“Iryna is fantastic. I could tell immediately that she and her family love animals. Her pup was super sweet when we arrived, so that was a bonus. This was our first time booking with Iryna, which I can find a little stressful. I had nothing to worry about bc she put me at ease immediately. She had great communication throughout the entire stay and kept us updated with plenty of pictures. She noticed a wound on our pup that we weren’t aware of, cleaned and treated it, and let us know right away. We also had a last minute medication request for a separate issue, and she was incredibly accommodating without hesitation. It was clear that she cared for our guy like he was her own. “We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. Jon's house is also on a side street that made drop off really easy. We received multiple updates and the cutest photos the whole weekend! Our pack definitely had a great time. They loved the backyard! We have a senior dog with mobility issues that he was very careful with, and another pom with some hearing and vision loss and he was wonderful with both. It was very obvious that Jon loves dogs and took care of our fur babies like they were his own! When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover. “Emily is absolutely AMAZING!!! I work in the area and don’t know anybody, here. I had an emergency situation come up and needed somebody to look after my 3 dogs for an ambiguous amount of time (I did not know if I was going to be looking at a daycare sitch or a multi-day stay.) I made a reservation and sent a message to Emily after midnight on a Thursday about coordinating for the next morning and she responded immediately!!! She really reeeeeeeally helped me out of a jam, and even came to pick my kids up for me so I could begin to address my situation right away, even though I am staying well out of her way! She is a doll, and her own pups are a hoot! I couldn’t recommend her more! While living and working on the road it is incredibly stressful to address the contingency where you may not be able to attend to your babies, my dogs and my cat are with me 100% of the time and I have often found myself fretting about what to do, should something happen to me. Emily swooped right in and put my mind well at ease so that I could address my own needs without the weight of worrying!”

“If I could leave 10 gold stars I would! Lindsey took such good care of my very spoiled little pugs. They hate being alone and I don't think they had a moment unattended in the 5 days they spent with Lindsey. Her dog Lola sealed the deal for the pugs as they love other dogs and feel like it's a party if other furry beings are around. On the second morning we were to take the dogs to Lindsey they didn't get off the couch. As soon as we asked if they wanted to see Lola, they were immediately at the door- such a good sign! Every night we picked up happy, tired doggies. We were able to visit New Orleans without worrying about our babies. A Godsend! Thank you so much Lindsey. We so appreciate you!”

About: I am now retired and have total availability. For walks or drop ins I need to keep my service area within 5-7 miles. For longer stays I am willing to expand my area upon request. I began my pet care as a child, taking home every stray dog I saw. Nursing sheep, stray cats, bunnies, you name it. I was then a vet tech, rescue foster, and sitter. Because I have two friendly resident dogs, all boarding and daycare guests must be comfortable around dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and genders. Playgroups are carefully matched based on temperament, play style, size, and energy level. My home is generally best suited for low to medium energy dogs, and I especially love caring for senior pets and laid back personalities. High energy dogs are welcomed on a case by case basis. Safety is always my top priority, so I do have a few requirements before accepting bookings. • Dogs should be potty trained. I completely understand that occasional accidents happen, especially during transitions or with puppies learning routines. However, frequent accidents or ongoing indoor marking may not be the best fit for my home. • Puppies are welcome, but I ask that owners are completely transparent about their current potty training progress and care needs. • Please disclose any bite history, behavioral concerns, previous daycare dismissals, reactivity, resource guarding, destructive habits, separation anxiety, escaping crates, counter surfing, digging, chewing, or other behaviors that may affect their stay. • Dogs displaying normal stress behaviors such as growling, air snaps, baring teeth, or setting boundaries while uncomfortable are not automatically disqualified. However, true aggression toward people or other animals is not accepted. I maintain a zero tolerance policy for aggression within my home. Transparency allows me to safely manage personalities, prevent conflicts, and create the best experience for everyone. Please also let me know whether your dog is kennel trained, whether they need to be crated when left alone, and if they relax well in a kennel or become stressed while confined. Depending on each dog’s behavior and routine, many guests are able to enjoy supervised free roam privileges. Since Rover does not cover damage inside a sitter’s personal home, owners are responsible for any damages caused during a stay. Repair or replacement costs may apply, with a minimum charge of $100 if damage occurs. While my home environment is intentionally structured and carefully managed, I am also comfortable taking on more complex behavioral or medical cases within a client’s home. My care style focuses on structure, enrichment, positive guidance, manners, redirection, safety, and making every dog feel comfortable, confident, and at home. About: Hello! I'm so excited to meet your furry family members and walk and play with them! I recently left my 9-5 job and am spending my time doing what I love most before I head back to school in January for my Master's. That includes meeting as many dogs as I can. I was on Rover several years ago mostly dog sitting, and it was the best! But now that I have an almost two year old running my household, walking dogs outside is a better fit for me these days. For the last 7 years, my partner has also been a full-time dog walker, and I've been his backup the whole time. Now, we're officially making it a family business as I've started taking on clients of my own again! Over nearly a decade of dog sitting and backup walking, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, and energy levels. I’m completely comfortable handling special medical needs and unique temperaments, and the NOLA heat doesn't scare me one bit. “We are so thankful for Jon! He did an INCREDIBLE job watching our pack of 4 poms over our wedding weekend! We have never used Rover before or left our dogs overnight and were pretty nervous. We even got on a call with Jon prior to booking and he was more than willing to answer our millions of questions. He was flexible with drop off and pick up times (we drove into NOLA from STL) and was so patient with my "helicopter parent" husband that wanted to set up their beds himself and was so anxious to leave them. When we picked the pups up he had everything packed up which was a huge time saver since we were driving back home. He had even ran one of our blankets through the dryer so they would have a warm spot to lay since the weather had gotten cold that morning! It is so difficult to trust someone else with your animals, and we were lucky to find such a caring and thoughtful Rover.
