“I’m so grateful for Dina! She took in my two dogs while I was away for a week and they were comfortable and content when I picked them up. One of my dogs is reactive and Dina and her family handled her flawlessly. Dina’s knowledge of dogs and their body language was a blessing! Thank you!”

“Valerie and Brian have a peaceful and clean home. They were kind and communicative. I appreciated the pics of our dog during his stay. He gets nervous around other dogs and did very well with their sweet dog Ollie! Wonderful sitters! Highly recommend!”

“The pups seem to have had a great time getting spoiled! We got plenty of updates on how they were doing during the stay, which helped immensely! They commonly get upset/stressed with traditional boarding, so this was a great alternative. Would recommend!”

“Kelsey was awesome with my Great Dane zeke. He usually has a rough time at boarders when he’s in a crate and won’t eat, drink etc. Kelsey went above and beyond to make sure my big guy was taken care of and comfortable. He went on walks, car rides and even had a heated mattress cover on him.he is worn out.i would use her again and advise anyone to use her. She will go above and beyond to make sure your pets are comfortable.”

“We went out of town for a week leaving our one year old Bulldog with Nef. He came to meet our dog and even accommodated transportation. Thanks Nef for the outstanding service!”

“I can’t explain how much of a relief it was to find Allison before a long trip out of state! I was nervous about sending our 2 dogs to someone new, but Allison went above and beyond for everything. We did a meet and greet at her house and she took detailed notes of any info I gave her. She sent daily pictures & sometimes video updates of our boys playing and snuggling with her, her husband and their dog, and taking them to the dog park. When we got home later than expected they were super kind and understanding. Our dogs clearly had a BLAST and came home very happy and healthy! I’m so happy to have doggie sitter friends nearby that I trust now!!”

My dogs were at ease and happy to see me when I got there, but I could tell they felt at home with her and her husband!! Thank you so much.”

“Kristin and her family we great and welcomed my dog into their family! My dog is older and needed to be inside where it is cool and they always had someone at home for her. They had 1 dog who got along well with Jenny. I highly recommend Kristin and will definitely put my girl there again.”

“Andrew made our Bear feel welcome right away by playing with him and introducing him to his small dog, Lucky Bear. He had lots of room to play inside and was given regular walks. We’d definitely use him again for watching Bear.”

“Clarissa, we had a wonderful experience and couldn't be happier with the care provided. From the beginning, you were communicative, reliable, and genuinely caring. What stood out most was her willingness to make accommodations and work with our schedule and specific needs, which made the entire process stress-free. It was clear that Lena was treated with patience, and attention, and we received updates that gave us peace of mind while we were in our event. Knowing our pup was in such good hands allowed us to fully enjoy our time. About: I have had dogs and cats in my life for over 50 years. I was so lucky to grow up in a home that was the local Noah’s Arc. This childhood formed my commitment and love to animals. About 20 years ago, I decided to enter the world of pure bred dogs and have been an avid exhibitor and breeder of Pointers and Ridgebacks focused always on good temperaments and health. I love dogs and really believe it’s important that each animal I care for, feels at home, comfortable, pampered, exercised and loved. I have 4 dogs that are super casual and it has been very easy to bring animals into my home. I will only take 1 or 2 dogs at a time, as I want to be able to provide the best care possible for them. Your animals are treated as though they are mine and the care and love they will experience can only be exceeded by you. It’s always stressful for animals to be away from their families, so the more I can do to relieve this stress, the better I feel. I always tease my clients that their dogs may come home a little spoiled. I’m very much available all day really to take care of the dogs as my schedule is very flexible. In addition my brother lives with me and he helps me take care of the dogs. There is always a person at our house while your dog will be visiting. I also offer a military discount for those that have or are serving our beautiful country. I do not work outside of the home, which provides me with a lot of flexibility to provide dedicated care to your pets all day. I think it's important dogs that stay at my house receive the same amount of attention as they would at home and as my dogs do. I also believe it's important not to disrupt their daily routine, so I work closely with owners to understand each Dog needs.

My husband is home during the day and can accommodate evening/medication admin as well. We have play time, quiet time, physical and mental exertion! We have a large fenced in back yard. We allow our pet on furniture and don’t mind if yours joins in on the cuddles! We always prefer to do a meet and greet before hosting your pets, as we know you love them like family! My husband works from home and I am a stay at home mom! We like to keep to schedules with our own dog and will happily follow the schedule your pup is used to! About: I grew up on a farm in NC surrounded by animals, and dogs have always been a big part of my life. Caring for pets comes naturally to me, and I enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I recently moved to Lexington with my husband, who is a veterinarian, which has given me an even greater appreciation for pet health and well-being. Whether your dog is an energetic puppy, a senior needing extra patience, or somewhere in between, I'll provide attentive, reliable care while you're away! I currently work part-time and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting throughout the week. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care. When caring for pets in a client's home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure. Whether it's walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply providing companionship, I follow each owner's instructions closely and treat every home and pet with the same care and respect I would my own. As a pet owner myself to an 11½-year-old Maltipoo, I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your furry family member.

“First time using Rover.com. Sarah came for a meet and greet with our Sophie on Monday, then we booked her for walks on Tuesday and Wednesday. Sarah is very dependable and responsive. Thank you for accepting our last minute requests.”

“Rachel is the first dog walker I’ve ever hired, and my first experience with Rover. She has been exceptional. SO sweet, great at communicating, and timely. She also spent an extra 20-30 minutes walking my dog (after communicating to see if it was ok), trying to track down a bandana that had fallen off. She has been a huge help to my family, and I can’t recommend her enough.”

“Glenn did a great job taking care of our dog. He was prompt, respectful and able to accommodate us at the last minute. We highly recommend him for your dog walking needs”

About: I have cared for animals of all kinds ranging from ferrets and bunnies to horses and large dogs, several of which had various medical needs and requirements. I also have experience in basic training for dogs if a training regimen is required. I am currently waiting for the fall semester for college to start so I have lots of free time to devote to the care and safety of your animals. While I cannot care for other dogs or cats in my home, small pets like ferrets and chinchillas are welcome if they travel with an enclosure.
About: I've had dogs since I was three. I grew up with beagles but have owned a German shepherd, pitties and now an English bulldog. As well as an iguana, frogs, toads, parakeets and hamsters. Oh, and a pigeon. I've always been the one who had to save every living creature. Neighbors have brought me wounded yard creatures to try and save. Saved wild baby bunnies from a bad case of bloat. I've taken first aid/CPCR class. I can trim nails, bathe, walk, run, teach, snuggle and play. I really enjoy brushing them, it strengthens our bond and trust. I will keep them safe and love them like my own. I have cared for puppies to seniors. My animals tend to live long lives. I've never really met an animal I didn't want to kiss. I try to kiss every nose I see. I am a Air Force veteran and no longer work. So I can come to your pet anytime. Kids are grown and don't need me. I can care for your animals in your home. I also provide transportation, if needed. Leashes and car seat belts are a must for me. I have very few limitations, since I don't work a regular job anymore. Feel free to ask me anything. I look forward to making new friends and kissing new noses.
About: I have been around pets my whole life, but dogs are my favorite! I love them all, from puppies to the senior friends. I regularly care for my family dogs and I have experience caring for friends dogs and I have several regular clients. I have experience with puppy care and training, bathing, feeding, and administering medication. I also have experience with senior dog care nearing the end of life and all others in between. I have no trouble creating the special bond needed with most dog personalities. Dogs are truly our best friends! I play and exercise my own dogs daily. I understand the importance of keeping dogs engaged, healthy, and active. I do have a part-time job, but schedules are flexible given enough notice. I am so excited to care for your pup! I like to make sure the doggie is a happy, tired doggie when I do have to leave them. They love me and know fun is in store when I’m around. I play fetch and frisbee in the backyard and go on long walks around the neighborhood. If we can’t be outside I’ll play games with them indoors to challenge their minds and keep them occupied. Then of course there’s snuggle time together until they’re ready to nap or go to sleep in their crates or bed.

About: I have grown up with dogs in the house my whole life. I am especially comfortable taking care of older and senior dogs and adapting to their needs (ex. blind/deaf) and have lived with small to medium breeds. However, I am also experienced with taking care of younger and larger breeds (ex. 1 year old English Labs). I have recently graduated from my undergraduate program, and have plenty of free time while looking for full-time employment. I do have a daughter, which may limit certain appointment times but should be flexible as I do have relatives to help, should I need to check on your pets. Experienced with young and elderly dogs, I am always sure to keep an eye on them when they are outside to prevent any escape or injury, regardless of a fence. If needed, I can also sit with special animals on a schedule, to ensure they go to sleep after meals or a walk.
About: I grew up with all kinds of pets- dogs ranging from pomeranians to great danes, cats, reptiles, and small mammals. I spent some time working for a luxury dog hotel and daycare and have pet sat for many families over the years. Now, in addition to caring for people's furry friends, I also work as a holder for a mobile company that does dog, cat, and other pet nails. Pet care is my full-time job! When I'm not pet sitting or walking dogs, I'm helping with pet pedicures. My household is on a second shift schedule, so I can provide check ins later at night and I usually get around to my first morning check ins by 10 a.m. (unless you request earlier). I do not provide care in my home because I currently rent. In your home I am able to provide feeding, watering, potty breaks, play time and attention, (non-injected) medications, and more upon request. When walking your dog(s), I am very attentive and aware, and love providing your companions with positive reinforcement when exhibiting desirable behaviors. I go with your dog's pace, and even offer trips to the dog park if you believe your furry friend needs to get out more than a walks worth of energy!
About: I was born into an animal-loving family and I have continued to instill this love for animals in my own children. I have had a menagerie of animals all of my life. At the young age of 12, I started walking the neighbors' dogs and going to their houses when they were out of town to feed, water, and walk their pets. In college, I worked part-time in several different veterinary clinics. I am still very well connected to the veterinary world so if I am unsure of something involving my pets, I am able to reach out to get an answer pretty quickly. Over my lifetime of 40 yrs. I have had at least 20 dogs, 10 cats, several rabbits, horses, chinchillas, guinea pigs, hamsters, and a few reptiles (but no snakes). In my full-time job, I have a hybrid work schedule. Some days I am in the office and some days I work from home. This allows some flexibility when caring for fur babies. My family also helps care for our "animal guests". It is a group effort! I have a 1/2 acre that is fenced. I have 3 dogs- a Newfoundland, Black Lab, and a Beagle. All of my dogs are rescues. I know that I rescued them but as cheesy as it sounds, most days I feel like they rescued me. Each of them has their own personality, which I love. My dogs are usually always by my side when I am home. My dogs love to jump on the bed or couch and get snuggles. I also have 3 cats. All of them found us. They were all dumped on us and of course, I couldn't turn them away. :) I would treat your animals the same way I treat mine- with love and snuggles.
About: Hey there! I have grown up surrounded by dogs and have always shared special bonds with them. I currently have a 2-year-old cat, Sue, that my friend found while he was fishing. We lost her brother, Charlie, a couple years ago to cancer. He was a black lab pit mix and the best light to your day! I’m currently working part-time and am looking to supplement that with a few hobbies, and opportunities from here. I will try to make myself available as much as possible if you need me. Although I like it when animals are enjoying themselves, I value safety and can be firm when I need to be. I look forward to (hopefully) meeting you & your furry friends soon! I’m currently most flexible for over the night stays and drop by visits or walks. It would be nice to have something routine, but I’m also interested in sporadic opportunities! I'm not offering stays at my home because my cat isn't a big fan of meeting new animals, but I’m available to come to yours!

I love exercise and often walk my own dog 4-5 times a day. I have lived with dogs my whole life. I know how to feed, walk, and love a dog. I will treat your furr babies like they are my own. I will give them plenty of love, I will play with them, and get all their energy out!

“Andrew is the best sitter for senior pups. I travel a lot for work and i know Marlo is well taken care of when Andrew watches him. Cosmo is an amazing pup friend to Marlo.”

“The pups seem to have had a great time getting spoiled! We got plenty of updates on how they were doing during the stay, which helped immensely! They commonly get upset/stressed with traditional boarding, so this was a great alternative. Would recommend!”
“Bret was amazing, took great care of my Velcro baby. I work nights & Bret was able to accommodate my last minute booking. He’s very thorough & kind. I know Dior had a great time spending the night with him & his family. We would definitely be booking again.”

“Another great stay at the farm for our Goldens! They love Nancy and are always excited to go. When we pick them up they are always happy! The best part is not having to worry and being able to have a great trip because we know they are being well taken care of! Thanks Nancy! 😊”

“Amber was great to work with and quick to respond, communicate, and make me feel comfortable leaving my dog there. She made sure my dog was taken care of in the best possible way and sent me daily updates and pictures. I would highly recommend!”

“Laura was great with our pup! She was accommodating with our drop-off and pick-up times, sent a thorough summary of how he was doing each day, and included photos. Definitely recommend!”

“Ashely takes such good care of our puppy, and we all know pups can be a handful!! Birdie always comes back in as good of condition or better when we pick her up. It’s easy to see that Ashley pays special care and attention to the animals she sits.”

My dog is very picky on who she likes however it was love from first sight. This was the first time we had to board our dog and now we have our go to person for life.

“Kristin and her family we great and welcomed my dog into their family! My dog is older and needed to be inside where it is cool and they always had someone at home for her. They had 1 dog who got along well with Jenny. I highly recommend Kristin and will definitely put my girl there again.”

“Lynn is the best sitter. She has a huge fenced front and backyard and 4 great loving dogs. Her 4 dogs added our 2 dogs to their family. My dogs had a great time. She always shares videos and pics of them playing together. One of the best experiences i have had. Will be definitely giving our pups to Lynn whenever we go our of town.”

“Alex and Martha have a clean home, a gorgeous backyard and multiple sweet, furry friends that Calliope LOVED to play with. They were communicative and very accommodating - I got picture/video updates every day, and I could tell Calliope was having a BLAST. Will absolutely reach out when I need someone to watch my Gremlin Princess again :)”

“Ann took excellent care of my dog, Max! She ensured that he got plenty of playtime, and sent me plenty of pictures and updates daily. She even surprised me by giving him a good bath! She also kept him an extra night when I got stranded at the airport. She certainly has a passion for caring for dogs.”

“Jason and Brooke were great! They kept me up to date with Rupp and sent pictures. Rupp loved hanging out with their daughter and sleeping with her at night. We will definitely use their services again!”
