About: I’ve had 8 fur babies from my childhood til now so you know the couch is always covered in fur. I’ve loved my mastiffs and labs, tabby cats, horses, and many small animals. I’m familiar with various dog and cat breeds and the amount of loving you should give them, even if it’s temporary. I’d love to care for your pet! A face full of fur is an excusable reason to replace therapy.. right?? I’m currently attending a couple online college classes for the summer, so my weekly availability is mornings & afternoons. No Thursdays. For weekend availability, please reach out a few days before. I hold a calm and happy manner with zero room for bitterness. I treat every animal as my own, with the occasional spoil of an extra treat (just for sitting happy and being cute). Respect goes for the owners as well! About: We first adopted a 12 year old dog from the shelter and at the age of 17, we had to put him down. It broke our hearts and decided to adopt others in his (Juno) memory. My husband and I have adopted 5 dogs since then and they are a great pack. We have a large yard and doggy door so they can come and go as they please. They go for walks and they're very well mannered, socialized dogs. I graduated from Animal Behavior College in May 2017 and train dogs as well and I'd be able to help with training if needed. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

Paige is a wonderful dog sitter--responsive, flexible and communicative. We were in town for sailboat racing and our hours changed several times and Paige was always flexible and understanding about our needs. I work a hybrid/remote schedule with flexibility to stay at your home to watch your pets overnight. About: I grew up dog sitting for my neighbors, friends, and cousins as I've always had a known strong passion for animals my whole life. I currently have an older Chihuahua, so I understand how to be extremely gentle, patient, and attentive to comfort, slower movement, and health needs. I also have a young, very active Yorkie that I personally trained to do tricks like speak, play dead, and give paw, along with other basic obedience skills. At my home, I have a fenced yard for secure outdoor time and two friendly dogs that can provide company if your pet is comfortable around others. About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and truly love having them around. I do tend to spoil them, but I always follow the instructions you, the parent, provide. I have had senior dogs and puppies and always give them the extra care they need. We are a retired couple and always enjoy having a dog around us. We have plenty of time to play with pups, and give them lots of love. We have a fenced in backyard to play in, comfortable beds to sleep in. About: I’ve taken care of my own pets my entire life and currently have 3 dogs of my own Scooter Lilly and Petey :) Love taking care of all animals however! My boxer, unfortunately, has a heart condition where the vet advised against walking him. We have owned both male and female boxers who are great around other pets.
