“Katie went above and beyond in every aspect! She took care of my 2 kitties in my home for 2 weeks, coming over 2x a day, making sure they had all care provided plus plenty of playtime and cuddles. She responded to my booking request and messages quickly, did troubleshooting with Rover support on my behalf when I had issues with booking, sent great photos and detailed care summaries while I was away, offered to pick up necesities to make my return home easier...she even offered to drive over when my car needed a jump when I returned home to a dead battery in my car! I was very nervous leaving my kittens for 2 weeks, but she instantly made me feel at ease during our meet & greet: attentive, asked good questions, and she followed through with remembering all my verbal instructions when I forgot to leave behind a printed summary of care instructions. My kittens can have separation anxiety and haven't interacted with many new people--they instantly took to her (even the spicy one) and I loved seeing the many photos of her having a good time with them. About: I'll care for your pet like it's my own, and will provide ample ear scritches and snuggles as needed while they miss you during your time away. Our dogs share the couch and family spaces with us, but are crate trained as well. We go for walks daily and have playtime in the yard every 2-3 hours during the day if the weather is appropriate. We have two dogs, and an elderly cat that keeps to himself. Our yard is about an acre on a quiet dead end road and we have an electric fence for our pups, but can of course use leashes and leads as well!

About: I’m an animal lover at heart and have been helping care for dogs since I was little, at least 20 years and counting! I “dog-sat” throughout middle and high school for friends, family & neighbors. Happy to walk, play, feed, and then some. About: My dog passed away at age 18 and my family decided that we are not going to get another one. Being able to care for other people's dogs will be a joy. I am not good about updating my calendar. Reach out if you need care for your pet and if I am available, I will be happy to help! I am currently semi-retired and working part-time with a lot of flexibility in days and hours. Dog walking or pop in care will work for me. I won't be able to do any frequent regular visits as my schedule changes weekly. I am used to walking dogs and having dogs that are crate trained. I am a MPS Animal Science graduate from Cornell University who has an array of experiences with animals both large and small! About: I have had pets my whole life and have been trusted to care for them consistently. Having 2 of my own dogs and many reptiles/amphibians, my care for pets goes deeper than most. I am currently working on becoming credentialed as a NP so I am no longer working a full time job, making me free almost any day. About: My children and I absolutely love dogs, especially my 8 year old son. I work in the school system so we have the whole summer off to enjoy taking care of your pets! I live seconds from a walking trail so your pup can get plenty of exercise, love, and snuggles! I am available all summer long while school is out. July 1 through the end of August. I spend a few weeks teaching summer school- on those days I am home by 1 pm. Your pet will be safely cared for in my two bedroom apartment- with lots of snuggles, nature walks, and toys. I understand different dogs have different needs and I will cater to each pup as needed.
