We do not board our Charlie frequently and had never utilized Rover service so was a little anxious about leaving her with someone she didn’t know but based on Kendra’s great reviews I contracted Kendra. What an excellent experience! I cannot say enough good things about her. Her responses were very prompt and courteous! She is a very sweet person and Charlie went to her immediately. I knew that she would be well taken care of when I left. She even sent the cutest pictures of her playing in her fenced in backyard and looked so happy in the pictures! I could enjoy the game and family better knowing that Charlie was being well cared for! Hopefully, the next time we are in the area Kendra will be available to keep Charlie again! About: I have been the first choice of many friends and family to care for their pets. Both in my home and in theirs. Just for an afternoon, for an entire vacation, and in sudden emergencies. I have two dogs and five cats, as well as a hobby bird farm. Lots of smells and cuddles to be had. I also am happy to stay in your home and care for your pet in their own comfort zone. My work is remote, and as long as you have wi-fi, I'm set up to be productive. I've cared for very old and too young rescues for both dogs and cats, including medication and funky feeding schedules. I've even helped socialize shy rescues and help normalize healthy potty habits. I work full time fully remote, with limited travel. I always keep my calendar up to date with availability and obligations. I live in a rural area, so stay overs are preferred over drop ins, just because of travel time. The pets come first! They rely on us for everything, so I'm always keeping an eye open for their needs. Sometimes it's a potty break, dinner, or their own space. We have an extra-large kennel we keep set up in the event someone needs it, and a small one we set up if someone needs a more enclosed space for comfort and safety. I love getting pictures of my cats when we leave on a trip, so I always reciprocate when I'm pet sitting for someone else. You will always know your pup is getting tummy rubs, or your Guinea pigs are getting their veggies at dinner time.

About: Throughout most of my life my family has had cats. For a long time when I moved to the country, we only had one cat that was outside most of the time, his name was Henry and he was so sweet. However, after he passed, we adopted two beautiful baby kittens a few months later, Teddy and June! Me and my siblings helped raise those tiny kittens to the big beautiful fur balls they are now and they are the most loving and sweetest cats we have ever had for our family. I also help take care of cats through the humane society at my job at Petsense, I do my best to visit the local humane societies as often as I can to love on all the kitty babies. Cats are beautiful creatures and I truly love every single one I meet, I want to take care of each of them as best I am able. ❤️ I am very clean and make sure that when I am cleaning their space (litter box, play toys, etc.) I do a good job so they can be comfortable. About: I have been the first choice of many friends and family to care for their pets. Both in my home and in theirs. Just for an afternoon, for an entire vacation, and in sudden emergencies. I have two dogs and five cats, as well as a hobby bird farm. Lots of smells and cuddles to be had. I also am happy to stay in your home and care for your pet in their own comfort zone. My work is remote, and as long as you have wi-fi, I'm set up to be productive. I've cared for very old and too young rescues for both dogs and cats, including medication and funky feeding schedules. I've even helped socialize shy rescues and help normalize healthy potty habits. I work full time fully remote, with limited travel. I always keep my calendar up to date with availability and obligations. I live in a rural area, so stay overs are preferred over drop ins, just because of travel time. The pets come first! They rely on us for everything, so I'm always keeping an eye open for their needs. Sometimes it's a potty break, dinner, or their own space. We have an extra-large kennel we keep set up in the event someone needs it, and a small one we set up if someone needs a more enclosed space for comfort and safety. I love getting pictures of my cats when we leave on a trip, so I always reciprocate when I'm pet sitting for someone else. You will always know your pup is getting tummy rubs, or your Guinea pigs are getting their veggies at dinner time.
About: I have experience with puppy training basics, including house training reinforcement, crate training, leash manners, and maintaining consistent routines. I’m patient, calm, and positive, which helps young dogs learn while feeling safe and confident. For senior pets, I provide attentive, compassionate care, including administering medications, assisting with mobility, sticking to specialized diets, and monitoring for any changes in behavior or health. I understand that older pets need extra patience and gentle handling, and I make their comfort a top priority. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own—providing reliable, loving, and trustworthy care while keeping owners updated and worry-free. I am currently staying at home due to a lapse in full time work! Taking care of my pets is naturally in my daily routine as well as working on commission based art work. When it comes to taking care of pets in home, I am able to safely separate them from my other pets if need be. All of my pets are vaccinated! I do not have a fenced in yard, however I do have a gated porch! If your pups need walked they will be safely walked on a leash or they can be placed in my outside kennel if requested by you! :) pets are allowed on furniture!

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was a little girl, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve owned and cared for many different types of pets and have always taken the time to research their individual needs so I could give them the best life possible. I have over 30 years of experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities, from small breeds to large, powerful dogs. I’m comfortable following established routines, providing plenty of attention and playtime, and adapting my approach to each dog’s individual personality and needs. I also have experience with senior pets and understand that they may need extra patience, a slower pace, and closer attention to their comfort and behavior. My own dog is Hemi, my Rottweiler and resident “big baby.” He loves giving hugs and even knows how to tilt his head on command! Having a large dog of my own has given me plenty of hands-on experience with the strength, energy, and wonderfully goofy personalities that often come with bigger breeds. When I care for your dog, I want them to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. I’ll follow your instructions and their normal routine, spend quality time playing or relaxing with them, and I’m happy to send pictures and updates so you can see how they’re doing. I treat every pet in my care the way I would want someone to treat my own. As a teacher, I have a consistent schedule that makes it easy to plan pet care around my workday. I’m available for house-sitting every other week and can provide care before and after school as well as more flexible care on weekends and school breaks. When I accept a booking, I make sure I have the time to give your pet the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve, not just rush in and out. I know it takes a lot of trust to welcome someone into your home and leave a beloved pet in their care. As a teacher and longtime pet owner, I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to details. I’ll carefully follow your instructions and your pet’s normal routines, respect your home, and pay attention to any changes in behavior, appetite, or overall well-being. I’ll also send pictures and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, comfortable, and cared for.
About: I’m 21 years old and have grown up around animals my entire life. I have hands on experience caring for a wide range of pets, especially dogs of all sizes and breeds. I’ve had dogs my whole life from Chihuahuas and Dachshunds to Pit Bulls and Belgian Shepherds so I’m comfortable with everything from small, high energy pups to large, working breeds. I still care for my childhood Dachshund and currently have a Belgian Shepherd, which has given me strong experience with daily routines, training basics, exercise needs, and attentive care. I treat every pet as if they were my own and focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy while their owners are away. Pet care is my full time job, so it’s fully built into my daily and weekly routine. This allows me to dedicate my time and attention to each pet’s individual needs, whether that’s walks, feedings, playtime, medications, or just extra companionship. Since this is what I do every day, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability to provide reliable, consistent care and give your pets the attention they deserve.
