“Ryan and Leah were amazing sitters for our pup Hammy. It wws our first time using Rover, so we weren’t sure what to expect but the experience with Ryan (and Leah) was so great, they took Hammy on walks through the woods, cuddled with him at home, and generally just took amazing care, with photos and updates throughout. I can’t recommend them highly enough!!!!!!!”

“Marcia did an excellent job taking care of Tuka! I could tell he was very comfortable with her and her family both when I left him and picked him up. Loved all the pictures she sent! We will definitely use her again!”

“Can’t say enough good things about Karen! We just moved here and were so nervous to find a good sitter.. Right off the bat Karen was so gentle and kind with Goldie, sent tons of picture updates, was quick to respond, and I never once felt worried or anxious! Also her dog Juni is the sweetest dog on the planet :) even with their size difference Goldie and Juni became sweet friends!”

“Kari was wonderful with Hazel. I could tell Hazel adjusted well and enjoyed her time with Kari and her family by the photos and updates Kari provided along the way. I would leave Hazel with Kari again knowing that she would be well cared for.”

“Ollie had the best time! Katie and Jessie were patient as Ollie warmed up, they took him to the beach and on a boat ride. Overall they treated him like their own pet and Ollie seemed happy. They sent multiple photos each day and were very responsive. Great sitters!”

“Maria and her family took wonderful care of our 4 mo old golden. Frequent updates and pictures. Played all day with the other pups. Perfect set up! Thank you Maria!”

“Marc did a great job watching my quirky beagle! Waldo had a great time at Marc's home. His fenced in yard is perfect for dogs. He's very attentive and caring. He provided me with pictures of Waldo during his stay. I've already booked him again for two more stays.”

“Outstanding!! Pupper is a fairly shy, quiet little dog, but he immediately took to Isabella -- she absolutely "gets" dogs. Her home is very well set up for dogs, with cozy beds, generous water bowls, and pup blankets on the sofa. The many photos she sent me during Pupper's stay showed me that he was completely happy and comfortable, either in her arms or lounging in a dog bed, keeping an eye on the kitchen. :) Isabella is a treasure and I highly recommend!”

“Will absolutely book with Caitlin again! Her communication is excellent and I very much enjoyed getting pics of my girl throughout her stay. My dog is a senior and hasn’t been happy in kennel boarding before, but Caitlin was able to meet her needs and keep her content and happy the whole time. Great experience!”

“Emily and Caroline took amazing care of Coco!! We were visiting the Cape for a week and knew she was in great hands :) Frequent communication, super flexible with drop off/pick up, and a great fenced in backyard! Will definitely reach out if we are back in town in the future!”

“Alyne was so flexible and accommodating! We had some return travel disasters- a delayed flight and dead car at the airport. Alyne easily agreed to extending our stay for a night due to delay and dropped our dog off at home due to dead car! Our dog was so well cared for during his stay. Was so grateful to her and will definitely be contacting again!”

“As always Saffie had a great time at Caitlin’s! She sent lots of photos, was great at communicating, and Saffie was a very happy girl when I picked her up. We will definitely use Caitlin again!”

“Ann was great! We did a meet and greet ahead of time and communication was great for the overnight. You could tell Philly was comfortable the whole time. Will absolutely book again.”

“My German shepherd Justin had a great stay with Karen. We appreciated the flexibility and communication around his stay. Double check whether there will be other dogs there, as the host was listed as not having dogs, but there were a family member’s two small dogs at the house when I dropped him off.”

“I had to leave my very attached golden doodle overnight for the first time over the weekend when my sister was getting married. Julie offered to do a meet and greet a week ahead of time and immediately put my mind at ease! She is very welcoming ..even comfortable with my dog’s weird quirks (like trying to eat socks eek). It was great that she had a few dogs at once so they could play all day together as well. My dog had a great time and I didn’t have to worry at all while I was with my sister during such an important weekend. I highly recommend Julie. Especially if your dog needs friends to play with and a watchful person to make sure they don’t get into any trouble. :) Thank you so much Julie!”

About: Hello! My name is Annika, and I am a high school teacher looking for extra time with animals. I currently own two dogs and a cat, and have owned many animals in the past. One of my dogs is a year old, so I have plenty of puppy experience. All of the dogs I have owned are over 60 pounds, so I also have experience with large dogs. I am also aware of the large spectrum of different types of cat attitudes there are. I am so excited to get some extra animal time in my life. Please reach out if you think I can help you and your pup/cat! I am a teacher with the summer off. I do have some obligations throughout the summer, but will be able to help out when I can. I am aware of the needs that many different types of animals need. I know that puppies need lots of stimulation, older dogs still need love, and cats need what they want when they want it.
About: I grew up always having a dog and other pets in our home. I absolutely love animals! When I was 19 I got my first dog on my own, Kyla she was a yellow lab and the love of my life. “Karen watched our pup both for boarding and doggy day care over a very busy holiday weekend. She was wonderful - very flexible, pleasant and great at communicating. Our pup had a great time and was happy and tired when we picked him up. Will definitely reach out to Karen when we are back in the area. Thank you Karen!”

“So thankful for Helena and her cat! My lil guy Guinness had a wonderful day playing and walking and fetching. Happy to be dropped off, happy after I picked him up. Thank you Helena!! Will hit you up next time I’m on the cape with Guinness for sure.”

“I was traveling to the Cape to a Family Birthday Party all the way from Maine. My new Puppy, Chloe, has separation anxiety so I didn't want to board her for the 2 days I was going to be away. Someone reccomended ROVER and it worked out PERFECTLY for me. I only had to have a sitter for about 3 hours and Caitlin S. was happy to spend the time making my Chloe feel special. Caitlin S. sent me several pics throughout the evening on how well Chloe was fitting in with her new friends <3 Thank You Caitlin S.”

“we were looking for a home close by to our house where Quinnie could have some time to interact with other dogs in a safe and living environment. Jackie‘s home was perfect for what we were looking for. A large securely fenced yard plus a dog door. Quinnie seemed very comfortable with Jackie, her husband and their three adorable dogs. She spent six hours there and came home tuckered out, but she seemed very happy with the day. Jackie was very attentive and kept us informed. We would very highly recommend her!”

“We needed a Last minute option to put our dog for a few hours so we could do a last beach day on vacation . Megan reached back out to us right away ! She was super nice and her yard was beautiful and spacious for ranger to play while we were gone for a few hours .. we will definitely contact her for the future when in the area with our dog . Thank you Megan !!! Rover was great and led us to Megan !”

“Melissa took great care of our Mandy who is a senior dog and needs a little extra help. She was great in letting us know how Mandy was doing and we greatly appreciate Melissa’s communication.”

“We had a fantastic experience with Cindi through Rover while vacationing in Cape Cod. From the very beginning, she went above and beyond to make Finnegan feel comfortable and loved. She arranged a meet and greet a few days before the drop-off, during which she asked thoughtful questions and took notes on Finnegan’s preferences, showing her genuine care and attention to detail. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Cindi took Finnegan on multiple walks, demonstrating her dedication and love for dogs. Throughout his stay, she kept us wonderfully updated with photos and messages, which gave us peace of mind and made us feel connected even from afar. When it was time to pick him up, Finnegan ran right to her door like he owned the place a clear sign of how happy and comfortable he was with her. We will definitely be using Cindi again and highly recommend her to other dog owners looking for a caring, attentive, and reliable sitter.”

About: I’ve spent my entire life around dogs, and my background in professional animal care means your pet is in hands that truly understand animal behavior and safety. With three years as a professional Pet Care Specialist, I am well versed in daily care, behavioral monitoring, and administering medications for pets with specialized health needs. My additional experience in professional dog grooming also means I have the hands on patience needed for all sorts of pups; whether they be anxious, high energy, or seniors with special needs. I now work from home, and can provide dedicated, attentive pet care and boarding in a safe environment. As an added perk, I’m happy to offer in home bath and nail services, with a professional setup, so your dog comes home fresh! Because I work primarily from home, I have a clear, flexible schedule with plenty of dedicated time to spend with your dog. I’m available for boarding and other services any day of the week, allowing me to provide consistent attention, regular potty breaks, and a structured routine so your pup is never left alone for long stretches. My home is fully equipped to be a safe, fun, and adaptable "home away from home" for your dog. Here is what you can expect during their stay: • Play: We have a large, fenced backyard where your dog can safely run and play. We are located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood right next door to a large recreational field/park with a walking trail. For more adventurous pups, we also have excellent wooded trails nearby as well. • Socialization: My family will be more than happy to provide extra human interaction throughout the day if your dog is seeking it. We also have 2 friendly resident dogs (a gentle, senior Shih Tzu who mostly minds her own business, and a social English Pointer who will be happy to make new friends) and a cat who is well accustomed to dogs, but will mostly keep to himself. • Separation: While socialization is great, it's not for everyone. If your dog is anxious, or just feeling overwhelmed, I have my own private, dedicated space where they can get away from all the hubbub of the household, and enjoy some downtime. They are also more than welcome to share my furniture if they're more of a lap dog type! Whether it's puppies or elderly dogs I have experience with both and I always care for them as I do my own! Walking, running, playing, feeding, brushing, cleanup or even belly rubs! I love caring for animals! :) I am currently working part-time as a PCA, doing in home private care. Prior, I was full-time for 10 years with a woman who suffered a TBI. I am very flexible with my daily schedule as I can move my work hours around to fit my dog's clients needs. I don't bring dog's I am caring for to my house, as mine get too worked up! I can care for pet's in their home/yard and walk them from there. I also take some dogs to different trails, hikes, and dog parks. All up to the owner's preference! I am happy to do what works best :)

“Cindi was absolutely wonderful in caring for our dog Benny. We got daily updates and pictures letting us know how he was doing. The meet and greet was really thorough and made us feel like Benny would be at a home away from home while we were out of town. I would absolutely recommend Cindi to anyone looking for a wonderful pet sitter for their pup!”

About: Working professional on Cape starting Rover to exercise more and be with animals! Your pup or kitty come first: what are the instructions we talked about? What’s their mood/temperament at this visit? How many cute pics can I get before my phone storage is full again? Jokes aside, your pets routine and health/safety are what I’m here to maintain — I’ll communicate, play, chat while I give them meds wrapped in peanut butter — you name it, I am paying attention to them. I am in it for the quality animal time! I spent my childhood with horses and learned young how deeply connected we are to our animals. I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life until lately. I’d be delighted to meet some of you here on Cape to watch over your little ones! I work full time and am available for dog walks reliably all weekend and after work. I accept weekend dog boarding. Cat boarding I accept throughout the week in addition to weekends. The animal comes first, simple as that. I offer dog walks around Cape, in home visits to feed and play in the yard, and selective boarding of pups in my own home as that’s limited to weekends only. I offer house visits to kitties as well as selective boarding in my own home. Each scenario is unique — let’s chat!
