“We went on an extended vacation for over one month. Our Golden Doodle Prince is part of our family. In the past, we put him in a couple of different kennels with mixed results, but never felt comfortable. This vacation we left him with Kirsten. We received photos everyday. Prince was loved, walked, and cared for by her entire family. When we used kennels in the past, it would take Prince several days to get back to normal. I'm in my 60s and have had dogs most of my life and this is hands down, by far, the best experience a dog (baby) of mine has had. Right from the drop off the atmosphere was perfect. Our little one didn't even mind that we were leaving, which was new for us! She was already having too much fun exploring and paying with a new friend. The communication was excellent! “To say we were satisfied with the care Alyssa gave our little Max would be an understatement. We were camping in New Orleans and had events happening that would take us away from our motorhome for over 9 hours for a few days and did not think it wise to leave our small dog alone for so long so we needed to think of something. So for the first time we turned to the ROVER app. As this would be the first time we left our boy with a stranger we were very concerned but We had a meet and greet ahead of the actual dog sitting and it went so well …. we felt at ease right away with Alyssa and her own dog. Our Max and Alyssa’s Oliver hit it off right away … she is a wonderful person full of love, caring and is extremely pleasant. The second day we went to drop Max off he actually pulled me to her door and sat there waiting for her to open the door and when she did open the door he ran in as if he was home already. About: Growing up, my nuclear family cared for roughly thirty cats, both indoor and outdoor. Naturally, part of my daily routine was feeding them all before getting on the school bus, keeping the litter boxes and surrounding areas tidy throughout the day, and of course providing AMPLE love to all. I have experience nursing abandoned kittens to health and maturity, as well as acclimating feral cats into the home. I am more than keen when it comes to feline behavior! (My mother used to "joke" that her four children should come together and open a vet clinic.) Today, my husband and I have a well-trained, 3 year old shepherd mix named Poet, whom we adopted at just 8 weeks old, and a 5 year old American bobtail kitty named Millie, who we also rescued. We both work from home and our animals are our absolute lives. Normal days for us include walks around the neighborhood, as well as trips to City Bark. We have a fenced in backyard for potty time, as well as sun bathing. Both as our animal have free reign of our home; they watch TV with us, answer email with us, snooze with us, cook with us, etc.! You can trust that your fur baby would be met with the same love, adoration, and care that we provide to our own. Both my husband and myself work from home and are able to provide near-constant care for your fur babies, whether that pertain to potty breaks or play time! About: At tia ale's house , your fur baby is not an animal or pet. They are part of our family... not only will they be loved and cherished (that is a given) but also we will try to enrich their curiosity and animal nature!! (depending on their breed & preferences) fetch, walks, bubbles, and sniffing activities will be part of our day! as well as snacks and fresh ice cold water. Your fur baby will have a vacation away from home at Tia ale's house. I have plenty of time for their care, entertainment since I’m home 24/7. We would get up early in the morning and exercise then mind stimulation during the afternoon. Bed time would be from 7-9 pm depending on how tired your fur baby is. I have a fenced yard, and cameras around the house. We also have a nice backyard that gets sprayed every 3 months for fleas and bugs.

I’m currently working only for Rover. So I can dedicate all my time to your fur baby and his/her needs and the loving care and schedule you want for them. However I am instructed to. I am there to make you and your pet comfortable while away. It can be stressful for pet and pet parents when they are not together. I try to keep your pets schedule as similar to what they are used to with you. Feeding/ walking/ playing/ sleeping/ waking up will all be as close to their normal schedule as possible. Their comfort is my first priority.
About: Hi! I’m Maddie, a lifelong animal lover and proud Golden Retriever mom. I’ve raised my Golden giving me hands-on experience with daily care, training, exercise, and lots of love. My golden is very active so I’m always prioritizing getting home to play with my baby! I know how hard it is to find help being busy, so while I have time I want to be that person for others! I have a fenced in backyard with a very friendly Golden who would love play dates! If you would rather me come to your house, I love taking long walks and am very used to playing with toys in the house to try to burn all of that energy! I will give your pup the same attention I give my own❤️
About: I started my animal care experience working for the Audubon Science and Nature center in animal husbandry by caring for native and exotic animals, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians in outreach and environmental education! My husband and I cared for wild, rehabilated, exotic, domestic and farm animals throughout our careers. My husband has worked in a stable and farm and has experience with horses, goats, pigs, chickens ect. Both working part-time and mostly from home we will love your baby whether it's got fur, feathers ,hooves, scales or semiporous skin! ;-) My husband and I have a flexible schedule working part time and seasonally, with most hours I can set for myself and also often I am able to work from home. He and I make sure all animals are paid lots of attention to and cared for throughout the day and checked on at night. I have two residences one where I have my pets and another where there are no pets so we can discuss your pets environmental needs. Your baby can play with my pets or have the place to themselves if that suits their demeanor.
About: Hi! I’ve had dogs my entire life and they’ve always been at the center of my world. My most recent pup, Effy, was with me for 15 years — she was truly the love of my life. While I’m not quite ready to have a dog of my own again, I couldn’t imagine my life without them, which is why I’m so excited to be here on Rover! Your pet will be loved and cared for like my own. I can’t wait to meet them I work from home Monday–Friday, so your pet will have my full attention throughout the day — no long stretches alone. I am able to work remotely so care during the day is no issue. I live in an apartment in Meraux above my dad’s office, so while there’s no yard, we have plenty of space to get outside for walks. There are stairs, but I’m happy to carry pets up and down as needed.
About: I’ve always adored pets since I was young. I’ve had many in my life from cats,dogs,and rodents. I know animals are equal beings that need treatment with special accommodations. This requires patience which is almost unlimited for me.i currently have three cats that I’ve owned since they were 3-4 months old they’re now 6. I just got rats a few weeks ago they’re girls 6-8 months old. I believe everything follows a routine dedicated to them and I have no issue aligning myself to these routines. I’m still finishing high school at the moment and I have a job. But besides managing those I’m available weekdays after 4 if I’m not scheduled to work, weekends any time I keep my babies inside as much as possible. They’re allowed to free roam outside since they’re used to that lifestyle from before. They wear flee collars, jam is allergic. I cleanse them with daily grooming and anima safe wipes or soap if necessary. They’re fed 2-3 a day with half a cup or less of cat food I do plan to change their diets eventually. When it comes to other people’s pets I treat them with nothing but love and care and always stay considerate of whatever the owner says I should know about that animal. I’m extremely against cruelty brand products so I will avoid associating or using them.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life. They love me and I treat them as if they are my own child. I have three Australian shepherds and they are my whole world. They are so energetic and keep me active so being active with your dog is no problem. I am available any time as I work from home with a flexible schedule. I’ll be able to give your baby my full attention. Just let me know when you need to look after your baby I love taking dogs for walks or even car rides. Love playing fetch or whatever your dog enjoys doing. I also have a crate to crate your dog in if needed.

“We went on an extended vacation for over one month. Our Golden Doodle Prince is part of our family. In the past, we put him in a couple of different kennels with mixed results, but never felt comfortable. This vacation we left him with Kirsten. We received photos everyday. Prince was loved, walked, and cared for by her entire family. When we used kennels in the past, it would take Prince several days to get back to normal. After over a month with Kirsten, similar to summer camp for kids, we brought Prince home and he was his normal self. Thank you Kirsten for taking such good care of Prince.”
