About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.

I currently have a 14 year old cat, Anya, who has IBD and gets various medications throughout the day, so I am comfortable with shots and oral medication. I felt very comfortable leaving him with her after meeting her. She made me feel at ease and seemed to really take to Gus. Glad to have found her. Gus seemed like he wanted to stay when I picked him up, which I thought was a good sign that he loved her and her family.”

And, while my dog is friendly like many retrievers, she's usually pretty cautious w strangers. Also, her large, completely fenced-in yard was perfect for my dog, whose strong preference is to be outside. I will definitely re-book.”

About: I’m a lifetime animal lover, and get along terrifically well with dogs. My house is the go-to for friends and family needing a place for their pups to stay. I am retired with volunteer jobs part-time (2mornings), during the week. I’m never away from home for more than a few hours during which time my dog-friendly feline can either ignore your dog or keep them company. Im home the majority of the time. Cozy corner in my den for bed. Seems to be everyone’s favorite hangout. Living room has multiple Sunny-spots Several neighborhood walks a day and if dog and owner are willing, I go to Thompson’s field in Harwich where they can romp.

“Harriet was an amazing sitter! She made sure to send me plenty of pictures while I was away and Fiona looked happy and chilled in all of them. It was also a great experience for Fiona because she got to know all the animals in the farm and she got along with them too. I didn’t know if she was good with cats and she is!
