About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.

About: I volunteer my time to pet rescues and worked as a vet tech for 2 years at riverside animal clinic.i have 2 fur babies of my own and enjoy taking care of others I currently work full time at a dental office I'm off on weekends and have short days on Thursday off on Fridays but I am available to go before work. About: I know that you have many options for care. I have been working through Rover since early 2020 and would like to share some information about myself. I made the decision to take an early retirement after twenty-two years at Northwestern State University when my husband and I relocated to Shreveport and both of our children went off to college. This move gave me the opportunity to pursue a job that I ❤️ and am passionate about. I believe dogs and cats are the most awesome of Earth's creatures, and, in my eyes, are such precious members of our families. I am a long-time dog and cat owner and currently a parent to three rescued dogs. I also was an active volunteer and Board Member for Natchitoches Hope for Paws dog rescue from 2012 to 2022. During this time, I worked with 150+ rescued dogs at the site and through the foster program. I found so much pleasure and enjoyment working as a rescue volunteer and wanted to expand my love and care of these most precious of animals. As a volunteer, I cleaned kennels, administered medications, walked and played with dogs, worked with basic training techniques and leash walking, and evaluated and monitored dog behaviors and personalities for proper socialization and integration with other dogs including aggressive and high anxiety dogs. I treat all animals as if they are my own. I love all fur babies big, small, young, and old. I am available at any time and since I am retired, I am able to provide drop-in services, walks, and overnight care (for socialized and house trained dogs who are current on all shots and flea/tick preventives), including medication administration and care for aggressive and high-anxiety dogs. I have no problems with cleaning up accidents and will ensure that your home stays clean of messes. I am also a firm believer in sending pictures while you are away so you can be comforted that your dog (or cat) is receiving nothing but the upmost care and love while you are away. No requested service is to great or small! I would welcome the opportunity to help you with care needs for your fur babies! Since I am retired, I am available at any time for drop-ins, walks, and overnight boarding (socialized and house trained only). I am also able to work around flexible and changing schedules. About: Animals have always been a part of my life. I’ve rescued many and cared for cats and dogs for years, treating each one like family with love and safety. For everyone’s well-being, please make sure if your pet isn’t spayed or neutered, just let me know so I can plan one-on-one time for their comfort. To help them feel at home, please bring their usual food and a favorite toy for their stay. I’m fully available and happy to accommodate your schedule. Preferred drop-off and pick-up times are 8 AM, noon, or 5 PM, but I’m flexible if you need a different time. The only thing you need to bring is your dog’s food for the duration of their stay. If you’d like, you’re also welcome to bring their toy to help them feel more comfortable and at home. I have a dog-designed living room where pets sleep in kennels for comfort and routine. I also have a TV where I play soft, calming music to help them stay relaxed. I have a large backyard where dogs are taken out to play 3–4 times a day. During these breaks, they go potty and enjoy supervised play. If dogs get along and are a good match, they may play with other dogs one-on-one. For safety reasons, all dogs are taken outside using a secure tether at all times. This helps prevent escapes and ensures close supervision.

About: I’ve taken care of and raised small pets for as long as I can remember, but as I wasn’t able to have a dog of my own as a child, I’ve always taken every opportunity to babysit my older siblings’ and aunts’ dogs whenever they needed ever since I was 15 years old. I’ve now raised and trained my own two dogs from puppies (one is 4.5 years old and the other is 3.5 years old) and I also adopted my sister’s dog permanently, who is a senior (9.5 years old). I’m currently in nursing school, so my schedule is flexible around my classes! Since I’m in school Monday through Friday, I don’t work currently, so taking care of dogs is the only thing I do right now outside of school. And, as of right now, I am available any day of the week! I do have clinicals Monday through Wednesday, so those are the only days I am busy for more than 6 hours during the day, and wouldn’t be able to check on pups who would need more frequent care. Otherwise, I have plenty of spare time to spend helping take care of your pets! I am willing to follow any rules that you have in taking care of your fur babies in your home; I am comfortable with using crates, letting them out to play and potty at certain times, and following feeding guidelines, as well as anything else your dog needs! I have experience walking more than one dog at a time as well, up to 3! My own dogs are also very large, and tend to pull on the leash, so I can handle strong, non leash-trained dogs.

About: I work with Chimpanzees at Chimp Haven! I also have two amazing cats named Bellion and Kid! In addition I also have a bearded dragon named Thor. I have had animals since I was 3 and I have been caring for animals since then. I have experience walk training dogs and I have plenty of regular training experience as well. I use to volunteer with multiple dog and cat no kill shelters where I would walk, play, and groom with both dogs and cats. I would also go to events and communicate with potential adopters for these dogs, as I did these events I would be walk training the dogs so that when they get adopted they would know! I do work a full time job from 7am-4pm every day. My evenings are completely free and I currently have Saturdays and Sundays off from work so I am free all day on those days to help train or walk pets! Since my evenings are free I can check up or even stay the night to take care of your babies! My cats and lizard are very spoiled in our home. About: I’ve had my own dogs as well as taking care of other’s pets. I work mostly from home, so I have a lot of time to commit to your fur babies. I work from home as a self employed musician. I have all of the time in the world. This works best for owners who have to leave from long periods of time. I have a three bedroom apartment with one vacant room for the dog and only one roommate who is practically family. We already have bedding and toys and treats for potential stays.
About: I enjoy pet sitting, and I love taking care of animals! I am the proud co-owner of two beautiful dogs: Sugar, a Blue Heeler/German Shepherd mix; and Millie, a Chihuahua. My passions outside of animal care include crochet, theatre, reading, and spending time with my family. I am looking forward to helping your fur babies and making friends with them! I make sure that the dogs are fed and watered at the appropriate times and I am diligent about sending updates through the Rover app. Your animals will receive my full attention when they are in my care.
About: I can train puppies as early as 6 weeks old. This includes house training as well. For elder dogs it may take longer to train, but it is still possible. I also provide basic daily care such as feeding, walking, bathing, and grooming. I have nothing to do! I would rather watch your pet all day. Caring for animals is my dream and I’d love to fulfill it with yours. I have a two bedroom apartment in which I’ve turned my second room into my “pet room” I have a 8 month old puppy to keep your fur baby company!
About: I’m a military member waiting to continue my training. I would love to spend my time playing and walking pets. I have had a dog since I was 5 years old and a cat since I was 7. I love all animals dearly. I worked through Rover at my last assignment as well! My week days are typically very free and I can be available on a moments notice. I can plan ahead to be available on weekends as well. I unfortunately cannot take animals into my home but promise to respect your home and your pets. All animals deserve a loving home and I would never want to disrupt that.
About: I have experience with dogs and cats my entire life. Have always been a huge animal lover. I have a 1 1/2 year old cat that keeps me on my toes and my roommate has a 6 year old blue pit (the son of my late Pit) and she also has a 1 year old miniature dachshund. Experienced with young to senior pets. I also have had years of experience with ferrets and birds! No animal will go unloved! I have a part time job, so plenty of time for fetch, walks, or simply loving on your animals. I’m good with overnight stays and even administering medicine if needed. I have crating experience as well as yard/no yard. I’m experienced with cleaning cages as well! My pets love a good porch sit and I love sitting with them. Not to mention the ample amount of toys!

About: I am a huge animal lover I actually have 4 dogs. I am a college student so I will be away for 3-4 hours max 2 days a week. I’ve had dogs for 9 years and before that had cats. About: I volunteer on my off time at my local dog rescue. I also have fostered many dogs in the past year for Caddo shelter and Parish Paws. I grew up around dogs and own two of my own who are always willing to play with other dogs. If there’s ever a concern of aggressive I separate the dogs when let out for potty breaks or in the house. I am taking off work for the next two months so my schedule is open minus a couple dates here and there. You can expect me home majority of my days. My pets are always fed and given water through the day and let o it frequently. They enjoy playing fetch or running in the yard and going on car rides or walks.
About: I have 4 dogs of my own and one cat. I have cared for pets as long as I can remember. My dogs are all house trained and crate trained they also are well mannered and like other pets. I can house train and also train dogs to do certain tricks. I'm 27 years old and own my own home with a large fenced in back yard. My house has no carpet so accidental pet messes can be cleaned easily. I have my own transportation to house sit or dog walk any time I am needed. About: Pet sitting is awesome because I want to spend time with as many wonderful pets as I can. I'll treat them just as well as I would like my pets to be treated since I know how important they are. Prior to Good Dog, I would pet sit for family, friends and neighbors. They deserve the best care even the little rambunctious ones. I have been working and volunteering in pet care for years. Interacting with any animal makes me happy but bunnies will always have a special place in my heart.
