I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! About: Growing up, we always had a couple of outdoor barn cats that loved to hang around. I wouldn’t say that I am specifically a cat person or a dog person, I’m a mixture of both. Since being on my own, I have adopted two lovely ladies being Bean and Peanut. Bean is a quarantine kitty and loves to cuddle, meanwhile Peanut is more standoffish and loves her personal space. I also worked at the Lexington Humane Society for over 4 years, as kennel technician and a full-time vet assistant. About: Growing up, I took the most responsibility for caring for our family German Shepherd. Her name was Daisy and I was responsible for teaching her how to sit and stay, we went on daily walks when the weather was nice and even though she was considered a family pet she was mine. I do not have training skills past basic household tricks but I have plenty of love to give. I don’t have much of a set routine at work. I am technically full-time, but my schedule varies drastically from week to week. This is why I have my booking two weeks in advance so I can plan accordingly. Other than my job, I am a homebody. About: Ever since I was a baby I have had a dog in my household. As soon as I could get a dog of my own I got Bentley, my German Shepherd/Coon Hound mix. I adopted him at only 6 weeks old back in 2020. Growing up neighbors would ask me to cat sit when they were on vacation which included changing litter, feeding, and playing with the cat daily. Additionally, I have been asked to help walk dogs and to house sit in the past! I live in the Hamburg area and work full time at the University of Kentucky. My traditional work hours are 8am-5pm M-F with an hour lunch break. I would be willing to carve out time in my lunch to walk or care for pets. I do not work weekends, and have the most availability to care for pets during that time! I am extremely trustworthy and will abide by any rules you have for your fur baby. I am experienced with crating, and have no concerns with helping to put your animal back in a crate after caring for it. About: Hey there! I am a pet/animal lover and enthusiast. I would have all the animals in the world if I could. I currently have 1 dog, Kash, and 1 cat, Darla Jean. Animals and caring for them are my life! Here’s my why: My grandmother lost her husband at a young age. She never dated again. She took in dogs and taking care of those dogs became her life purpose. Growing up, I would always want to visit my grandmother so that I could stay up all night with her and take care of the dogs. It became our thing. I feel that I am now living out my grandmother’s purpose by fulfilling my own purpose in giving unconditional love and care to any animal that crosses my path, just as she would have done. I love animals, and quite honestly, more than people, haha! I look forward to meeting, loving on, and caring for your fur baby as if they are my own. ❤️🐾 I am a special education teacher full time, but my toddler and myself love to show unconditional love to animals by taking care of them like they are our own. I get to do what I love as a part time “side hustle” plus also show my little boy of my own how to treat and care for animals plus teaching some responsibility! I’m available evenings, most weekends, and most holidays/ school breaks. It says on my profile “no children in the home,” but since I started Rover, I have had a baby and there is a 2 year old in the home. I tried to edit that info but literally cannot find it anywhere. Just wanted to make sure that was said though. Anyway, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own child. I like to meet with my clients face to face first so that I can get to know not only their fur baby, but their expectations in caring for their pet. About: I have had pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and a hamster. I also worked at the Lexington Humane Society for over 4 years, as kennel technician and a full-time vet assistant. I cared for all of our animals and livestock, and have experience with all routes of medication administration. I have been a dog and kitten foster parent for over 3 years. I foster failed my 6th foster dog 🤭. I have experience with crate training, leash training, and basic obedience training. I have training in emergency and senior animal care. I have a strong understanding of dog body language. I have a passion for animals and would love to help care for yours! I am currently available most mornings, afternoons, and evenings as I am taking some time off of work before transitioning into human medicine. I am available for drop in visits or boarding in my home, both during the day and overnight. My own dog is crate trained, but spends his time free roaming in my bedroom while i’m away. I have a large crate available for use if needed. My dog loves other canine friends, so if you would like a companion for your pet, there is space for playtime in my home. Otherwise, I would be more than happy to travel to your home to spend some time with your fur babies! (Dogs will be kept separate if left unattended in my home). I do not have a yard, but have plenty of grassy areas and walking trails nearby for your furry friend to get some exercise!

About: I’ve owned multiple disabled dogs and can care for them. I’m also experienced in giving medicine to animals that may need it. grew up around a lot of different animals and I love spending time with new animals and seeing all the different dog and cat breeds. 😁 I stay at home and my schedule is very flexible, so the fur babies will get plenty of attention and love! They will always have me with them for some company and play time. I can take care of pets in any way that their pet owner would like. I don’t have many rules and would just like for the fur babies to be comfortable in the new environment!
