“I can’t thank Michele enough for her dedication and care she provided to my two cats while I was states away for a week! I am always leery when leaving my cats at home and having friends drop in to check on them. I get nervous that they may run out the door or develop a sickness that will go unnoticed (which happened a month ago). With Michele, I knew immediately that this would not be an issue. Her attention to detail and experience with her own cats gave me peace of mind that my cats would be more than taken care of. Every day I was sent multiple pictures of both cats, their litter boxes, and food bowls. Michele kept their litter boxes in perfect condition and even would wash their food bowls. After booking with Michele, my cats were prescribed supplements for their immune system. Last minute, I had to tell her that both of my cats would require this supplement to be given during meals. She had no issue with this and was not phased in the slightest! She is truly a rockstar. Despite my cats being extremely shy, Michele treated them as if they were her own. She was patient and understanding. I can’t wait to go on future trips now and book with Michele, she truly is the best.”

I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings. Before I leave for work all pets are fed and taken outside. About: I used to babysit the children of two veterinarians, so I was able to learn a great deal of animal care at a young age. I have volunteered at the local animal shelter since 2014. While I was a teacher, I used to take students twice a week after school to volunteer. I occasionally foster for the local shelters, especially in special cases when pets needed medicine or to be bottle fed. I am the person friends and family call when they have questions about their pets and/or they need someone to watch them. I am in a master's program at SLU for private practice counseling. Classes are every other Monday and every other Tuesday 2-4:45. I have internship Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon. I have plenty of time in the mornings, most afternoons, and evenings to walk, feed, visit/play, etc. I am someone that has a huge soft spot for the fur babies. I have created the spoiling habits with my babies, so I am diligent about adhering to other people's ways and habits with their babies. I lost my 16 year old rat terrier a year ago. She dealt with lots of anxiety, especially when I was not around, so I try to give the babies extra love knowing they probably feel off without their humans. Also, my Lucy developed canine dementia the last 9 months of her life. I have a great amount of patience and compassion for the aging babies.

I do require a meet and greet ahead of time with any new pups that will be staying with us - mainly to make sure we're the right fit and our pack gets along safely with yours. I also request dogs visiting with us be preferably fully potty trained, cat friendly, UTD on vaccinations and also on some sort of flea preventative as our babies have a slight flea allergy. Important: If you're outside of radius (10 miles or more), I do charge an extra fee of $10 to cover mileage and the time to travel to your home. Big, small, or exotic (I've owned tarantulas, rabbits, hedgehogs and snakes in the past) - I promise that your baby will be in great hands and be treated just like they're our own: spoiled rotten and loved!

If a pet is in my home, I try to make them as comfortable as possible in a new environment. That includes a possible test visit (if wanted), and consistent updates to pet owners. If in a client home, I stick to the routine provided and ensure that the pets are safe and well cared for, and check in with pet owners consistently.
About: I am a young professional in the Minneapolis area. I grew up with all kinds of animals including two dogs, three cats, a few hamsters and two horses. As a young professional it's difficult to have pets and give them all the love and attention they deserve, so I devote my spare time to taking care of the pets of others! I really enjoy being outside and getting active so walking dogs is a perfect hobby for me. I am extremely punctual, reliable, and a complete animal lover. About: I love all animals - cats, dogs, reptiles, and everything in between - except spiders. I am also a dog trainer. I can have your dog trained while I sit with them - a number of different tasks from the basic obedience, some advanced skills. The advantage of booking with me: when you board your pets (like dogs) at the big kennel places that board more than one dog, you run the risk of your dog coming home with a communicable disease such as Bordetella, kennel cough, just a name a few. When you book with me, it gives your dog the special attention it needs and craves without being around other possibly sick pets. I have several references if desired. My children are old enough to take care of themselves now, so if I need to go check in on or walk your dog, I’ll be there. My wife is truly supportive as well. I have a large fenced-in yard. I also have crates available for dogs who need their alone time and need to be crated when we leave the house. Although we can accommodate boarding, it will need to be limited to smaller dogs than a Labrador. Our dog gets intimidated sometimes by dogs her size. She loves to play though, and run - she will definitely keep your pet entertained!
About: I have watched friends, family, and neighbors dogs for over 10 years! I even used to work at a doggie daycare where I cared for up to 40 dogs at once and bathed and groomed dogs weekly. I'm currently a freshman in college so I have free time in the afternoon and most Saturdays. I also have most holidays off and would be available at those times. About: Became a dog/cat bather for a grooming salon at the age of fifteen years old. I’ve had pets of all shapes and sizes and breeds my whole life. The maximum amount of animals I have taken care of has been 10 animals at once in my own home! Super familiar with tons of breeds and personalities of fur babies! About: I have a weird work schedule, but I can come to your house to walk and/or feed your pets during the day while you’re at work or away on vacation. I can also come stay at your house and house-sit for you as well (water plants, clean litter boxes, feed fish, etc). Unfortunately, I live in an apartment and don’t have a yard, so watching your pet at my house will be a case by case basis. I am honest, reliable, and trustworthy. I have a dog and a cat of my own, and I have been house/pet sitting for friends and family for 10+ years. The majority of my experience is with dogs and cats but I follow instructions well and I am open to other pets as well. I was also a registered foster for the local shelter, and I helped them out with foster dogs when I could. I am currently working full-time less than 5 minutes from home. I feed my dogs and let them out around 7:00 am before work. My husband is home with our dogs until 2:00 pm before he leaves for work. I arrive home around 5:00 pm and I spend most of my evening in the backyard if possible. I have a fenced in yard and a basket full of toys. I have 2 dogs of my own that enjoy playing with others, so your pet is sure to be in good company.
