About: I have taken care of pets since I was young, and always had pets in my home! I am a huge huge animal lover! We currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 bearded dragons, chickens, ducks and rabbits. We love all animals! I have been a Stay at Home Mom since my girls were born. Now that they are older, I’m looking for new things to do that I enjoy, and can still be around for my family when they need me. I have a fenced in yard that the dogs run and play in, a detached garage with an attachment. Inside the attachment there is a couch, TV, AC, and heat, with plenty of room to run around and play! It makes a nice little hang out spot. We come out here to play and run around at times. There is also a security camera in the attachment as well. Dog must be potty trained, and good with other dogs and cats. Please be honest, so it won’t cause conflict while taking care of your baby and others. If we take care of larger dogs, they will stay in the attachment and not in the house.

About: I’m a middle school teacher first, but I’ve had dogs all my life and have been dogsitting for the past five years through word of mouth and friend recommendations. I started then and loved it, so thought I would expand by joining Rover! We are a pet-loving family who loves having animals as “extra family” in our homes to give their own family peace of mind while they are at work or traveling. During the summer break, I’m available during the day, nights, and weekends. During the school year I am only available for overnight and weekend sitting. We have a large fenced in yard and a friend-loving golden retriever and a really big 2 year old helper. Pets kept in our home are treated just like our pets. He was special needs and required medication and a lot of specialized care. I will treat yours just as I did Mocha. I have a big yard, plenty of good toys, and a nice neighborhood for walks. I have experience with puppies who need lots of attention on up to senior dogs who like a quiet, relaxing atmosphere, as well as special needs animals who need medicine or special care. They run on a very tight schedule with eating wet food every morning at six A.M SHARP (they won’t let you miss it!) and we also keep a tight well-kept litter box around here so they are always taken care of! As a teacher I am available all day on weekends and in June and July, and am home by 3:30 throughout the week during the school year. I have a 5 year old Great Dane and German Australian mix that I've had since puppies. I'm great at teaching puppies sit, lay down, and recalling. (I'm not a professional by no means) I raised an elder iguana for 6 years before she passed, I grew up with cats of all personalities, and rabbits. I'm not shy or jittery of reptiles, amphibians, spiders or other insects. I work a very flexible work from home job that allows me to step away any time that I need. I can guarantee that your pet will not be alone for more than 4 hours Mon to Fri and Saturday and Sunday I usually have open availability I'm calm, I know stress signals in dogs and cats, I will meet with your animals at their own pace. I will follow any care instructions you have left and I will clean up any found accidents (puppies and other non house broke animals or elderly) including if their crates need cleaned as long as the supplies are easily found without me needing to open cabinets (on a counter or table) I always avoid people and other animals on walks to minimize all risks. I'm very careful when opening door in case someone decides to run, and I don't mind getting during/slobbered on

I have yet to meet a dog I don't love from the gentle giants to the tea cup heros I am currently unemployed and looking for work while I go back to school. I am a responsible college graduate who will primarily be home in Owensboro. I clean up after myself and am on time. I am also a very active person, so I can walk dogs multiple times every day.
