About: Me and my family have taken care of all kinds of pets for years: dogs, birds, and lizards. I’ve had dogs all my life, and others often rely on me and my daughter to take care of their pets! I’m working a part time job and also have to check in on my parents. I’m available after 4:40 PM on weekdays and anytime on weekends I live in a safe, calm neighborhood with much space to walk pets if needed. I have a pet cockatiel which can be kept away from your pet if needed. If boarding, you’re welcome to bring a crate for your dog. My teen daughter lives with me. I currently only work 3 shifts a week so I am available to take care of and board your pets! I have a lot of free time which means your pet will have all the attention and love they desire. Shunita was great and flexible in allowing us to come and pick them up at the end of our night so we didn’t need to leave them overnight. They were kept in kennels but Shunita said she lets them out every 2-3 hours to play in the back yard and go potty. Our puppies are on the larger size and not used to being kenneled or separated so, in the future, I will likely look for someone that allows them to join into a family atmosphere where they can roam & play freely. A smaller or older dog w/lower energy would do great, or a dog that’s used to being in a kennel. (That’s just a preference thing for the current puppies we have.) Shunita was very nice and made me feel relaxed and comfortable in leaving our puppies for the day.”

About: I worked in an overnight pet facility called Pet Station Country Club for close to a year as a part of the overnight team. From around 7pm to 6am I would have personal watch of dozens of pets including cats and dogs, and was in charge of giving them medications and potty breaks. I am also Pet Tech CPR and First Aid certified, so I can give medical attention to your pet in an emergency. I have grown up around all kinds of cats, dogs, rabbits and chickens, and love pets! I am a full time student undergoing my junior year at University of Louisville, but am free multiple times during the day to check in on pets as I live within 5 minutes of campus. My evenings are free, and I have no prior commitments. The townhome I stay in has a fenced in yard and is incredibly close to University's campus, meaning it is a safe environment for walks and care.
