“Lauren and Cody were wonderful with Reggie! He was probably not ready to come home! Plenty of updates and pictures were provided. We felt confident that our sweet boy was in good hands! We would definitely use Lauren and Cody again.”

“Jason took great care of Frisco for 10 days. Frisco isn't a typical dog and Jason adapted to all his quirks. Daily updates and pictures kept up informed of his status and was much appreciated. Highly recommend.”

“I had an excellent experience with Nicholas and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter. I boarded my cat with him for about six weeks during my summer vacation. I especially appreciated that he only boards one pet at a time, which gave my cat a quiet, low-stress environment and plenty of individual attention. When I picked him up, he was happy, healthy, in great spirits, and hadn't lost any weight, a clear sign that he had been very well cared for.”

“We boarded our senior dog with Nicolette for 13 days. Nicolette was great with Buster. She sent photos and updates while we were on our vacation. Buster seemed relaxed and happy when we picked him up. I will definitely use her boarding services again.”

“She was amazing! She sent me pictures of her and my fur baby and my Diamond started getting attached to her! She kept me updated the entire 4 days and I will definitely be returning if I need care again. I was nervous because it was my JRT's 1st time boarding but she made it super fun and relaxing for her! Thank you so much”

“This was my first experience with leaving my Olive Oyl and Johanna made it easy for me. She was very assuring and took real good care of her, sent picture and messages to help comfort me. Knowing she was in good hands made the whole situation easier. I would definitely leave her with Johanna any time. Only issue was I’m not sure Olive Oyl was ready to come home she liked it so well. Thanks Johanna”

“Keith was amazing! We were at ease leaving our babies as he was extremely professional and had been in the industry for a while. He is also flexible and affordable! Can’t recommend him enough and we’ll definitely be back when we’re in town.”

“Bradley graciously accepted a short notice booking for our dog Ghost. He was very communicative and responsive leading up to and throughout the boarding stay. Bradley’s dog Beaux is very sweet, gentle & got along well with Ghost. We 100% recommend Bradley for boarding.”

“Lauren was absolutely outstanding with my baby girl. She went above and beyond and sent videos and photos the whole time so I always knew my girl was happy and cared for. Her communication was great and her energy was calm. She handled everything with so much attention and kindness. I would book with her again without hesitation because she was exceptional!”

“Elise was very professional yet warm and kind. I think our lab may have not wanted to come back home. I will definitely recommend Elise to anyone looking to get their best friend back in better condition than they were left. Will use here again in the future if she is available.”

“By far the best pet sitter I have ever had! Would recommend to any and everyone. Beetlejuice didn’t want to leave. Wonderful family and pups got along with him so well!”

“I am more than pleased with how my babies were taken care of while I went out of town. The pics that were sent eased all my anxieties and they looked at home when in care. I will definitely be using Marquita again and again”

“Theo absolutely LOVES Janelle, we don’t know what she has haha but he goes crazy when we get into her apt complex and is always so happy in all of the photos she sends us!:)”

“This was our dog’s 2nd stay with Amanda. As soon as I dropped her off at Amanda’s house, I could tell Marley remembered being there and was excited to be back! Amanda sends frequent updates and pictures, which really helped us not to worry about our baby while we were away. Will definitely book with her again in the future!”

“Hazel always seems to be so happy when she stays with Jennifer and her family. I know she gets plenty of love. She is always so tired when she gets home so I know she has a good time playing with her pups. If Jennifer is available, I will always use her. :)”

“Awesome as ever. Kacey watched out two cats while we were gone for 10 days. She’s super reliable, respectful of the house, gives great communication and is great with the cats. Will keep rebooking!”

“On time and very thorough, plus my animals loved Katie from the very moment they met her!! If I ever need animal care again I’ll definitely re-book if she’s available 😊”

“Taylor is wonderful taking care of my fur sons as they are older cats and one with special needs . She comes on time and gives good detail on your loved pets. Where I was skeptical using rover and someone knew to take care of them , Taylor is highly recommended”

“Katriana was attentive, caring and punctual. She took amazing care of my fur babies and went above and beyond giving them extra love and attention. I loved the pictures giving extra peace of mind knowing they were in good hands while we were gone. We will definitely use her again! Great job and thank you ❤️”

“Jordan did a great job taking care of my 4 kitties and feeding them twice a day + litter scooping. She followed all my instructions perfectly and sent informative notes and photos after every visit. She's a very busy lady, so a somewhat flexible time-schedule from the pet owner would probably be the best fit, i.e. "morning" instead of 8am on the dot. I really appreciated her help!”

“Yuli was beyond amazing! Communicative, reliable, and super friendly. She let me know about any concerns going on at home as well as sent pictures and updates abt my baby. Couldn’t recommend more!!! Book her!”

“Jada was absolutely fantastic! She took such wonderful care of our dogs while we were gone & made our vacation so much more enjoyable because I wasn't worrying at all! Would recommend her a million times over!”

“I highly recommend her! She was awesome and you can’t go wrong if you give her the opportunity to take care of your pet. I will use her for all of my pet sitting needs.”

About: As someone who has worked with a variety of domesticated felines, I’ve learned that the last thing a cat wants is a sitter. Lol. Most just want someone who can scoop their box and open their can of food. I’m a professional in that area. I’m also good at reading kitty behavioral cues. I can usually tell if a feline is going to be my friend or not. I know when to give them their space. I’ve watched kitties who are social and some that are shy. I’m pretty good with a laser and always enjoy playing with or sitting with a sweet cat or cats. I can also prepare special diets and give insulin shots. The Kitties always train me well!

About: I raised up a kitten when I was young and, more recently, I rescued a kitten from a warehouse almost a year ago and ended up keeping him for good! I have plenty of experience and I feel confident in my ability to care for your cat while you’re away!
About: I am a 2nd year student at LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in Baton Rouge. I grew up with a love for animals and decided to turn my passion into my career. I’ve taken care of many animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, horses, and chickens. I have small animal clinic experience so I am very comfortable with giving medications, identifying signs of anxiety or pain, and providing loving care to any animal. I have 3 dogs right now that I absolutely adore and spend most of my time with. Being a veterinary student means that I get the opportunity to deal with all sorts of animals weekly. Animals bring me joy and the more I can be around them, the better! I feed my dogs twice a day and take them on daily walks. I play with them as much as I can to get their energy out and cuddle with them once they are tired out. When I dog-sit for people, I usually go to their house 3 times a day, play with them, and ensure they get enough attention and playtime. I am also comfortable with giving baths and trimming nails.

“Kaitlyn was fantastic! She asked a bunch of questions early on to understand my dog's needs and kept me informed of concerns that came up during the drop-in visits. I highly recommend her as a sitter, especially if you have a large breed dog. I will definitely schedule her for future drop-ins.”

About: I have owned and lived with dogs and cats my whole life. I have 3 fur babies who are spoiled and well-loved, Mylo the Siberian Husky (2 years old), Lily the sweet mix breed rescue (6 years old), and Baxter the Dachshund Beagle rescue (7 years old) and 1 fur nephew, Rufus the Corgi (3 years old) who frequently stays with his cousins and auntie to play. We love the dog park, long walks (Mylo especially), and couch snuggles/naps. They enjoy chasing each other in the backyard and to birdwatch/neighborhood watch from the living room windows. I have experience with many breeds and all ages. Having two rescues myself I am also comfortable with rescue dogs who may need more time to warm up and trust you. “Jason was great with Bowie! So glad we were able to find him in a pinch. Jason kept in great communication with us, and it was clear Bowie really enjoyed his stay.”

“Lauren has a nice house and good sized back yard to accommodate her Rover dogs. This is our first time using Lauren. She and her daughter made Meryl feel comfortable and showered her with attention and affection. Lauren had great communication with us. We had a meeting to introduce Meryl to them day before our dog sitting appointment that went very well. We want to use Lauren again soon for boarding. I highly recommend her for your dog.”

“My dog absolutely loved him. He was anxious the first day but Keith really helped him get comfortable and by the third day he was happily running inside, not sparing me a second glance. Would 100% have Keith watch my dog again.”

“My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every breed my entire life. I’ve always consecutively (2 over 16 years) owned Huskies. They match my energy and personality. I am open to pet care and pet walks all the time as I am in between jobs and selling my house. Dogs are the best company. I have a fenced yard and a dog door. There is endless water with my giant water jug feeder. My home is 3 bedrooms open with a window to see out.
About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life — from energetic puppies and curious kittens to senior pets who need a little extra TLC. I’ve helped friends, family, and neighbors with everything from daily walks to overnight stays and drop-in visits. I’m comfortable with dogs of all breeds and sizes, as well as cats with different personalities, including shy or high-energy ones. I’ve handled feedings, medications, litter box deep-cleaning, crate training, and even post-surgery care. I also have experience with senior pets and understand how to keep them comfortable and on routine. Pet care is a natural part of my daily life — not just a job, but something I genuinely enjoy. I plan my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for, making sure they get consistent attention, love, and structure throughout the day. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I’m flexible and committed to keeping your pet happy and on routine. I love being active, so walks, feedings, and check-ins blend easily into my day. And if I’m doing overnight care or drop-ins, I make sure your pet gets my full attention and a calm, comforting environment. I also take time to send updates and photos, so you always know how your pet is doing. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine, personality, and comfort level — whether they’re staying with me or I’m caring for them in their own home. In My Home: I create a safe, cozy, and pet-friendly space where your pet can feel relaxed and loved. I keep feeding schedules consistent, provide daily walks or playtime, and make sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I separate pets if needed for safety and give them space to adjust at their own pace. I treat every pet like family while making sure they stay on a routine that feels familiar. In Clients’ Homes: I respect your home and your pet’s routine. Whether I’m doing drop-in visits, walks, or overnight stays, I stick to your feeding, potty, and playtime schedule. I’ll water plants, bring in mail, and make sure everything is clean and tidy before I leave. I also send frequent photo and text updates so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.
About: Dog lover of 27 years. I'm a stay-at-home mother to 3 beautiful babies and 2 fur babies. I am a total dog enthusiast. I love all things dog and am always happy to meet and love up on new fur pups. SPOILER ALERT: All fur babies will be spoiled rotten and living their best life! I am flexible with my availability and make it easy for my clients to book with me. I always give the best possible experience that I can. I love to provide fur parents with a way to keep their fur babies healthy, active and happy while they are away. I have a fenced-in backyard and a fenced-in patio (for the pups that love to be outside and bask in the sun). My home has doggie gates in every room to keep your fur babies safe and playmates in order. I treat every dog as my own and love to see them happy and well cared for.
About: We live in a 2nd-floor apartment that has 12 stairs leading up to it. I have had dogs in the home since the age of 2 and been a primary caregiver for my last 3 family dogs. My partner and I both love all dogs, especially larger breeds. We are experienced in basic leash and command training, basic medication administration, and house training. We firmly believe you can never have too many dogs around and would love to host your furry family member while you are away! We have a cat named Mitties who keeps to herself and tolerates her brother Lincoln as well as his friends who visit. Lincoln has never met another pup he didn't like. He loves to play and wrestle but also knows when it's time to give his friends space. He has regular interaction with dogs of all sizes and adjusts his play style accordingly. We are available for most weekends, and most weekdays from a week-to-week basis. Isaac works from home and is almost always around during the day to supervise! Dogs can be crated if needed over night or while we are away. Our dog Lincoln does not use a crate, however, so it is not necessary if your dog doesn’t usually use one either.

About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. I often send pictures or videos of pets to keep you updated and let you know your fur baby is safe and happy!

“Jada has walked and kept Duke on multiple occasions. I never have to worry when he is with her as I know she will take great care of him. He also loves to play with her dog, Balto!”
About: Hi! My name is Jason and have taken care of either my own dog or my neighbor's dogs ever since I was 10 years old. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I live right on my neighborhood's greenspace, my neighborhood has sidewalks and lakes for great long walks, and I live 5 minutes away from the dog park. I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch, and tug of war. I also enjoy being a couch potato if your dog is more laid back. I have the ability to either work from my home or from my office. When watching a dog, I can be home all day, or if the dog is able, I can only work a half day at the office and the rest from the house. Either way, your loved one won't be alone for more than 4 hours if they are able. If not, no worries, I enjoy working from home! I'm a single guy with no kids, so it's just me at the house which allows me to give your pet all the attention it needs. While I don't have a fenced in yard, I live right on my neighborhood's giant greenspace, my neighborhood has sidewalks and two lakes for great long walks, and I live 5 minutes away from the dog park. I'm an athletic guy, so if your pup needs to be active and enjoys playing and running, I'm your guy! I also enjoy being a couch potato if your dog is more laid back.

“Christina did a wonderful job with my dog, Jackson! She is very kind and attentive to his needs. She took time to come over before the walk and meet with him to make sure they were both comfortable. She did a great job of keeping me updated and sent the best pictures. We can't wait to continue having Christina for walks!”

“Anna is great! My old dog walker had to move, and I found Anna on short notice. She is such a blessing and takes great care of my pup. I know that he is well taken care of when I am at work.”

About: I’m comfortable helping out with your Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea Pigs… possibly other animals, just shoot me a message! My family, friends and neighbors have trusted me for all of their pet care needs and hopefully you will too! My hours are flexible at the moment. I’m available for pop in visits for feeding, walks and/or outdoor play time too. I’m super patient and don’t mind spending a little extra time with the needier fur babies. My cats are beyond spoiled, so don’t feel bad about what you may think are silly special requests. I completely understand. I’ll treat your fur babies like they were my own.
About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.

“Lauren and Cody were wonderful with Reggie! He was probably not ready to come home! Plenty of updates and pictures were provided. We felt confident that our sweet boy was in good hands! We would definitely use Lauren and Cody again.”

“Savannah and Kadyn took awesome care of our dog, Rosie. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”

“Emery was excellent! Exactly what I needed. I hired her to take my dog, Bella, to the daycare and walls while I was away on vacation for a week. She was flexible, punctual, communicated regularly, with a positive attitude. Bella responded well to her. I always felt she was safe and in good hands. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate on the daily walks, but that is not her fault. She did the best she could under the circumstances. I can confidently recommend her and will use her services again in the future.”

About: I grew up with a Yorkie and now care for him in his senior years with doggy dementia, which has taught me the importance of patience, gentle routines, and creating a calm, comforting environment. Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays I get out of class for 11 and am free for the rest of the day. Tuesdays and Thursdays are a little tougher for me due to my classes being scattered throughout the day. I enjoy taking them on walks, giving them baths, playing with them, cuddling with them, feeding and taking them out, and just having an emotional support animal around me!
About: I have grown up raising pets of all kinds. I have many years of experience with animals, owning multiple cats and dogs. Not only that, but I am familiar with many different breeds of dogs, ranging from labs and german shepherds to bassets and pugs. I know how to take care of and have fun with any pet. I am currently in school so I'll have plenty of time to watch your babies after school and on weekends. I am currently available from 2:30 to 10 on weekends and 5 to 10 on weekdays. I have a fenced yard with grass and plenty of space for your pups to play. They would be allowed in any part of my house, so you don't have to worry about them being cooped up in the winter.

About: I have worked as a vet assistant at an animal hospital for 3.5 years with plans to apply to the LSU vet school. I have also owned and cared for animals my whole life, including farm experience. I am currently working part time, so I don’t have many weekly hours. I also live with my fiancée who is part time as well in a two bedroom townhouse. I have an unfenced yard with plenty of grass and walking area. I have 2 very friendly medium sized dogs to keep your dogs company. I have a large kennel if needed. I am also very active and can run and walk long distance for active dogs.
“Cydney and her family were wonderful sitters for my Standard Poodle. It was really the perfect scenario for him to fit right in and be comfortable while away from home. I will definitely book them again.”
