About: As someone who has worked with a variety of domesticated felines, I’ve learned that the last thing a cat wants is a sitter. Lol. Most just want someone who can scoop their box and open their can of food. I’m a professional in that area. I’m also good at reading kitty behavioral cues. I can usually tell if a feline is going to be my friend or not. I know when to give them their space. I’ve watched kitties who are social and some that are shy. I’m pretty good with a laser and always enjoy playing with or sitting with a sweet cat or cats. I can also prepare special diets and give insulin shots. The Kitties always train me well!

About: I am a 2nd year student at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge. I grew up with a love for animals and decided to turn my passion into my career. I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. I have small animal clinic experience so I am very comfortable with giving medications, identifying signs of anxiety or pain, and providing loving care to any animal. About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. Some families prefer pet sitters to stay at their homes overnight and spend most of their day caring for the pet while other families prefer sitters to drop in every 4 hours or so to feed, provide water, entertain, and walk the animal. I’m ok doing which ever but my schedule might differ depending on the week but communication is all that matters! I cannot offer boarding since I will be moving into a non pet friendly apartment soon but for overnight/day pet sitting I will just follow your directions and rules!
About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and patience I have for animals. I’m 29 years old, born and raised in Louisiana, and I’ve been caring for pets for over 5 years. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, not just a job or side hustle. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pets because they’re family. I have two cats of my own, so I know the importance of making pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I’m experienced with both dogs and cats of different personalities, ages, and energy levels — from playful puppies and kittens to older pets that need extra patience and gentle care. I want pet owners to have peace of mind knowing their babies are in caring, reliable hands. I’m currently working part time so I would have plenty of time for your loved ones. I’m available Monday-Sunday Mornings at 8am to 12pm . Evenings 6:30 to 8pm. I’m able to provide pets with a comfortable indoor space in my spare bedroom, giving them a calm and safe environment while in my care. I also have a spacious backyard where pets can enjoy fresh air and outdoor time safely on adjustable leashes, allowing them room to move around comfortably and stretch their legs based on their needs and activity level.

About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’ve never sought out an animal, I’ve only taken in animals when other people couldn’t continue caring for them. I adore any animal and love connecting with them. I also previously worked at Camp Bow Wow so I’ve worked with 100’s of dogs with different temperaments, personalities, and personal needs. While working there I had to give all sorts of meals and medicines. Everyday, I have to do basic pet tasks such as feeding, changing water, changing litter, and medications. I also walk my dogs multiple times a day. I follow any basic rules set out for me, i.e. diet, walk time, social time. They are the children of the owner and I understand they sometimes need special care or the pet and owner have a certain routine in place. But I have basic knowledge on plenty animals and can gladly care for them as if they are my own.

About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.

About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and the importance of consistent, attentive care. Over the years, I’ve become comfortable working with dogs of all ages and needs—from energetic puppies who require patience and structure, to senior dogs who benefit from a gentler, more attentive approach. I also have experience caring for dogs with medical needs and am confident in following detailed care instructions, including administering medications when needed. I’m especially mindful with anxious or shy dogs, taking the time to build trust and create a calm, reassuring environment so they feel safe and secure. I am currently working full-time less than 5 minutes from home. I feed my dogs and let them out around 7:00 am before work. My husband is home with our dogs until 2:00 pm before he leaves for work. I arrive home around 5:00 pm and I spend most of my evening in the backyard if possible. I have a fenced in yard and a basket full of toys. I have 2 dogs of my own that enjoy playing with others, so your pet is sure to be in good company.
