“Kristen took great care of our baby, Piper. She sent me pictures and updated me to put my mind at ease about leaving her. See her in the neighborhood all the time walking her dogs. Highly recommend!”

“Nancy really has a great place for an active dog with plenty of room to run and play. Gunny (German Short Hair) took to her well and we had peace of mind knowing she has years of experience dealing with different breeds.”

“Our puppy had a wonderful time staying with Ana and her dog, Mia. Ana was an excellent sitter very accommodating, communicative, and easy to work with. We felt completely at ease and would happily book with her again.”

“The most trusted and kind home to leave our pup. He gets to run and play outside as he likes, and also gets all the love and cuddles he’s accustomed to. He adores David and Kelly!”

“Kirsten was amazing! She offered a meet and greet before my dog’s boarding. A very sweet person. And I was able to tell my dog would be in great hands. Awesome communication and I received plenty of updates including pictures and videos. I have an Aussie, and he has a lot of energy and Kirsten matches it perfectly.”

“Brent is a good person and a great dog sitter. Maple and Mozzie's (Brent's dog) first meeting went great. They played very well together. The day we dropped off Maple at Brent's home, he and his wife were very friendly and inviting with us and our dog Maple. They explained everything involved with Maple's stay and activities in their home. He kept us updated with pictures and texts. I would definitely recommend Brent and Rover to other pet owners.”

“Morgan is such a sweet person, she’s quick with her response, sends pictures for updates & I can tell my little one had an amazing time. I’ll definitely be using her again🤗”

“I cannot say enough good things about the care Lynn and her brother provided for our sweet girl! I was so nervous to leave Louise for the first time since she’s still a puppy, but they immediately put my mind at ease. While we were away, Louise developed an upset tummy. Lynn kept us updated, fed her chicken and rice, and even offered to take her to the vet if needed. Thankfully, she was feeling much better in no time. As an obsessed dog mom, I really appreciated how knowledgeable, kind, and caring they both were. We loved all the adorable pictures and videos they sent, and it was clear Louise was treated like family. We will absolutely be back to Irene’s Just Like Home Pet Care. ❤️”

“Martha was fantastic! This was my first time leaving my dogs over night and Martha made me feel at ease that they were having a great time. She sent me regular photos and videos and got back to me quickly every time I reached out. My dogs were at ease and happy to see me when I got there, but I could tell they felt at home with her and her husband!! Thank you so much.”

“Ashley was super clear communicating and went above and beyond for my two cane corso mastiff mixes. My 5 month old puppy had almost no socialization and her 4 dogs were amazing with her. My older dog did happen to go into heat and Ashley was the perfect sitter for her!!!”

“Lacey loves Heather and so do we. We are able to have a great time on vacations without ever worrying about her. We know our little girl is having fun and being well taken care of!! We have booked Heather numerous times and will continue to have her take care of Lacey for us! She is great!”

“Once again Kelsey was amazing! She takes the best care of our girl! She took her to the pet store and bought her a new stuffed animal and a treat. Kelsey is very responsive and sends updates.”

“Tracie sent updates, with pictures, every day, and Millie (my dog) really seemed to love it there! I was afraid she'd be depressed to be back in our boring home, but she still likes us, I guess. Tracie's daughter even drew a picture of Millie to give to me!”

“Ann was great with my little dog. She was easy to communicate with and answered my questions quickly. I was surprised to see Ann had 2 large dogs of her own. That’s on me, I should have asked if she had large dogs. I got really nervous about leaving Scruffy because his back has been injured a couple of times by larger dogs. Ann was very reassuring and took good care of Scruffy. She also sent lots of photos to help easy my mind. I will be using Ann again.”

“So glad Hannah and I found Sarah! She was wonderful with Hannah, and I can already tell Hannah loves her. My pup usually takes a little longer to warm up to people, so I was really happy when Hannah went to Sarah pretty quickly during our very first meet up. Sarah knew exactly how to approach Hannah and, more importantly, knew when to give her space and let Hannah come to her. Before long, Hannah walked right over to Sarah on her own! I jokingly called Sarah the “dog whisperer” because she just seemed to know exactly what Hannah needed. Sarah was also great about sending photos and keeping me updated, and she let me know anything I might want to know while Hannah was in her care. That gave me such peace of mind! I’m definitely looking forward to booking Sarah again. I’m so happy we found her!”

About: I have dog sat and walked for family and friends for years. I am the mom of a mini schnauzer Loki and cat Sylvie. Animals bring so much joy into the world and I try to bring joy into their days as much as I can! I am an Athletic Trainer at a local high school. I work evenings so have the whole morning free. I love exercise and often walk my own dog 4-5 times a day. I have lived with dogs my whole life. I know how to feed, walk, and love a dog. I will treat your furr babies like they are my own. I will give them plenty of love, I will play with them, and get all their energy out!

“Meliah did a wonderful job checking in on our two cats. We really appreciated her detailed updates and her photos while we were away. They may have had a better time with her than they do while we’re here!”

“They were very consistent and took great care of my little void kitty while I was travelling for two weeks. She's usually scared of strangers, but she warmed up very quickly to Bekah and her partner. They even did a little extra and made sure my house would be okay when a winter storm was affecting our area. I'd definitely hire them again!”

“I wholeheartedly recommend these guys! They are always happy to follow all my requests and are prompt in replying to messages. I trust them completely to take care of our kitty!”

“Cadrian did an excellent job of taking care of our cat Valentina for 3 days last week, despite Valentina being a little mean in the last visit. Cadrian is great with animals and we scheduled a meet and great beforehand that went well. Overall, very easy and communicative, would recommend.”

“Hailey was absolutely amazing! She stepped in at the last minute to care for our dogs, and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She came multiple times a day to let them out, spent time playing with them, and made sure they got plenty of attention. She kept us updated throughout our trip with messages and adorable pictures, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear she genuinely cared about our dogs and treated them like her own. We highly recommend Hailey and will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“This was my first time using Rover and Braden left a lasting impression. He was reliable and punctual. He was trustworthy and even offered to do a few extra check ins! Would 100% recommend. Will be rebooking with Braden.”

“Shaine is awesome! Super friendly, always on time, and will love your fur babies! It’s such a relief she checks on and lets our 17 year old dog on our non-work from home days!!!!! We are very thankful for her!”
“Lynn was very sweet to our cat Bubba. She made sure to engage him each visit and was very thorough in preparing his snack and probiotic. She sent great updates for us everyday. We will for sure book her again!”

“My previous Rover pet pet ad on moved so I was happy and lucky to find Cassidy. I contacted her last minute and we’re unable to meet in person, but we’re able to video chat which put me at ease. Cassidy was great with my cat Lucy and sent lots of pictures. Will definitely be using Cassidy in the future.”

“Nancy provided a GREAT experience for our pup while we had the opportunity to explore local distilleries in the area! She has a lovely property and Winston left exhausted! We All had a Great time in KY!!”

“Thank you for helping us out when my dog and I were suffering from a very sudden trouble. I really appreciate it for your keeping my pup from such an early morning and tolerate multiple schedule changes.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.
“Ollie had a great time! Brent sent pics and was a great communicator! If we're back in Lexington, we will definitely have Ollie stay here again!”

“We had an amazing experience with Ashley and couldn’t recommend her more! We were in town for just one day and wanted to visit the Ark Encounter, so we needed to find someone on short notice to watch our Golden Retriever, Ocean. Ashley was available with only a day’s notice and was incredibly responsive from the start. I’ll admit, I was a little apprehensive since I had never used Rover before, and I knew from her profile that she had four large dogs of her own. But Ashley quickly put my mind at ease. She was so kind, welcoming, and clearly experienced with dogs. She took excellent care of Ocean and went above and beyond by sending photos throughout the day, which meant so much to us and really helped us relax and enjoy our time. It was obvious Ocean was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We are so grateful we found Ashley and would absolutely use her services again. Highly recommend!”

About: I am currently a small animal veterinarian licensed in both Kentucky and Georgia, but have been in the veterinary medical field since 2009, starting out as a vet assistant. While I have enjoyed helping animals throughout my veterinary career, I have decided to step away from the long, demanding hours of clinical medicine in order to have a better work-life balance so that I can spend more time with my family. Pet sitting allows me to continue doing what I love, which is caring for animals. As a veterinarian, I have worked with all ages and breeds of dogs and cats, and I am comfortable administering medications, caring for senior pets, and supporting animals with special medical needs. Whether your pet is an energetic puppy or a senior with more in depth needs, my goal is to make every pet feel comfortable and loved while you're away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, and I will treat your pet(s) as if they were my own, providing regular updates, photos, and plenty of attention so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in experienced, compassionate hands. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or help with a pet who needs a little extra time and attention, I'd love to meet you and your best friend! I look forward to helping your pet stay happy, healthy, and stress-free while you're away. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. As a veterinarian transitioning away from full-time clinical practice to create more time for my family, I now have the flexibility to provide attentive, reliable care for pets throughout the day. Whether it's walks, drop-in visits, playtime, or medication administration, I can easily build my schedule around each pet's individual needs. Caring for animals has always been more than just my profession, it's something I genuinely enjoy and look forward to every day. When caring for pets in your home, I strive to keep their routine as consistent and stress-free as possible. I follow your instructions closely regarding feeding, medications, walks, playtime, and any special needs to ensure your pet feels safe and comfortable while you're away.

“Rachel and her family were fantastic with my energetic 1.5 yo Barbet, DollyP🌸! Rachel was very accommodating! I needed to make a last minute change in my schedule and she was willing to keep Miss DollyP several hours after our agreed upon pickup time! Thankful! Highly recommend her and her family!”

“I was visiting family in the area, and I left my 40 lb female husky with Kimberly for the day. My husky gets anxious in new environments and loves to be outside. Kimberly helped her get acquainted with the new surroundings and took her for SO many walks! When I picked my husky up at the end of the day, she was very happy and very tired! I would definitely contact again and recommend Kimberly. I felt very comfortable, she was very communicative & clearly cared about my husky having a good day too!”

She took us last minute traveling from Louisiana to Columbus GA for my son’s turning blue graduation from the Army then we decided to extend our vacation to the Arc, the sitter I had booked thought it best I find someone with no animals so I was very Thankful for her! About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life. I am especially comfortable taking care of older and senior dogs and adapting to their needs (ex. blind/deaf) and have lived with small to medium breeds. However, I am also experienced with taking care of younger and larger breeds (ex. 1 year old English Labs). I have recently graduated from my undergraduate program, and have plenty of free time while looking for full-time employment. I do have a daughter, which may limit certain appointment times but should be flexible as I do have relatives to help, should I need to check on your pets. Experienced with young and elderly dogs, I am always sure to keep an eye on them when they are outside to prevent any escape or injury, regardless of a fence. If needed, I can also sit with special animals on a schedule, to ensure they go to sleep after meals or a walk.

About: I've helped take care of dogs for friends and family since I graduated from college in 2016. I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury, and apprenticing to become a dog trainer. I have multiple friends that train dogs professionally, my personal dog sees multiple trainers regularly, and I learn new things every day. From obedience to behavior to nutrition, I value all of the practical use, knowledge, and love I can apply to any dog I get the opportunity to work with! I'm a thoroughbred jockey currently off riding due to injury. I have a lot of free time now, and I've started to fill it by gaining as much knowledge and practice in professional pet and sport training for dogs and cats. Rover is a way I may be able to help out my community by applying everything I'm learning for pets and people that need someone that cares about their animals the way I've cared about animals my whole life. At home, I have two lovely house cats and one rambunctious puppy. My cats like their space and will ask for love when they want it. My puppy needs structure in his day to balance activity, learning, enrichment, and rest. I am more than comfortable providing the kind of care any client wants for their furry family members. Whether that's daily enrichment, getting out in the world, or learning an off switch at home. I'm familiar with excited jumping on guests and earning trust from nervous or shy animals. I have Ruffland crash tested kennels in my car and can provide enrichment and new adventures if requested! If you don't have a fenced area around your home, and you are comfortable with it, I do have 20ft long lines I can use so the dogs get a chance to be outside to play and do their business while also ensuring their safety. I've always been an animal lover, and now that I have free time in my life, I want to provide knowledge and time for other animals and their humans that need a helping hand.
About: I have worked with all types of pets throughout my entire life! I have worked with everything from cats and dogs, to snakes and parakeets! I am a student-athlete and I will accommodate to.the best of my abilities. Let me know what times and days work best for you, and I will do what I can to adjust accordingly! My #1 goal is to ensure that the pet is happy and healthy when I am in it's care! I understand that new people can be frightening or scary to a companion animal. My job is to take my time to get to know these pets and make their time with me enjoyable and comfortable!
About: I have been around pets my whole life, but dogs are my favorite! I love them all, from puppies to the senior friends. I regularly care for my family dogs and I have experience caring for friends dogs and I have several regular clients. I have experience with puppy care and training, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience with senior dog care nearing the end of life and all others in between. I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. I understand the importance of keeping dogs engaged, healthy, and active. I do have a part-time job, but schedules are flexible given enough notice. I am so excited to care for your pup! I like to make sure the doggie is a happy, tired doggie when I do have to leave them. They love me and know fun is in store when I’m around. I play fetch and frisbee in the backyard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. If we can’t be outside I’ll play games with them indoors to challenge their minds and keep them occupied. Then of course there’s snuggle time together until they’re ready to nap or go to sleep in their crates or bed.
About: Hey there! I have grown up surrounded by dogs and have always shared special bonds with them. I currently have a 2-year-old cat, Sue, that my friend found while he was fishing. We lost her brother, Charlie, a couple years ago to cancer. He was a black lab pit mix and the best light to your day! I’m currently working part-time and am looking to supplement that with a few hobbies, and opportunities from here. I will try to make myself available as much as possible if you need me. Although I like it when animals are enjoying themselves, I value safety and can be firm when I need to be. I look forward to (hopefully) meeting you & your furry friends soon! I’m currently most flexible for over the night stays and drop by visits or walks. It would be nice to have something routine, but I’m also interested in sporadic opportunities! I'm not offering stays at my home because my cat isn't a big fan of meeting new animals, but I’m available to come to yours!
“Bekah was great! She took great care of my dog and cat while I worked a 12-hour shift with an additional 2-hour commute. She sent pictures of the time she was here, and even brought in a package I had delivered so it wouldn’t sit outside all day! I will definitely rebook with Bekah!”

About: I live on a farm so I’m used to dealing with all kinds of animals. I love dogs and cats and have pets of my own. My animals are like my babies so I promise to treat you babies the way I would treat my own! I work at the Children’s hospital right now so I have days off during the week that I’m looking to fill. I love to get a good walk in everyday so this would be perfect. I want you to feel comfortable knowing that your baby is safe and being cared for. It is super important to me that your pet feels not only safe but loved.
About: I grew up with all kinds of pets- dogs ranging from pomeranians to great danes, cats, reptiles, and small mammals. I spent some time working for a luxury dog hotel and daycare and have pet sat for many families over the years. Now, in addition to caring for people's furry friends, I also work as a holder for a mobile company that does dog, cat, and other pet nails. Pet care is my full-time job! When I'm not pet sitting or walking dogs, I'm helping with pet pedicures. My household is on a second shift schedule, so I can provide check ins later at night and I usually get around to my first morning check ins by 10 a.m. (unless you request earlier). I do not provide care in my home because I currently rent. In your home I am able to provide feeding, watering, potty breaks, play time and attention, (non-injected) medications, and more upon request. When walking your dog(s), I am very attentive and aware, and love providing your companions with positive reinforcement when exhibiting desirable behaviors. I go with your dog's pace, and even offer trips to the dog park if you believe your furry friend needs to get out more than a walks worth of energy!

About: With 20+ years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I provide reliable, attentive pet care for friends, family, and clients. I offer in-home drop-in visits and overnight stays so your pets can stay comfortable in their own environment. I’m experienced with daily routines, feeding, medication, and giving each pet the individual attention they deserve. I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to focus on pet care. I’m available for drop-in visits and overnight stays (in client’s home) throughout the week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. I can adjust to the times that work best for you and your pets. I care for pets with the same attention, gentleness, and love I would give my own. When I’m in your home I carefully follow all house rules, keep everything secure, and stay true to your pet’s normal routine so they feel calm and comfortable. I’m always mindful of doors, windows, and any potential hazards. Throughout the stay I’m happy to send photo updates and messages via text (with your permission).

“We have used Laura multiple times to keep our dog and she is fantastic! She provides consistent updates about his stay and is always so helpful and able to work with us regarding schedules and pick ups/drop offs. Our dog always seems to have a great time!”

“Winnie was great watching my dog while I was out of town. He came home happy and relaxed. She sent pictures and was very communicative and flexible with pick up and drop off. The whole process was really easy and stress-free. Thank you so much.”

“Our girl was well cared for by a loving family. We got daily updates and pictures of Hattie. I believe she had a lovely time with Alyssa and her family. We would definitely book her again. Thanks for taking such good care of our girl.”
