Dog walks can be given during the day and I also can drop in to check on your babies during the day as well! About: I have grown up with dogs before I even had a conscious mind. I have loved dogs and animals in general my whole life. there is nothing more that I would like to do than make an animal feel taken care of. being always surrounded by animals at various ages has given me plenty of different experiences- for example, taking care of a dog with seizures, cancer, diabetes, and more. I have dealt with dogs with high anxiety and managing to keep them at a calm state but I have also dealt with dogs who have more aggression and have learned ways to calm them as well. I truly do have a love for animals beyond anything else. I genuinely enjoy any time I can get with them. there is a 100% guarantee that if there is an animal at someones house..I'm with it. I am looking forward to taking care of everyone's little animals (their children) and providing the best care not only for the pet in need but for the owner to feel reassured that their animal is in good hands. I am currently working four times a week but being able to take care of fur babies has been something I have been wanting to do for the longest time!! so although my schedule can be tight I'm willing to work around it when I can. I used to have three dogs in total in all different sizes. I took care of my dogs as if they were my literal children. at points they were probably too spoiled but I couldn't help it! I always made sure my dogs were fed and went out my way to find the best food that would suit their individual needs. two of my dogs were super anxious especially during any type of storm and I never turned them away, I was willing to do anything to make them feel safe. even if that meant sleeping on the floor or some nights not getting any sleep. more often than not I out my dogs first! one of my dogs loved walks so therefore I took him (and still take him) own a walk everyday and let him take as much time as he needs. About: I love dogs! I have 1 very spolied dog, King. He's a4 year old boxer that gives an impression that he'll eat you for lunch, but he's the biggest sweetheart!! I spoil and love on him every chance I can. He'll never want for anything, except more kisses! I want to share that love with other dogs in my spare time. I have a lot of love to go around. Your fur baby will go on walks and updates will be left for you to view upon your return! I am a very honest and reliable individual. I am punctual probably to a fault. King usually sleeps all day, but I make sure he goes out and runs around several times a day. I go on long walks, but he had a very expensive surgery and I don't think he can take long walks. About: All the Doggies sleep with me in my bed! They are allowed on furniture & anywhere they’d like to be comfortable. I worked for Companion Animal alliance in Baton Rouge working with dogs & cats as a caretaker. I mobile groom for people around the Livingston parish area & I’m well known on the nextdoor app. I have a bunch of references! I am very passionate about your fur babies & one day will open up my own business building for grooming/boarding & as new clients you would be adding to my fund for that. It has been my life long dream to accomplish this one day & I am going to keep working towards that. I want to expand this business into something much bigger & for people to feel at ease with leaving your babies in the care of someone who will love them unconditionally. All you have to bring for your baby is their dog food/cat food. I have dog/cat bowls, leashes, toys, puppy pads, litter boxes, litter, cat toys, cat/dog beds, ( I supply dog treats ) I do not put the babies in kennels unless instructed to do so by you if you bring your own. At bed time I put on relaxing music for the dogs to calm down & sleep, heating pads for cold nights, lots of blankets & beds. Any of their comfort items I would suggest bring with them. I do live in a new trailer, lots of room for your babies to roam & play! non smoker. I have experience with large dogs to small dogs, senior dogs & ones with bad anxiety or kennel aggressive ect. I also have experience with birds, especially parrots. I know how to handle in any situation when it comes to different behaviors from animals. I am also pit bull friendly 💕 The babies I board/doggy daycare have FREE ROAM. Which means they can go as they please anywhere in my home, they can sleep with me or they can sleep on the couches or their beds, but If you prefer your baby in a kennel at night, I will respect your wishes. I only have one kennel designated just for that.. You will receive lots of pictures/videos & updates to the point where it may be a little annoying but you’ll never have to text me first checking on them. I give them lots of love! I stay home everyday with the babies, so they will get all of the attention they need. The night before pick up/drop offs, I do give them a bath, each one no matter what. I can pick your dog up or drop them off, I have never had an issues with any dogs fighting, running off or accidents. I am VERY experienced in RUNNERS, the ones who wait for you to open the door to escape. Never had a runner succeed in getting away. I can clip your babies nails & give them a little trim if need be free of charge. If your dog needs medication I can administer it to them at the times needed. Prozac, prednisone, insulin, antibiotics ect, I’m familiar with all. Thank you for taking the time to read this & hopefully you have found the right sitter for your baby/babies. 🐶 I bring the babies to the dog park twice a week along with water treats & toys. I can manage 5 at a time ( leashed ) I do have a fenced in yard with a doggy pool, it’s covered & has pet turf. Lots of room for your baby to play!! This is what I do for a living! I eat breathe & sleep doggies. I stay home full time & when I say full time it’s me & the pups home everyday. I LOVE & taking care of your 4 legged sweetie pies, when you book with me it will allow me to continue to care for the fur babies & accomplish my life long dream to open up a bigger place to care for more. 💕 I truly appreciate repeat customers, but with inflation the way that it is, the cost of gas being so high, I had to make the difficult decision to raise my prices up to $2 more since last year. I want to make sure your babies feel loved on and at home! I am a dog mom 24/7. I would love to take care of your pets the way I do mine! Dog walks can be given during the day and I also can drop in to check on your babies during the day as well! If your dog is coming to my home, I will make sure to give a warm introduction to my dogs to make sure they are comfortable. My dogs have lots of toys and your dog can bring some too! I stick to a routine with my pups, so that is something I am willing to do for yours!
About: I have always had animals in my life. I know each one is different and special. I grew up on a farm so I know having a loving and compassionate person to care for your babies is a necessity when you have animals. About: I am well versed in anything that includes animals. My father has owned a dog business for over 15 years and I have helped him throughout my whole life. I am also very well versed in horses and work for a couple people around their barn! I am a college student, but I have a very flexible schedule. About: I used to babysit the children of two veterinarians, so I was able to learn a great deal of animal care at a young age. I have volunteered at the local animal shelter since 2014. While I was a teacher, I used to take students twice a week after school to volunteer. I occasionally foster for the local shelters, especially in special cases when pets needed medicine or to be bottle fed. I am the person friends and family call when they have questions about their pets and/or they need someone to watch them. I am in a master's program at SLU for private practice counseling. Classes are every other Monday and every other Tuesday 2-4:45. I have internship Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon. I have plenty of time in the mornings, most afternoons, and evenings to walk, feed, visit/play, etc. I am someone that has a huge soft spot for the fur babies. I have created the spoiling habits with my babies, so I am diligent about adhering to other people's ways and habits with their babies. I lost my 16 year old rat terrier a year ago. She dealt with lots of anxiety, especially when I was not around, so I try to give the babies extra love knowing they probably feel off without their humans. Also, my Lucy developed canine dementia the last 9 months of her life. I have a great amount of patience and compassion for the aging babies.
About: I have had a wide variety of different types of pets throughout my life such as (snakes, hedgehogs, raccoons, pigs, chickens, etc.). Having learned to care for each and every one of them. Has provided me with substantial knowledge in how to deal with pets whether puppies or full grown large dog breeds. In 2024, I rescued my German shepherd. When we got him he was only 4 months old and in critical condition, suffering from starvation and diseases. Throughout my care I have been able to provide my dog a happy and healthy ongoing life. About: -13 yrs of experience watching family and friend's pets -experience with all types of dogs including elderly and special needs -experience in walking, feeding, taking out, etc. -experience giving dogs medicine daily and special feeding per owners instructions I'm very available inbetween jobs. About: Along with my 2 current dogs, I also grew up with multiple dogs and cats, and volunteered alongside my family with dog rescues and adoption agencies. The type of person that if I see an animal on the side of the road - I will always stop to help where needed. I work full time during the week, so I am looking to help out on weekends or for short stops in the afternoons on weekdays. I have a very secure fenced in yard that is about 85% covered by surveillance cameras equipped with motion detection, as well as an additional enclosed area with doggy door. My dogs roam free at all times and can go potty when they want, and I let them into the yard to run around while I am home. I am totally open to crating your pup if needed, but my dogs will not be crated, as they both have weak bladders and will potty inside if not given full access to doggy door. I feed my friends twice a day and incorporate their meds as needed - so I understand having complex feeding routines. As far as visits go - I understand dog body language as well as how to respond with my own body language.
