“This was my trip where I needed to find a sitter for Copper. When we lived in Illinois, we always had a known friend come and care for him in his own space. Now that we live in Kentucky, we do not really know anyone yet, so I needed to search for someone I felt he would be a good fit for. I viewed Arla's profile and was impressed that the dogs in her care were well cared for and not just locked up for the majority of the day and/or night. The dogs got the opportunity to go for walks and really got to be a part of her family. I was not disappointed, Arla welcomed my best friend in to her home and so did her family. I have taken him to daycare before and was heartbroken to see him not interacting and always sitting at the door waiting to go home. This was not the case in Arla's care. He snuggled up on a fluffy blanket (his favorite thing to do) on her couch and Arla even messaged me to make sure Copper being on furniture was ok w me. All the anxiety I had with going away and leaving him in someone else's care was gone. I am eternally grateful she welcomed him into her beautiful home and made him feel loved. About: I love all animals especially dogs. I have a yorkie poo and I have plenty of experience with dogs I love them like they are my own children. Very patient with training and potty training. I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

We understand that leaving your dog with someone else is a big decision, and we strive to provide a safe, loving, and fun home away from home. We've been dog sitting for over 9 years, so they're very comfortable welcoming new furry friends into our home. They're great at reading other dogs' body language and are happy to play or simply give visiting dogs their space if that's what they prefer. To keep everyone happy and healthy, all dogs are fed separately to prevent food-related conflicts, and we only give treats and food provided by each owner to help avoid upset stomachs or dietary issues. About: Never had my childhood home had less than 5 animals. I've grown up taking care of dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, rats, mice, gerbils, bunnies, and turtles-most of those under solely my care. I've always loved caring for my animals and watching them grow. I'm currently working a very flexible schedule Monday-Friday so I will be available almost any time! With weekends, just ask! I can usually squeeze in a visit/walk no problem. We have a 3200 sq ft 2 level home with a large unfenced yard. I have one friendly 8 year old female labradoodle, one very sweet, friendly, and energetic 1 year old newfoundland mix, and another very nonchalant 5 year old male cat. I also have a 9 year old son and a 3 year old son who both love and respect animals. Our home is a very comfortable space for any kid friendly animal to enjoy. We feed 2x a day, let them out to potty at least 4x a day-I will leash if necessary.

I can also take them on walks and runs and take them out for potty breaks. if they need to be fed at a certain time or need any type of medicine then that is very important to know in advance. Also knowing if they get along with other people/pets. we don’t want anything bad happening so knowing anything and everything about your pet(s) in advance is highly recommended.

“This was my trip where I needed to find a sitter for Copper. When we lived in Illinois, we always had a known friend come and care for him in his own space. Now that we live in Kentucky, we do not really know anyone yet, so I needed to search for someone I felt he would be a good fit for.
