About: Growing up, outside of school I spent a good portion of my free time volunteering at a local animal shelter and actively challenging kids around me to help provide care to pets in most need. Most services needed or requested can be accommodated. Pets are allowed to roam inside my home or in my yard with my supervision. I take dogs on at least 3 walks a day if weather permits. I can accommodate most requests I currently work a part-time job from home that allows for a ton of flexibility. That being said I have a ton of time to play with your pups and give them the attention and care they deserve. My schedule is very flexible and I seek to make things as convenient as possible for you. I have a fenced in yard and two friendly dogs that are always looking to make new friends. When boarding I make sure to keep a close eye on any pet in my supervision. I have spare crates, bowls, blankets, and a mountain of toys to play with. About: I am a doctoral candidate in Biology at UofL, so you know I'm good at organization and scheduling! I think my time as a graduate student has sharpened my reasoning and communication skills as well. It's also increased my animal handling experience (mice)! I've had pets my whole life, mostly cats and dogs. My most recent pet is an elderly shi tzu with a surprising amount of energy! Apollo is a very skiddish cat, but we've definitely earned each others' trust. I can drop by to check on your pet, take them out for a walk (if weekday, must be before 10am or after 5pm, can be flexible), check on them periodically to feed them, or house sit (weekends only). I am a grad student, so I'm usually busy during weekdays 10am-5pm. Most of my work now is away from the bench, so I can be a little flexible about those hours Weekends are generally open! I love in an apartment that doesn't allow animals so I can't keep any here. I can however watch your furry friend at your house or take them on walks around the neighborhood!

She is usually a little put out with us after boarding her for a few days, but after her stays with Sarah she returns home happy and with little to no adjustment issues (even after a 2 week stay)!
