About: I have always had animals in my life growing up in a rural area with dogs, cats, ducks, you name it! I love animals of all sorts, but dogs have a special place in my heart. I have one dachshund, Reuben, that I take on daily walks, and play daily fetch games with. Our favorite thing to do is to hang outside in the fenced backyard most evenings enjoying some shade and the breeze. We also take frequent trips to the local dog park for some socializing and pup treats. He recently lost his brother, Carlos, to an autoimmune disorder, so he would love the company of another loving dog ❤️ If I could have all of the dogs in the world I totally would. Let me care for your loved one(s) while you are away, so you can enjoy your time worry free knowing your pup(s) are in good hands! I currently work remote from home, so most mornings we wake up, eat breakfast and go potty, and then they lounge while I work on the computer. Around noon we either go out into the fenced backyard to enjoy the afternoon or go on a few block walk. I pick up my son around 4pm and we head to the backyard for some time in the sun (unless it’s too warm). Most evenings we then do dinner and for a walk around the neighborhood for about a half hour. After my two year old goes to bed we lounge around in the living room. I have a fenced yard with an almost 13 year old dachshund who has never met a stranger; dog or person! The back door leads directly into the backyard with no possible exit other than a latched gate.

About: Pets are my world. I volunteered at an animal rescue for 8 years before I moved out of town. I had a 14-year-old rescue who was blind and diabetic. I gave him two injections a day and cooked his food every week. Let your pup be my new bestie. I currently do not have a set schedule so my schedule is pretty flexible to keep your babies company when needed even in short notice! “Jamie, who goes by Lynn, was absolutely the perfect match for my dog. She is patient, kind and loving. She kept him the entire day and he was one happy dog when I picked him up. Lynn wanted to know all about him and any instructions for the day at drop off and she followed them perfectly. She has a fenced yard and they spent a lot of time out there. It is about a 20 minute drive for me and there are plenty of sitters closer, but I will continue to make the drive, because it doesn’t get any better than her.”

About: Hi! My name is Emm! I am a queer and queer-friendly person and active in my community. I have taken care of animals since I was 8. I raised puppies, walked massive dobermans, and at one point took care of 13 dogs at once! Feeding, watering, cleaning up after, walking, and loving your pet like you would are my top priorities. I lived with my father after becoming an adult and took care of his cat. Animals of all kinds are fine by me! I'm available at any time! When I am not working, I spend my time with my partner, listen to music, and practice my culinary skills. If I stay at your home, I will respect your pets and your things like you're my family. Your pets will be pampered and well cared for. I'll take great care of them, and give them plenty of love and attention.
“We will definitely use Melody again- you will not be disappointed! We have a 9 month old golden doodle and decided to take a last minute trip. We have never used a boarding service before, so I was extremely nervous! Upon booking, we spoke with Melody, who was quick with her responses, she explained her background (30 years of dog sitting!), the layout of where the dogs stay, and her daily routine with them. We felt she was a good match for our expectations. We arrived at her location, and felt a huge sense of relief! Melody has safe drop off/ pick up procedures, she has multiple gates you have to go in/ out of, and a large area in the back for the dogs to run and play. She evaluated Charlie and reassured us she was in good hands. We received a text 5 minutes after drop off that Charlie was happy and had already made a few puppy pals. With our overly excited, crazy dog I was expecting to get a phone call asking us to pick her up-NOT AT ALL! We are very happy with this experience and in fact, we spoke with Melody about bringing Charlie a few times durning the week for daycare. She is reasonably priced and truly cares about each pup! Only negative was, we did not get to see the atmosphere of where the dogs stay inside, but this is Melody’s house, so we respect that.”
