She sent two pictures and updates a day and my dog looked happy. When we left LJ jumped up to get Allison to pet her. The setting is a mini farm. Dogs will not interact with livestock (chicken, ducks and sheep, etc) but get the fun of seeing them. Your dog will be outside a lot and get great exercise. However, from this experience, they will come back healthy, well-exercised and happy. I would be delighted to use Allison again”

About: Throughout most of my life my family has had cats. For a long time when I moved to the country, we only had one cat that was outside most of the time, his name was Henry and he was so sweet. However, after he passed, we adopted two beautiful baby kittens a few months later, Teddy and June! Me and my siblings helped raise those tiny kittens to the big beautiful fur balls they are now and they are the most loving and sweetest cats we have ever had for our family. I also help take care of cats through the humane society at my job at Petsense, I do my best to visit the local humane societies as often as I can to love on all the kitty babies. I do have 2 loving animals, a golden retriever and a corgi here in the home. There is always a family member here on the property full time. I have a large property for the animals to roam and a large section of it is fenced in. About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.

About: I have been raised around animals and pets(livestock, dogs, cats, birds, etc.) ever since I could remember. I lived in a farm town with a wide variety of animals. My mother also owned a boarding and grooming facility that I was raised at feeding, watering, and walking the animals. I’m a senior at Lindsey Wilson University, I graduate in December ‘26. I prefer going to a client's house to take care of their animals in a familiar environment, along with a detailed list of instructions of do's and dont's for their pet. Instructions on animal care are to ensure the animal's safety when they are with me, without me needing to unnecessarily contact and bother the owner while they are away. Also, a general list of outdoor activities I can do with the pet is welcome. For example, if I can take the pet hiking, to the park, for walks, etc. Also, does your pet get along with other animals, children, or people well, and does your pet get car sick? These variables are essential information for me to know to ensure the best care while you are away. My passion is pets, and I want to ensure your pets are comfortable and safe with me, so I highly encourage more than enough information on caring for your babies. Please note if your location is 40 miles, plus, in distance from my Rover given location, I charge for milage, for the traveling/distance in the initial reservation contact message for meet and greets. I will send you a new quote to your initial request for these changes in price due to milage charges. Thank you for understanding this policy.

“Allison was easy to work with. She was flexible on pick up and drop off times. We have a single dog, that is like a second child to us, a terrier who loves to play with other dogs and she loved playing with Allison's collie in the beautifully fenced yard. She sent two pictures and updates a day and my dog looked happy. When we left LJ jumped up to get Allison to pet her. The setting is a mini farm. Dogs will not interact with livestock (chicken, ducks and sheep, etc) but get the fun of seeing them. Your dog will be outside a lot and get great exercise. However, from this experience, they will come back healthy, well-exercised and happy. I would be delighted to use Allison again”

When in your home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! My house has a large back yard that’s perfect for dogs to play and run around in! It’s not fenced in but I’m very active and am happy to run around with your dog on a leash! We have one dog at our house who is smaller, but gets along and plays with other dogs very well. My dog gets excited and barks when he sees other dogs, but will calm down after a couple of minutes. My family and I are all pet lovers and they have had a lot of experience with pets as well. I also go on run and walks daily and would be happy to take your dog or pet along with me!

I was a bit nervous ... first because it would have been first time dog was left at another home and second because it was the first time I used Allison & Justin. About: Hi there! I have been pet sitting for a couple of years and have also been employed at a dog training and daycare for roughly seven months. While I was there, I learned all about dog behavior and how to handle it when things get rough. I am comfortable around animals and my ability to recognize their needs. I adopted a kitten one year ago and have loved taking care of him. I’ve lived with dogs my whole life, I am now only taking care of my cat but still love dogs deeply. I work a time variable job. During the week I’m usually up and out of the house by 5:30-6am and home by 3. Sometimes that varies. I’ve been home by noon some days. That being said if your dog needs potty breaks frequently, I would not be the best option for you. It’s important to me and your pet that I keep them comfortable and safe. I love to give animals the time and attention they deserve!!
