About: I’ve been caring for animals from a very young age, growing up on a farm where tending to a wide variety of animals was part of my everyday life. That experience gave me a strong understanding of animal behavior, responsibility, and the importance of consistent, attentive care. About: I grew up with with at least 2 dogs (from chihuahuas all the way to Great Danes). I love going to the dog park with my pups and running around the yard with them. I also have experience in dog grooming. My family is in the process of renovating their house, so I unfortunately don’t have the space to board any animals, but in the next year I will have the space to board 5 animals. I prioritize your pets' safety and I make sure I leave your home better than I have found it. I make sure your pets have fun and get lots of excrise while you are away! I prioritize your pets' schedules. I do have classes Monday to Friday from 7:30 to 2:35, but make sure that clients' pets are my priority right before and after class. I abide by any instructions that clients give me. Highly responsible making sure home is locked. I make sure pets are secure at all times and I am happy to discuss safety in more detail if clients have specific needs or concerns. I never take pets anywhere that clients have not given permission for. I don't have guests in clients' homes.

About: They say that pets/animals know a good person when they see and smell them. There's not a pet home that I walk into and am not greeted with excitement after giving rubs and cuddles. I am currently transitioning to be a stay at home mom, but I would like to continue to help others in need. My days are flexible at this time. Between 8:00m-3:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:00pm on weekdays, I can move outside of the home freely. Times outside of the listed times, I need to be within my home. “My experience with Robin was exceptional. I have used another sitter through Rover before and the experience was okay, but I noticed my puppy would come home very riled up and needing to immediately decompress. It often felt like I had to calm him down and get him back to his normal baseline. With Robin, the experience was completely different. When I picked him up, he was calm, relaxed, and acting exactly like he does at home. Even during the ride back, he settled into his crate and rested. That told me he was comfortable and well cared for during his stay. I was also a little nervous about having him around other dogs since he hasn’t spent a lot of time with other puppies. Robin was incredibly patient and reassuring. She allowed me to observe and helped me feel confident that he would be just fine, and he truly was. Another thing that stood out was how much my puppy liked her right away. As soon as he got out of the car, he was excited and curious about going inside, which meant a lot to me. I’m so glad I found Robin and truly look forward to working with her again. It’s clear my puppy felt safe and comfortable in her care.”

About: I am a mom to two dogs: Foxy, a 2 year old lab mix, and Rosa, a 10 month old golden retriever. I raised both of my babies from when they were puppies prior to getting my girls, I had a dog for 13 1/2 years who died of cancer in April. So I also have experience caring for senior and sick dogs. I just started my own company working from home and decided that it would be a good idea to join Rover for some extra income, to be able to help others out, and to provide friends for my 2 pups. About: I’ve pet sat for friends and family for years and have been walking neighbors’ dogs for a few months. I have a large dog myself so I can be relied on to walk and care for large dogs. I currently keep a neighbor’s dog for doggy daycare about 2-3 hours during the day. They LOVE to play with each other and I have plenty of enrichment toys and treats to keep them occupied. I currently keep a dog for doggy daycare from 12:00-2:00 on weekdays, but my schedule is flexible. I am available during weekdays for walks and check ins from 8:00 am-6:00 pm. I am also available for weekday and weekend boarding and house sitting. I have a fenced in backyard and a fairly open floor plan offering a lot of play space. My dog and the dog I keep during the day are both very sweet but can be quite rambunctious at times. They are both well trained and very friendly with people and other dogs. Before moving to Baton Rouge, I used to own my own business cleaning houses and have a lot of experience working in other people’s homes. I understand how difficult it can be letting someone new into your home, especially when you may not be there. I am a great communicator, very trustworthy, and have a flexible schedule. About: I absolutely adore animals of all shapes and sizes! I personally have 2 dogs and a cat but I’ve had snakes, a chinchilla, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, among other family pets. I’m home for the summer, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pets the care and attention they deserve. I always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their environment. I follow all instructions closely and keep pets on their normal routines, including feeding, walks, and playtime. I maintain a clean and safe space, pay attention to their behavior, and make sure they feel relaxed and loved. I treat every pet like they’re my own.
About: I am an animal obsessed graduate looking to fill my free time taking care of pets while I am on the hunt for a job. I’ve had my fair share of caring for dogs of all sizes and cats too! My pets are my family, and I will treat yours with the same respect. I know you want your pets left in the best care while you are away, so I am able to come do a meet and greet if preferred! Fun fact: I just went through a training program on how to better understand dog body language when they interact with other dogs and how to handle emergency situations when they arise! I am currently working part time and taking a couple courses for my Master's degree, so I have plenty of time (and energy) to care for your lovely pet. When I house sit, I will have to leave for a few hours a day for either class or work, but will spend ample time with your four-legged friend! In your home, full respect will be given to both your pets and your home. Walks and drop ins will not be spent browsing my phone, your four-legged friend has my full attention! Drop in visits can be tailored to the needs of your pet, and walks can be as active as your pup likes (I like to get those steps in). If your pup has decent leash manners and would like to take a run, I can provide that as well.
About: Before Rover 👵🏻 I would get recruited as a kid to watch my relatives’ pets while they were away. In college, I would house and pet sit for my boss and coworkers. I have two cats, but have a very soft spot for pups, too. I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I’m available for walks during the day/ evening and for house sitting or check ins. I will treat your baby like they’re my own! I know they get sad when you’re away, so I am available for extra love and keeping things as normal as possible.

Some families prefer pet sitters to stay at their homes overnight and spend most of their day caring for the pet while other families prefer sitters to drop in every 4 hours or so to feed, provide water, entertain, and walk the animal. I’m ok doing which ever but my schedule might differ depending on the week but communication is all that matters! I cannot offer boarding since I will be moving into a non pet friendly apartment soon but for overnight/day pet sitting I will just follow your directions and rules!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every breed my entire life. I’ve always consecutively (2 over 16 years) owned Huskies. They match my energy and personality. They sent us multiple pictures and videos to keep us updated on how Rosie was doing and you could just see how much love and attention she was getting during her stay with them. Not only that, but they were so incredibly accommodating to us when the snow storm hit and our travel plans were disrupted. They even offered to have our dog stay the night before when we thought we may have had to leave earlier than expected. For pickup, they accommodated us once again, so we could pick up our dog late and then they were available when our time changed. They communicated with us so well the whole time and we are happy to have found a great dog sitter in Lafayette! We will definitely be using them again!”
About: I have had and taken care of pets of all kinds (but especially dogs) since I was very young! I’ve had experience with puppies, young dogs, and older dogs, male and female. Even now I help take care of relative’s dogs and I love it. I feed, watch, walk, and make sure they’re happy! I stay in good shape and walk / workout every day, so I am able to handle larger breeds if needed! I live near LSU lakes which is a great place for walking, I usually go around the lakes when I go for walks, so I am familiar with the area well. It’s a great experience for people and pets! I’m pretty flexible and usually available for any activities! I am going to be taking 2 online classes this summer which requires me to be home, it works out well to watch some sweet pups! I do not have any dogs or cats within my home currently. Any pet works just fine to be inside or outside! The living room, dining room, and kitchen are all fairly large open spaces and connected together.

About: They say that pets/animals know a good person when they see and smell them. There's not a pet home that I walk into and am not greeted with excitement after giving rubs and cuddles. I am currently transitioning to be a stay at home mom, but I would like to continue to help others in need. My days are flexible at this time. Between 8:00m-3:00pm and 4:00pm to 6:00pm on weekdays, I can move outside of the home freely. Times outside of the listed times, I need to be within my home. I havr a 9 year old daughter who is great with animals, and she will not be left with any unsupervised. I have a fenced in back patio and a semi-fenced in back yard. Animals are not allowed to be alone and off the leash if in the backyard exploring. They are free to roam around the patio and home if applicable.
