Candy readily agreed to a meet and greet to make sure it was a good match. Cody was right at home the minute he was let out of the car, especially when he saw the Bayou. It was very hot the week that Cody was staying with Candy; she still found ways to entertain and make comfortable Cody and his new friends. Cody is a major water dog and really enjoyed his time in the Bayou, not to mention the boat ride. Thank-you Candy for taking such good care of my baby and helping me to have a good vacation just knowing how much you care about the pooches that you are caring for. Enter Roger, our last-minute, Johnny-on-the-Spot superhero. From the moment he stepped in, Roger treated Stella like one of his own. He didn’t just walk her regularly — he made sure she got the exercise, attention, and affection she needed to feel safe and loved during a confusing time. He even embraced her quirks, including her very vocal opinions about dogs, horses, and — to our surprise — oxen on TV. Most sitters would’ve run for the hills. Roger? He laughed, turned down the volume, and gave her a belly rub. He let Stella sleep in his bed, kept her routine steady, and most importantly, gave us peace of mind when we needed it most. About: I’ve had multiple dogs growing up as well as lots of other animals! I often dog sit for my siblings and love having them. I like my home to feel like their home with little adjustment. I work at 5 am and come home for lunch and am back home by 12 and am home for the rest of the night. I live right by my job and they are very flexible with me. I love being home in the evenings and having someone to take walks with is ideal! My apartment is open to pets, furniture included unless specified. I will happily keep pets off your furniture if needed. I take regular walks with a leash for exercise to make up for the lack of hard at my house.

I am currently not working so I am free the majority of the time. This allows there to be little to no crating required during the day. I have a large fenced in backyard for free play and zoomies. About: I currently have two dogs. My miniature Aussie, Bonnie, is a 12 year old pup who I have had since she was a puppy. My other pup is a black lab named Spade and she is 13 years old. Caring for these two girls brings me so much happiness that I decided to branch out and offer pet care services. I currently care for one other dog, a vizsla, that is almost 3 years old. About: Ever since I was little, I’ve loved animals. I dreamed of becoming a veterinarian, took two years of veterinary classes, and even worked at a veterinary clinic as my first job. Life took me on a different route but I never stopped loving animals. About: I went to school for animal health and behavior and I use to be a zookeeper. I know my stuff! Also grew up on a farm. I currently have 3 dogs who eat breakfast and dinner of real food that I cook everyday. I am well aware of proper nutrition as well as behavior training since three dogs can get easily chaotic if not handled properly. We play everyday and have sun tanning time for 2 hours. No matter my schedule we stay with there's! I have a fenced in yard and my dogs are trained not to run out any door. We have safe toys in a toy box that we check for broken pieces that may be ingested.
About: I’ve loved and cared for animals for a very long time you can even say my whole life. I’ve raised cats, dogs, birds, chinchillas, even a chameleon from babies to adults. I’ve potty trained many puppies, taught them tricks, and even cared for pregnant mommas with puppies. Cats are more of my specialty though i’ve litter box trained them, taught them to walk on a leash, tamed feral cats/kittens. I also volunteer from time to time at the Acadiana Animal Aid shelter helping care for cats/dogs in need of homes. I’m currently working full-time. I have a mostly fenced yard where my dog Huck loves to play, it is a little small but we make do with the space we have. My dog and cats gets fed twice a day morning/evening. If I’m caring for an animal in a clients home I can visit in the mornings/lunch/evenings depending on the care needed.

It was very hot the week that Cody was staying with Candy; she still found ways to entertain and make comfortable Cody and his new friends. Cody is a major water dog and really enjoyed his time in the Bayou, not to mention the boat ride. About: I’ve had multiple dogs growing up as well as lots of other animals! I often dog sit for my siblings and love having them. I like my home to feel like their home with little adjustment. I work at 5 am and come home for lunch and am back home by 12 and am home for the rest of the night. I live right by my job and they are very flexible with me. I love being home in the evenings and having someone to take walks with is ideal! My apartment is open to pets, furniture included unless specified. I will happily keep pets off your furniture if needed. I take regular walks with a leash for exercise to make up for the lack of hard at my house.
