About: I work from home (even pre-pandemic) with my terrier mix assistant, Mochi. I have many years of experience with dogs, as pets and as a volunteer at a local animal shelter. Not currently accepting new clients, as Mochi is now a grumpy old man and not interested in new friends. Why I love dog sitting I have had a dog since I was a child. I have always loved dogs, especially rescues. Having another dog or two around gives my dog a chance to socialize & play while I work. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and have been pet sitting dogs and cats since my early teens. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and medical needs, including diabetic dogs requiring insulin injections, blind dogs, pets with seizures, and dogs with mobility and potty issues. In my home, I do my best to create a safe and comfortable environment where pets can feel relaxed, cared for, and entertained. I have a fully fenced-in yard that backs up to a park, which gives dogs plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, play, and exercise. I also have a separate guest room available if an owner prefers their pet to have their own quiet space during their stay with us. I understand that every pet has different routines and comfort levels, so I try to keep their schedule as consistent as possible with feeding times, potty breaks, walks, medications, playtime, and rest. “Heather has been amazing! Absolute saving grace. She is so accommodating and flexible with everything I’ve ever asked (shots and multiple medications). She always sends pictures and updates even if my pups are just there for the day. She’s really great at learning dogs personalities and who will get along with who so she can keep all the dogs happy and safe! She really cares for every dog that stays with her like they are her own. My dogs leave so tired from the fun day they have at her house. The best sign is how much they love going back, they just run right into the house! That’s how you know they love it too! Book her!”

“Missy was a life saver! I was on a trip home while my husband was working late when we got a call from the extended stay hotel about my pups that needed attention quickly. Daisy can be hard to handle during thunderstorms and with strangers, but Missy was able to calm her enough to get her to her house and keep her for the rest of my trip. This is quite the feat considering we'd only left the pups with Missy once before. I can't recommend her enough!”

“Jamie, who goes by Lynn, was absolutely the perfect match for my dog. She is patient, kind and loving. She kept him the entire day and he was one happy dog when I picked him up. Lynn wanted to know all about him and any instructions for the day at drop off and she followed them perfectly. She has a fenced yard and they spent a lot of time out there. It is about a 20 minute drive for me and there are plenty of sitters closer, but I will continue to make the drive, because it doesn’t get any better than her.”
