a big fan of a consistent routine with animals rotating stimulation (exercise, play, training or enrichment) meals, rest and balancing the three. I care for pets on my property which is almost entirely fenced in. I have professional kennels in a mixed use building with a residential portion attached. So I have the luxury of providing secure stalls with the addition of our open more homey areas. I can take most types of pets and I’m especially suited to care for animals that do not do well in large boarding facilities, don’t do well with other pets or just want a more personalized, quiet boarding experience. I don’t believe it is always necessary to socialize dogs with dogs and right now that’s not something I do (unless they are boarding from the same owners). I focus on routine, a bit of training and connection with humans! I have a fenced in run where dogs can be off leash for playing, enrichment etc. I designed our kennels myself and had them custom built. Each stall is separated by concrete walls to provide a private and safe space. I chose mental fencing for the top of the partition and the door. I chose this instead of the plastic, glass or solid door options because it provides optimal airflow and allows them to see out. I also have private suites separate from that area.

About: I've been around dogs my entire life but have owned my own dog for the past 4 years. I am constantly watching my friend's dogs while they are away and know how important it is to have someone to trust and provide a loving and caring home away from home for your pet while you are away! I currently work from home full-time, so I'll have plenty of time to walk and play with your pup! I have a highly energetic dog, so we take several walks during the day and then I take her to nearby parks with trails after work. I'm available for boarding during the week and on weekends. I have a medium sized fenced in yard and a very sweet dog to keep your fir baby company! My dog has free reign of the house and is allowed on the furniture and sleeps in my bed but can also crate your dog if needed.

About: I’ve always had dogs in my life since I was a baby, mostly large dogs so I know how to handle them and care for them. I’m able to administer medication if necessary, and I’m patient and attentive, so I can make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable and loved while you’re away. I understand each pet has their own personality and routine, so I always follow owners instructions carefully to minimize stress and keep things consistent. I currently work full time as a bartender, so my mornings and early afternoons are totally open for any care. Nights are a little harder as I get out pretty late. I have 3 cats of my own, I have to administer medication to one of them twice a day, and monitor his litter box use as he has chronic urinary blockages. I am able to feed, clean litter, walk and play with clients pets.

“Melissa gave our dog, Dewey, plenty of attention and affection. She is obviously one who cares deeply for dogs and treats them so very well, right down to providing him with his medications. The only possible downside is that since he's been home, Dewey misses the social time with his fellow dogs! I am the epitome of a paranoid helicopter parent, and Krista & Henry were absolutely wonderful in putting my mind at ease. They allowed me several meet & greets to ensure Barney and I were 100% comfortable, which was a huge deal for me. When the time came for Barney to stay with them, I received multiple updates with photos daily, which assured me my boy was doing great, receiving unlimited love and exceptional care and having fun. “We first met Briana before leaving our 2 dogs, and we knew immediately that she was the caring, dog loving person others have commented about. So, we ended up leaving our 2 dogs with Briana for a long weekend. The drop off was amazing, as the dogs were welcomed as if they lived there.
