About: I have 20+ years in caring for someone elses loved ones. Growing up, I have always had a dog family member and I absolutely love animals. I’ve never had a day without a pet in my life. I have a spacious fenced in yard, that your pet can run and play. I am home all hours of the day and nigh and can honor any needs your pet requires. Your best friend is my best friend in this house! I am home all day! I am able to follow all routines your pet may have. We can play fetch or snuggle, whichever your furry friend needs! Although I do require a 24 hour request to prepare for sitting. Your pets safety and comfort are my top priority. I have a fenced in yard, with plenty of room to play or couches they can lounge on. Whichever they prefer, I have both!

I've helped deliver 3 litters, have raised and bottle fed many kittens, rehomed stray pregnant cats ,and the most felines that I've cared for at a time in one household is 7. About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, starting from rescuing strays as a kid. I have years of hands on experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including my own senior pup who was named Cici. She needed medication around the clock and caring for her taught me patience, gentle handling, and how to follow a strict care routine. I’m comfortable giving meds, understanding special needs, and making sure pets feel loved, safe, and understood. A year after Cici passed, I adopted a dog named Betty who taught me how to love again. I didn’t realize that it was possible to have more than one soul dogs. Unfortunately, she passed away from heartworms 3 months after I adopted her (she already previously had heartworms from the place I adopted her from and was on medicine). So after that, yeah I’m not doing that again haha. My heart can’t take it. However, I would love to hang out with your fur babies and give them some extra loving and hopefully mend my broken heart. I promise I’ll treat them how I would’ve treated Cici and Betty!!!! The pain of losing them was so great only because the love I had for them was even greater. And I have an abundance of love to give! I am currently not working so I have all the time in the world to take care of your pets! Every day will be a party and I’d love to have some company! In my home, pets will have a safe, clean and comfortable space with plenty of attention, playtime and plenty of snuggles. While I don’t have a fenced yard, I will make sure they get regular leashed walks, potty breaks, and supervised outdoor time. I will stick to their usual feeding schedule, keep fresh water available at all times and follow any medication or special care routines exactly.

My primary job schedule is one week on/one week off of overnight shiftwork, but generally every other weekend (the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month) I have availability. Im open to discussion for weekdays, or mornings on my way home from work. I dont have pets of my own, as I live in an apartment with little space to run around and play. But, I've administered medications to dogs, can do some light grooming, short walks, etc. Snuggles and kisses come free of charge!

My family would work with local shelters to take in abandoned kittens as young as a day old and raise them and help find them good homes. Because of this, my neighbors often sought me out to watch their pets when out of town. I work full-time Monday-Thursday from 6-4:30. I am available after work and any time Friday-Sunday. If booked I will always make extra time to play with your pet! I currently do not have any pets in my apartment, so yours would get all my attention and space. Animals have always been a big part of my life—I’ve worked at both the zoo and the Louisiana Nature Center as an educator and animal caretaker, where I helped with training and husbandry for a variety of animal ambassadors. About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.
About: I grew up on a farm, had lots of dogs, cats, and all sorts of other animals to care for. As an adult, I’ve had quite a few cats, and I’m the current owner of three small dogs. I am currently working from home. Travel once a month. So I have plenty of time to check on the babies, play with them outside, and give them occasional treats. I have a fenced in yard that is designed for small dogs, a large dog would likely jump over. But it works great for the small dogs, plenty of shade, plenty of grass. And in the house, I have an abundance of pet beds, and blankies.

About: I have a love for all animals, as a child growing up I have always wanted to be a Veterinarian Assistant. I began doing foster care for dogs in 2020 after doing this for a while I felt a much greater need to help even more. I began my own dog rescue in 2020. I walk, play, love and care for each animal. I have rescued and rehomed several dogs to safe and loving homes. I treat them as if they were my own. The unbreakable bond between pets and their people is something that will forever warm my heart! If it’s a client’s home then whatever instructions are given I’ll make sure to go by!

“We went on an extended vacation for over one month. Our Golden Doodle Prince is part of our family. In the past, we put him in a couple of different kennels with mixed results, but never felt comfortable. This vacation we left him with Kirsten. We received photos everyday. Prince was loved, walked, and cared for by her entire family. When we used kennels in the past, it would take Prince several days to get back to normal. After over a month with Kirsten, similar to summer camp for kids, we brought Prince home and he was his normal self. Thank you Kirsten for taking such good care of Prince.”
“Kenneth watched my dog nova for a day and overnight when I went to a Mardi Gras parade and I can’t be more pleased. First off it was last minute and during Mardi Gras nonetheless so it was very challenging to find someone, Kenneth made it easy and responded to my request almost immediately. I was able to drop nova off and felt like I left her in good hands. Kenneth sent me lots of videos and photos during his time with nova which was also super appreciated. And finally when I was an hour late picking her up because I lost my keys and had to wait on a locksmith, he didn’t mind. Overall if I could give 6 stars I would and if I need a dog sitter in New Orleans again I know who to ask. Thanks so much Kenneth!”
