“Stephen and Angela were great! They were great with communication and setting up our dog's stay. We have an older dog who gets anxious at typical boarding facilities but she came home happy, tired, and well cared for. We will definitely use them again next time she needs to stay somewhere!”

“We love Dan! She is a gem and treats our dog like royalty... sometimes we worry he won't want to come back home😂 excellent communication with lots of pictures and updates throughout the day. Truly goes above and beyond. We feel so lucky to have found her! Can't recommend Dan enough!”

“Max could not have been happier this week with Alexis and Daniel. He was so well taken care of, I could not have found a better situation for him for the times I am away. I will certainly continue to book with them whenever I need a sitter.”

“Angela made Sophie one of her family for over two weeks. She sent lots of pictures every day and it was obvious Sophie felt at home. We were afraid she might not want to come home.”

“Bill was amazing watching our hound, who can be anxious. He had great communication and sent plenty of pics throughout her stay. She seemed very relaxed when we picked her up! Will be using his services again.”

“Jared and Waverly were nothing short of fantastic! We left our pup Charlie with them for the long weekend and they were able to accommodate his high energy needs and goofy personality. They gave timely updates with pictures and took great care of Charlie. Pick up and drop off were a breeze. We greatly appreciate their services and will be sure to call them next time we need a dog sitter!”

About: Growing up, my family would foster a lot of dogs so I have a lot of experience with different breeds and different ages and different backgrounds. Nowadays, I just have my dog Daisy and cat mango who are very friendly to other pets. I am available throughout the entire week. On Monday Wednesday and Friday I work but can work from home as needed. I am available to take care of your babies whenever they need. I have a fenced in yard and very safe and friendly neighborhood. I give lots of quality time to the pets that are in my care.
“Miller had the best time! Highly recommend Sean and his services. He gives updates and a peace of mind while you’re away! He truly enjoys spending time with your furry friends!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals all my life. Most recently I began regularly fostering dogs with LMAS. I have fostered over a dozen dogs of all ages but I specialize with puppies. I focus on house and crate training with puppies and I enjoy multiple daily walks through my neighborhood park. I currently work from home from 9-5 and I am free on weekends. In my spare time I enjoy running and riding my bike. I believe in the more the merrier so if your pup is up to join I'm all for it! My home has a moderately sized fenced in backyard and a screened in patio that is very popular with my foster puppies. I enjoy house and crate training and I have had a lot of success through threshold training. I have a Siberian Husky and a Tabby Cat that get along with each other and they also love making new friends.

“Carla was a wonderful dog sitter. We took our senior dog there last minute for a 10 night stay. Carla was very accommodating with our last minute plans. Her house and yard were very dog friendly. She administered various medications properly. When our daughter picked him up, our daughter said that he trotted out the door and seemed very happy. Carla kept us posted with pictures and updates. We will use her again.”

About: We believe every dog deserves individualized care, which is why we only board one family’s dog(s) at a time. This allows us to provide a calm, low-stress environment where your pup receives plenty of attention, affection, and supervision. Our family genuinely enjoys having dogs in our home. Our friendly Siberian Husky loves canine companionship, and our three children enjoy playing fetch, exploring the backyard, and giving our guests lots of love and attention. We tailor each stay to your dog’s personality and needs—whether that means long walks and outdoor adventures or a quiet day relaxing inside. We understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog with someone else because we’ve boarded our own dog, too. That’s why communication is one of our priorities. You’ll receive regular photo and video updates along with messages so you can relax knowing exactly how your pup is doing. Safety is equally important to us. We have a large, securely fenced backyard, require current vaccinations, and carefully introduce dogs to ensure everyone is comfortable. We also keep our schedule flexible so your dog isn’t left alone for long periods and receives the care and attention they deserve. Our goal is simple: to make your dog feel like part of our family while giving you complete peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into our family’s daily routine. We work from home and have flexible schedules, allowing us to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, walks, and lots of attention throughout the day. Because we only care for one family’s pet(s) at a time, we can tailor our routine to meet your dog’s individual needs and help them feel right at home. Our pets are part of the family! Our friendly Siberian Husky loves to play and enjoys the company of other dogs. We provide daily walks, playtime, plenty of outdoor time in our securely fenced yard, and lots of love and attention. We can accommodate crate-trained dogs and tailor each stay to your pet’s individual routine, personality, and needs, so they’ll feel safe, comfortable, and right at home.
“Haley absolutely saved our life with a VERY last minute booking. She was super responsive, updated with photos, and was super close which made it the easiest experience possible. Cannot rave about her enough!!”

“If you’re thinking of booking Meg, this is your sign to do it! She is so kind and gentle and was incredibly accommodating for all our needs for our sweet dog. We had our dog (2 years ago old Australian cattle dog mix) stay with Meg for a few days while we were in the midst of a big house move. She was the perfect safe and playful landing spot and sent us photos every day of our boy playing with her dog and lounging on the couch and snuggling at her feet while she worked from home. She’s the best, would absolutely book again.”

“Nissa took such wonderful care of our dogs! They had so much fun and I loved all the thoughtful updates while we were gone. I felt so much better knowing they were in great hands!”

“Sharon took very good care of my dog Bear for the week I was gone and Wesley was a great friend for her as well. She is very understanding and flexible when I got delayed due to a snowstorm. I can’t recommend her enough as someone who will take care of your fur babies as her own and leave you with no worries!”

“This was my second time using Heather’s boarding service and as Always, it was a great time to know my boy is safe and having fun with her and her dog Remi! I’ll continue to use her services anytime I’m traveling out here! She is a wonderful woman who is for sure an animal lover and a great caretaker. She sends updates and pictures of how they are all doing! If you’re looking for a sitter, look no further. She is the one to use”

“I have never left my dogs with a sitter before and Jessica was amazing. Completely eased my mind about leaving my boys with her and kept me updated with pictures while I was away. I will definitely use her again.”

About: Welcome! We're the Phenix family—a family of six (plus our two sweet dogs!). We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means visiting dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours and have plenty of opportunities to get outside. Safety is one of our top priorities. Our spacious backyard is fully fenced with a secure 4-foot wrought iron fence, giving dogs lots of room to run and play. We know some pups are talented escape artists, so our gates are secured with locks, and every guest wears an AirTag during their stay as an extra precaution—just in case we have a little Houdini on our hands! Our 2 resident pups are Athena (a Collie) and Lulu (a Beagle mix). Both are 10 years old, gentle, and experienced hosts. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. We look forward to welcoming your pup into our family and treating them like one of our own while you're away! Our day starts with dogs being let out to go to the bathroom at 6am then breakfast. We have had some late sleepers stay with us, so we do adjust for our sleepy friends. Dogs have access to the backyard whenever they would like and we have plenty of dog toys for them to enjoy. We are happy to accommodate any feeding schedule, so we can keep your pup as close to their normal routine as possible. We have a fully fenced in yard with locks on the gates. Since we know some dogs are great at escaping, we have an air tag just in case.

About: If your dog thinks every walk is an Olympic event, I'm ready for the challenge. I've been walking dogs in my neighborhood for 9 years and have two dogs of my own, so I know that every dog has a different personality. From energetic pullers to squirrel chasers to dogs who get excited when they see other pups, I've learned how to stay calm, patient, and in control while making sure they have fun. I'm comfortable giving medications, providing overnight care, and adapting to each dog's unique personality and needs. At 21, I have the energy for long walks and active dogs, but also the patience and experience to handle more challenging situations safely and calmly. I treat every dog as if they were my own and work hard to make sure they get the exercise, attention, and care they deserve. I’m currently a college student and also working full-time as an intern at a civil engineering firm, so my schedule is pretty structured during the day. The best times for me to care for pets are in the afternoons and evenings. At my home, I make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and part of the routine. I stick to their usual schedule as much as possible. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications they need. I also make sure they get plenty of attention and don’t feel stressed while I'm away. In a client’s home, I try to keep things as normal as possible for the pet. I follow all instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding times, walks, meds, or special care. I always make sure they have fresh water, a clean space, and enough exercise and attention. I treat every pet like they’re my own and keep owners updated so they know their pet is doing well!

“Gabriella was very invested in our cat’s wellbeing while we were gone and went above and beyond. She made sure he had company and got everything he needed. I really appreciated her time investment and transparent, picture-laden updates at every check-in. Definitely recommended to book her!”

About: I’m a dedicated animal lover who volunteers at a shelter cleaning cat kennels. With my experience in the shelter I’ve learned to prioritize calm, attentive, and reliable care for cats. I understand that every cat has their own personality some are social and cuddly, others are independent observers and I always adjust my care to match what makes your cat feel most comfortable. With my Dog Shelter Handling Certificate and RECOVER Pet CPR certification, I bring knowledge of safe animal handling, behavior awareness, and emergency preparedness. I’m comfortable caring for cats of all temperaments, including shy, anxious, or senior cats who need a gentle and patient approach. With me, your cat can expect: - Consistent feeding and litter care routines - Playtime tailored to their energy and personality - Calm companionship (or respectful space, if they prefer solitude) -Daily updates with photos and notes for peace of mind My goal is to keep your cat feeling safe, relaxed, and cared for in their own home while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. I treat every visit with patience, respect, and attention to detail so both you and your cat feel at ease. I look forward to meeting you and your feline friend!

“This was our first experience with Rover and the entire process was perfect. From Tabitha's meet and greet with my cats, I knew we were in good hands. Tabitha worked with our schedule, kept us in the know with texts and pictures, and went above and beyond our expectations. She was not offended by our "skeptical of all new people" Millie and managed the needs and meds of our 22 year old Emi with gentle care and attention. Tabitha is a keeper!!!”
“Julia is amazing!! She provided exceptional care for our 18 year old kitty while we were away 16 days!! Updates were timely and reassuring with pictures and notes. This was the first time we left Maddy for an extended time and we couldn’t be happier with her care. I highly recommend Julia to care for your pets.”

“Natalie was very nice and accommodated us very well. I made a mistake which she was happy to work around. She's the cat whisperer and was able to make friends with my very shy cat so I'm super grateful for it!”

“Shaine took care of a feral cat that I have been caring for over the last eight years. Feral cats choose people not the other way around. It was obvious from how close this cat came to Shaine that she is good people. I would recommend Shaine for simple or complicated pet sitting needs.”

“This is my first time using Rover or having a pet sitter outside family/friends watch my cats. I was a little nervous leaving them with someone new, but I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Joanna was great with my cats. She was very communicative and left detailed notes of her visits. I would definitely have her watch my cats again. Thank you so much!”

“Janet was great with my three cats while I was on vacation for 5 days. Aside from basic feeding and cleaning the boxes, she took time to hang out with the kitties and play with them during her visit. She’s very responsive and left detailed notes each time she checked on the cats. Janet also took a bunch of cute pictures for every visit. I highly recommend her if you’re looking for a dependable and sweet pet sitter!”

Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved while in my care.

“Caitlin did an amazing job taking care of our two cats while we were out of town! It was sudden for an out of state funeral, and she set up the meet and greet asap for us. She was incredibly thoughtful and detailed how their behavior was for us everyday. She also made sure to verify anything she wasn’t sure about via the app so she didn’t get anything wrong. She also got plenty of pictures of them each visit so we could visually see how they were feeling. Loved her and you will too!!!!”

“Jared and Waverly were great with our dogs, and even managed to get my curmudgeon named skittles to positively interact with a couple older dogs! They were flexible and understanding of my changing schedule, as we were on a road trip and only needed help for a few hours. If I’m ever in Louisville with the doggos again I’d contact them straightaway”

“Gabriella is wonderful and took great care of our Husky, Moose. She sent tons of pictures of him and Yeti playing, running, and playing some more. Yeti was great with Moose, and he has another friend to play with!”

About: I’ve worked with dogs for over 20 years, with much of that time spent walking and handling shelter dogs—especially those that are anxious or unsure. That experience taught me how important calm, structure, and consistency are in helping dogs feel more confident. I run Trail & Heel, a dog training and adventure-based care service in Louisville. I focus on practical, real-world training—whether that’s working with puppies, improving leash manners, or helping nervous dogs build confidence. Every walk and interaction is handled with intention. For me, care and training go hand in hand, with the goal of helping dogs become calmer, more reliable, and easier to live with. Caring for dogs is already part of my everyday life, so it fits naturally into my routine. I plan my schedule around the dogs I’m working with so I’m not rushing between visits. That means each dog gets calm, consistent attention and a much better experience overall. Care is always tailored to the dog and the service, but the approach stays consistent: calm, structured, and intentional. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their routine—feeding, potty breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions—while also reinforcing good habits like leash manners, calm greetings, and settling. In my home, I keep the environment structured and low-stress. Dogs get supervised time, appropriate exercise (including trail walks when it’s a good fit), and clear boundaries so they can relax and succeed. I only take on a small number of dogs at a time to make sure each one gets the attention they need.
“I’m so happy Bear had a great time with this sitter, she was amazing at being available short notice and took very good care of my dog. I highly recommend this sitter!”

About: About Me: Hi! I’m a caring, reliable pet sitter who treats every animal like family. I have more than 10 years of experience with cats and dogs. My husband, our 5-year-old son, 8-year-old daughter and I care for pets together, so your cutie gets lots of attention, companionship, and a warm home atmosphere. We genuinely enjoy spending time with pets—playing, relaxing, and giving them the affection they deserve. We love the outdoors, so if your pet enjoys it too, we’re happy to include fun adventures like neighborhood walks, gentle hikes, and fresh-air outings—always tailored to your pet’s age, energy level, and routine. If I’m staying in a city with a nearby beach, such as San Jose or San Francisco (where I sometimes visit family), we may also enjoy a beach outing, always with your permission and only if it’s a good fit for your pet. For pets who prefer a quieter pace, we’re just as happy to provide calm companionship, enrichment, and cozy cuddle time at home. Cleanliness and health are a big priority for me. I take pride in maintaining a clean, safe environment—deep-cleaning litter boxes, keeping feeding areas tidy, refreshing water bowls, and making sure pet spaces stay comfortable and sanitary. I believe the small details truly make a big difference for pets and their families. Most importantly, I care for every animal as if they were my own. I’m patient, gentle, and attentive to behavior cues, routines, and preferences—whether your pet is playful, shy, energetic, or senior. Daily Updates: I will send daily updates with photos and videos, so you can see how your pet is doing and feel relaxed while you’re away. I can also include notes on meals, walks/potty breaks, playtime, and overall mood if you’d like. What You Can Expect: Loving, family-style care and companionship Clean, healthy pet environment (litter box/feeding area hygiene) Routine-focused care (meals, meds if needed, walk schedules) Daily photo + video updates for peace of mind On a weekly basis, I set aside time for deeper tasks like thorough litter box cleaning, refreshing food and water stations, and ensuring medications or special diets are handled with care. Because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, these responsibilities don’t feel like chores — they’re a rewarding part of my everyday life. The boarding is available daily after around 3 p.m. When I board pets in my home, I treat them as part of the family. I provide a safe, clean, and pet-friendly environment with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. Pets stay on their normal routine as much as possible — including feeding times, walks, medications, and bedtime habits — so they feel comfortable and secure.
“Colin was absolutely amazing! I found him on short notice and he was super accommodating. I have a yorkie puppy who seemed to play fabulously with his Yorkies. Pups came back super tired from all the play time all while Colin kept me up to date with photos throughout the day. Highly recommend and will use again!”

Just down the street from me is a beautiful dog park, with lots of space to run, play, and socialize with other dogs! I would be thrilled to provide a comfortable and safe environment for your loved ones, worry free for both you and them, while on vacation. I'm an animal lover and can promise you they'll receive lots of attention, play time, and affection, while you are off enjoying some time to yourself! My current schedule is flexible and allows me time for drop in visits, daily walks and overnight boarding for most of the day and evening. I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, so I tailor my care to each individual animal. In a client’s home, I follow their normal schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medications, potty breaks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I’m very attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, energy level, or anything else that seems out of the ordinary, and I’ll always communicate with you if I have any concerns. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing while you’re away. Most importantly, I want your pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved in their own environment. I treat every animal in my care with the same patience and attention I would want someone to give my own.
“Taylor is awesome. He was so good to my dogs. He walked them & played with them. He is great with animals. He is reliable & dependable. He helped me with a lot of things like fresh water & feeding the dogs. I'm asking him to continue helping me.”

About: Hello! You can call me Wendy. I’m a tenured physics professor and a lifelong animal lover. I currently have three cats of my own and many years of experience caring for both cats and dogs. I have experience caring for senior pets and understand the importance of routines, medication schedules, and paying close attention to changes in behavior and health. I’m patient, reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their family is away. For pets boarding in my home, I understand that some pets may be more comfortable having their own space. If you prefer, I can keep my three cats completely separate from your pet for the entire stay, so your pet can relax in a safe, quiet environment. As a professor, I bring professionalism, responsibility, and strong communication to every pet-sitting job. My schedule is especially flexible during evenings, weekends, holidays, and university breaks. Whether you need house sitting, drop-in visits, dog walking, feeding, litter box cleaning, or care for senior pets, I will treat your pets and home with the same care and respect I give my own.
“Jenna fit our needs and our dogs needs beautifully and seamlessly. She's a great communicator. Thank You Jenna. We are looking forward to booking more walks with you.”

About: I’ve been dog sitting since I was 16 for neighbors and friends and I love it. I bathe, walk, and play with them and make sure all their needs are taken care of. I am currently a senior at the University of Louisville so I have plenty of time to take care and love your little ones. I love meeting new pups and cats! I have a nice backyard with no houses behind it and a friendly dog and cat who love a little company. Our dog is 2 and our cat is 3!
About: Not only have I worked with animals my whole life I also work with dogs specifically with a rescue organization called AdoptMeBluegrass. I help with their animal care weekly and am part of their foster program. My family and my own dogs have welcomed hundreds of others into our home and always provide excellent care. I am a local landlord and typically only go out to work at the pet adoption center for AdoptMeBluegrass. I have no set work hours. I spend my time with the dogs. I have a double fenced property on a dead end street. Dogs love the 3/4 dedicated dog yard for them to play on our 6 acres of land. We have crates and can make your pet feel right at home. I’m a treats giver so let me know if there is something they can’t have or any other dietary restrictions. I can also come to your pet for services while you are away.

About: I ran my mother’s pet care business for 2 years and am now working independently. I can easily build rapport and trust with any pet, and can handle all sizes and temperaments. Currently working Monday through Saturday from 6am to 7pm. This is my only job at the moment so my availability is wide open and I will accept same day bookings. I build trust and respect with any pet I encounter. I’ll ensure everyone’s care needs are met, and give your pets plenty of love and attention to hold them over until they see you next.

About: I grew up with dogs and cats in and outside the home. Even had my own cat (Princess) for five years before she passed. I’ve never been paid to take care of animals for people outside the family but I’ve done plenty of animal care for family members. I am on my off season for work till August 26th. My daily routine for when I’m off work like this is going to peddlers malls, parks, and hanging out inside reading or watching shows. Usually free during the week any time and the weekends I am generally more busy. I do not have the facilities to bring any pets back to my apartment but I always respect people’s wants for their pets especially since you’d be paying me to do a good job.

“My Wilson was wonderfully taken care of by Sarah and her family, and their two pups were great with him, as was Butcher the pig. I will ask Sarah if she’ll be able to board Wilson again next time I have to go out of town.”
