“I highly recommend Iryna for dog sitting! She took good care of my dog for 5 nights and kept me updated me the whole time. I will definitely book with her again.”

“This is Chaucer's second time staying with his "uncle Mike." I don't think I could enjoy my vacation if Mike wasn't taking care of my dog! I loved all the photos and videos Mike faithfully sent every day. 10 stars!”

“Serena was incredible. She was very responsive, flexible to some of my last minute schedule changes, and really sweet with my dogs. I have zero complaints and would absolutely recommend her!”

“Regina was the best! This was the first time I’ve left my dog Claire with someone and felt really good about it. She sent pictures and updates throughout the day and I couldn’t recommend her enough. I think Claire was even a little sad when I picked her up, they got along so well. Will definitely book with Regina again!”

“Aja was great! I’m always anxious at first when I leave my dog on trips because he is shy in new environments. Luckily Aja was very reassuring and responded right away whenever I asked how he was doing. I am very grateful that I received plenty of photos, videos, and detailed updates that showed he was still playing and having fun with her dogs. Thank you so much!”

“My dogs were spoiled during my time away! I received daily updates and pictures/videos to prove they had a great time! Thank you, thank you, thank you!”

“Katherine was amazing with my girl. She took great care of her and provided feedback about how she was doing and some pictures throughout, which gave me some peace of mind so I was able to enjoy my trip. Thank you! My little old lady baby came home happy and tired. I could tell she really enjoyed her time with them and I would 100% recommend.”

“ I'm so glad that Jeaux and I had the opportunity to book with Ms. Elena. She also has a Toy Chihuahua named Paco and they became like "three peas in a pod!” My drop-off day was very hectic and behind schedule due to me preparing to go out of town, but Ms.Elena was pleasant and patient with me. When we arrived to her home, we were welcomed into a beautiful, clean space with Southern Hospitality galore! During the stay she emailed me updates along with pics and videos of their playtime. Once I arrived home she offered to meet me at a convenient location to drop-off my baby, that she now calls “her baby”, since we lived a bit of a distance from one another. Sooo sweet...but that's not the best part. When I received Jeaux he had been bathed, his bed and towel washed and she even sent him home with his favorite toy from the visit! If you want someone to treat your dog like their own, this is the place. My experience with Ms. Elena was pleasant from start to finish and I would highly recommend her services. Jeaux gives her two paws up :)”

“This was our first time using Rover and I’m so glad we did because we found Randy. He took such good care of our senior chihuahua and sent pics every day. It was so comforting to know that Paco was getting all the comforts of home. We will definitely be using Randy in the future and have also referred a couple friends!”

“This was my first time using Mary for my little corgi, Beignet. Beignet sent two weeks with Mary and when I picked her up, she was happy and healthy, her weight was good and she had her normal appetite. It was obvious that she really took a serious liking to Mary. I am very grateful for the kind, loving care that was given to my little dog. I would recommend her to anyone!”

“WOW! What a great stay my maizy had! The pictures I got I will save for a lifetime. Filled with so many activates and great communication the entire time. I would highly recommend!!”

“Jon took amazing care of my dog! Sent videos and picture updates. Gave me a tour of his house and yard so I knew my dog would be comfortable. Can’t recommend Jon enough”

“Michael was excellent. He communicated frequently, sent pictures, and made drop off and pick up easy for me. I would recommend Michael to doggysit for your pet.”
“Natalie was amazing! We booked with her to board our dog for a weekend while we’re were in town visiting. She sent us plenty of pictures and updates throughout the stay which we really appreciated! She took great care of our dog and we’re so thankful :)”

“Michael and Rachel took absolutely wonderful care of my dog Gizmo while I was away! From the moment we met, I could tell they genuinely love animals and treat them like family. They were attentive, responsible, and incredibly kind — sending me regular updates and photos that made me feel completely at ease. Gizmo came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. It’s such a relief to know he was in such caring and capable hands. I highly recommend Michael and Rachel to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate dog sitters!”

“There’s not enough thank you notes I can give Sarah. As we are traveling across states for the holidays, she accommodated us and took care of my baby. We had many issues in our traveling and she still accommodated. I also loved that Sarah took Pluto out several times throughout the day and he obviously felt right at home. I’d recommend her to everyone! She was amazing!”

About: I have over 7 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, focusing on daily walks and overnight care. For the past 5 years, I have raised my own gentle pup, Poopoo, who is well-trained and keeps me experienced in consistent walking, feeding, and providing comfort at night. Before that, I spent 2 years in Korea helping my family raise another dog, giving me a strong background in handling different breeds and personalities. I also have 2 cats at home who are very friendly with other pets! Neighbors, friends, and family have trusted me not only to walk their dogs but also to care for them overnight when they travel. I make sure each dog feels safe and loved—whether it’s long walks for active dogs, gentle care for seniors, or overnight stays where they get the comfort of a steady routine. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to dog walks and overnight care. I usually work part-time, so I’m available for morning and evening walks on weekdays, as well as extended overnight stays when you need to travel. On weekends, I can offer even more flexible availability for boarding and longer walks, making sure your pup gets the exercise, love, and attention they deserve. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. At home, I live in a pet-friendly environment with a calm, well-trained dog who is used to other pets. I make sure walks are always safe—using secure leashes and keeping a close eye on surroundings. For overnight care, I provide a quiet and comfortable space where your pup can feel at ease, and I always follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, routines, and any special needs.
“Stacey was fabulous with our dogs. I'm so glad my friend recommended rover.com. Never leaving them before in the past with anyone else, she was fabulous with both of them they took to her immediately. She also was great about sending updates and photos during our trip away. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs personal care and love for their pet when they go out of town and need a sitter. Thanks again Stacey, Cathy C. ?”

“Samantha took such great care of our two cats while we were gone! Very professional and capable- would absolutely recommend and book her services.”

“Kelly was excellent! I travel out of the country pretty often and couldn’t find someone as responsible and responsive as Kelly. She took care of my baby cat, gave him medication that he needs and followed all the instructions I gave her. The most important is that I had that peace of mind once I know Kelly is watching him Thank you so much and I will definitely use her services again when I travel!!! ❤️”

“Simon was a phenomenal caretaker for my guy Cornelius. Checked in and out with every visit, communicated amazingly throughout the entire time. He definitely has a knack for taking great doggo pics. Was also able to accommodate a last minute booking and extension of service due to travel delays. Highly recommend booking with him if you want someone caring about your dogs much as you do while you’re not there!”

“Hanna was great. She came by to see the house and meet the cats prior to booking. She made sure to know our communication preferences and sent pictures every day. Our cats were happy when we got home! We definitely recommend Hanna for a house or pet sit!”

“Bianca was great! She made a real effort with my kitties while I was gone for about 2 weeks. They played a lot, loved getting brushed and got many treats. Bianca left my house clean, all litter changed and swept up. During the visit, our keypad battery started giving a "low battery signal," Bianca let us know, and offered to change it. I provided directions and she was able to figure it out seemslely and change the batteries at the next visit to prevent any distribution to kitty care. She watered our plants, too! Would recommend Bianca for your cat sitting needs.”

“Ellen was terrific. Highly responsive, followed our instruction to a tee, and made sure our cat Loki feel loved and played with in our week long absence despite the chaos of getting to our house during Mardi Gras. We would absolutely hire Ellen again!”

“Daphne cared for my 17 year old cat who required multiple medications, and needed lots of TLC. I would not hesitate to use her again, as she is mature, responsible, and doesn’t just do the bare minimum necessary. She really spent time with my cat, and I received lots of feedback and pictures.”

“Natalie did a wonderful job checking in on my cat while I was on vacation! She spent the full 30 minutes with him each day, playing with him, refilling his food and water, and cleaning out the litter box. She also sent plenty of pictures each day. Highly recommend!”

About: I love cats and have two of my own! Growing up, I had 6 indoor/outdoor cats and I learned a lot about what it means to be a cat owner. I have done a lot of cat sitting, and as a long time cat owner I understand what is required when taking care of someone else’s cats.
“Caitlin is great with our cat, Lola. Lola can be nervous at times but she always looks forward to seeing Caitlin. Caitlin is reliable and always provides detailed updates about Lola.”

“This was our first time using Rover and we had such a great experience with Stacy and Patrick! Stacy and Patrick did overnight stays with our cats and they truly went above and beyond. They did such a great job looking after our cats. We recommend them and will definitely use them again.”

“Lindsay somehow managed to make my cat Luca actually cone out of hiding and become friends with her. He is usually stressed out when I leave and he now seems totally relaxed. I think he may have even been disappointed to see me instead of her walk in the door when I returned from a trip (haha) She an absolutely wonderful petsitter.i can’t say enough!”

About: I have 2 cats who are now 12 years old and have a multitude of health issues, meaning I’m highly experienced with both liquid and pill medications for cats. I adore playing with cats or being a cuddle buddy during nap time. Whatever the cat wants, they get (as most cat owners know).
“Carson did a great job of taking care of our 2 kittens while we were out of town for a few days!! She was so flexible and even helped out our friends by watching their kitten (from the same litter) at our house at the same time! I’m so glad they got so much playtime and entertainment, I don’t even think they noticed we were gone!”
“Fabulous! Michelle arrived early for our meet and greet and my kitty took to her right away! Michelle is super friendly, has a great energy to her, and asked all the right questions about future drop-in visits. We look forward to many visits with Michelle in the future.”

“Faith was great with my four cats! Even the one who hides all the time she made sure he had his food. Twice a day feedings and litter maintenance. Will for sure request her again!”

“Emily is absolutely amazing. She is the only person I bring Petey to when I will be out of town and need someone to take care of him or when I need to drop him off for the day! She is really great with all dogs and her animals are super friendly and accepting. She also takes plenty pictures and gives updates via rover and text regularly. She is the only person I trust with my pup!”

“Michael is wonderful. He was accommodating and able to work with our schedule. Our dog was very relaxed and happy when we picked him up. We will definitely be using Michael again.”

“Ashley was a true professional and made sure my dog had a well balanced day of rest, play and walking ! I am definitely planning to request more dog sitting from her!”

“Ellen is one of the best. She took loving daycare of Charley and was so good at keeping in touch with photos! My upcoming trip will be so much less stressful knowing Charley is with her when I'm away.”

About: I grew up raising dogs and cats in my household. Since 2010 I've adopted pets on my own, cats and a dog. I currently have one cat I rescued as a kitten three years ago and a dog who loves to play that I rescued 2 years ago from a shelter. Im a teacher who loves spending time with pets and I enjoy the extra excitement that comes from watching little ones for those who are out of town. I love showering pets with affection and all the care they need to be joyous and safe. I love walks and play time with all my animals. Getting to help make a pet feel loved would be a perfect use of my time.
About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“Oshie was very responsive and willing to accept our reservation at the last minute. She was very flexible with our schedule as we came to town for a last minute vacation. Jaxx enjoyed his stay with her, and he felt very comfortable and at ease with her!”

“Ms. Etta is always great with Bronx! I literally never have to worry about him when he’s with her. She treats my boy like one of hers and I’m so glad we found her 😊”

“Alyssa is amazing! HIGHLY recommend. She took in my doggie for day care services somewhat last minute and made my rescue/anxious dog feel so comfortable and loved. She was super communicative throughout the day and always made me know my dog was being take of.”

“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

“10/10 would recommend, 10/10 will be a repeat customer! Rizzo had so much fun, she can’t wait to go back. Completely hassle free and painless. Rizzo loved her walks and has a another best friend!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

“Kelly is amazing! So many thank yous for taking care of my doggo! You’ve been a huge help in keeping him happy and healthy. You’ve pivoted from dog walking to helping shuttle my little furry dude home from doggy day camp. Due to my work schedule at the hospital not allowing me to pick him up, you have become such a blessing. Thank you thank you thank you and I cannot recommend you enough!”

“A great first meeting. Hannah was on time and attentive to my concerns. My boy laid his head on her foot within minutes of meeting. I feel fortunate that Hannah is close to our place.”

“I have a pretty nervous Pitty and Lindsay has been wonderful with him. He has really opened up to her and looks forward to his walks. He doesn’t like a lot of people, but he likes Lindsay!”

“Daphne was a great sitter for my senior basset hound when I went out of town for a weekend. She came on time and left detailed notes and many pictures for each visit. I would recommend Daphne to anyone looking for a dog sitter/walker!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats in my life since I was a kid, so caring for animals comes naturally to me. One thing that sets me apart is my experience with senior and younger pets. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would expect in return. Your pets safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: Growing up in a big schnauzer household, I’ve had my own dogs for the last 5 years, have been fostering for 4, and have been working within animal rescue for the last 3 years. I’m excited to get to know and hang with your pup(s). I’m a freelance film worker, so I have weeks at a time between jobs. I spend that time working with local rescues to locate missing and stray dogs, so I’m already primed to walk dogs in the neighborhood. I have a small fenced yard with grass, and two smaller dogs who are experienced in having brand new friends in the house. I have a senior pup who relies on the potty pad, so we’re no strangers to that routine.
“Michelle is wonderful with my new rescue pup, Harriet. Michelle is on time, treats Harriet like her own fur baby, and is a great communicator. It’s so nice to have peace of mind knowing Harriet is in loving and responsible hands. Thanks, Michelle!”

“Deana was great! Such a savior on a busy day for a last minute walk for my dog! She was a great communicator and was very flexible. Would definitely book more recurrent walks with her!”

“My dog, Boscoe Butterfly, is a lot. He is 85 pounds and likes to lick people’s faces. Ryan is wonderful with the butterfly. I have had the chance to get to know Ryan as a human being, and that guy is wonderful too.”

About: Although I’ve been sitting via Rover since November 2023, I have been house & pet-sitting for friends for many years. I have experience with very large dogs (i.e. 80+ lb German Shepherds) who are ‘dog-reactive’; walking same-residence dogs in pairs who have a large age difference; walking same-residence dogs separately due to large age difference; and multiple cats with a mix of indoor & outdoor plus indoor/outdoor hybrid. Since joining Rover, I have added quite a lot of experience with senior dogs including some who are sight and hearing impaired, as well as varying degrees of doggy dementia. Walking with dogs is genuinely one of my favorite things to do- I keep my phone pocketed during dog walks, both for safety and to simply enjoy the walk. I’m a generous belly rubber & scratcher, am content to play catch on a near infinite loop, and am a happy recipient of licks from the pooches and biscuit-making from the kitties. I work from home booking live music entertainment for events. The vast majority of my work is laptop and phone based, with occasional in-person meetings and events to drop by. When I am on a pet stay I don't go out at night socially, and I cook at home or order in. I get out most days to exercise and every couple days to grocery shop. I have a hierarchy of my approach and goals when staying with pets. First, the foundation is safety & well being. This is safe walking, a safe home, eating & sleeping normally, medications, etc. Second is comfort and routine- my goal is for your pet to not be anxious because you are away. I look for signs of anxiety and do my best to allay fears & stress. Third is a love connection- when I depart from a pet stay, I want to miss your pets in the kind of way that you do when you have to leave home. And finally, given everything else goes according to plan, the lagniappe of a great stay is that your pet experienced a ‘staycation’ - that they come to understand that my very existence is for them specifically, and maybe they get even more doted upon than they normally do, what with busy schedules and lives and such. The best sign of a great stay with your pet(s) is that when you return, while they are obviously happy to see you, they are pretty relaxed about it.
“Darin is a great friend to animals and goes at their speed which is important for one of our girls who is unsure of everything. He is also communicative and reliable. Would absolutely recommend!”

About: My father raised and trained dogs so I have been caring for dogs since childhood. I have been personally caring for my own dogs as well as dogs of family and friends for the past seven years. I am medically trained for emergencies and can care for special needs and sick dogs. I will treat your pet with the love and kindness as I do my own. I can be available day and night, weekends and holidays even on short notice. I am hoping to make this a full-time position and will be available seven days a week 24 hours a day and can provide same-day service. I will follow all rules of the home in which I am sitting. I will never leave pets unattended. They will have my full attention and safety is my number one priority.

“Roxanna was so great with my dog and was super understanding about my anxiety in leaving him. I will def be hiring her again next time I need someone to look after him. He came home happy and tired - good things!”

“Etta is an exceptional person with pets . Zoe, our previous pup, had the privilege of spending many occasions with Etta. Currently, we have Coco, and Coco spent the last 21 days with Etta. Coco is deeply fond of her. The photographs and information provided during Coco and Zoe’s stay are invaluable. Etta consistently shared daily pictures and updates about Coco. I have been thoroughly at ease entrusting Coco to Etta’s care.💕”

“Ben was incredible! His knowledge of pups with health issues was impressive and his sweet disposition won over my picky pup in seconds! I will positively be using Ben again when I’m back in town! So happy to have found him!”

“Blake was amazing. She was available to take Luna last minute and Luna took to her really well. She was also really conveniently close to home about 4 mins from the house. Would definitely book again and recommend”

“Canine Comradery & Intensive Care Our energetic boxer, Tess, is a “social butterfly”. Since she is an “only dog” at home, she loves staying with Emily because she gets to live with a pack of dogs, including multiple visitors sometimes. Her dogs are veteran hosts to a plethora of dogs from all walks of life. When we are out of town enjoying a different kind of living, so does Tess … at Emily’s. Our dog could not be happier with us humans than she is with MJ, Bodaycious, Baby Girl, et cetera, et cetera. In addition to the experience and hospitality that Emily and her dogs provide, I appreciate her flexible schedule, ability to give more than adequate bathroom breaks, and her history of devotion to caring for dogs that need help the most.”
“Aoife had a great time staying with Rachel and Matthew. They were prompt with the communication providing pupdates over the weekend. They took a great care of our doggy, and all of her belongings also came back in excellent shape (which is not always the case with boarding). We will definitely use boarding with Rachel again, thank you!”

“We couldn’t be happier with Myk! He took our Labradoodle, Juno, on very short notice, and from the moment we dropped him off, we knew he was in great hands. Myk kept us updated throughout Juno’s stay with plenty of photos and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind. He was always quick to reply whenever we reached out and made the whole experience completely stress-free. Juno looked like he had an absolute blast playing with Myk’s Lab, Izzy, and even spending time around his cat, Peri. It was obvious he was comfortable, well cared for, and treated like part of the family. Seeing how happy Juno was made all the difference. If you’re looking for someone who is kind, dependable, communicative, and genuinely loves animals, I highly recommend Myk. We’ll definitely be booking with him again, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to friends and family. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our boy!”

“Lindsey is great! My dog Ruby loved staying with her and her dog. She sent us pictures and videos every day. She is incredibly responsive and obviously cares about the animals she takes care of. We will definitely book with her again!!”

“Anne took care of my dog for a long weekend and was a pleasure. Easy to book, communicate with and accommodated my schedule. And sent pictures which is the best! :)”
